Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Yakima Valley

We loved this sweet little home. The updated kitchen was very nice. The bed and bedding was very comfortable. The front door can be hard to lock. Hildur was quick to respond if we had any questions.

Very clean and well maintained. Had everything I needed for my stay.

The eight of us enjoyed our stay here very much. There was plenty of room for all of us! We could be all together or spread out in smaller groups or individually. The view is spectacular. The owners were out of town but a special shout-out to the farm manager who handled the few issues we had quickly and efficiently. The kitchen had everything we needed for our meals. The house is slightly dated and could use a few updates here and there but mostly, we felt like royalty up there on top of the hill!

This home was exactly as posted! Manuel’s home was spotless, tidy, and beautifully furnished. The perfect rental for a girls weekend, family vacation and more. We loved the backyard the most— enjoyed a nice summer night on the patio! Thank you Manuel for hosting the perfect home for my college friends to reunite at. We are definitely staying here again when we all meet up next.

This was our third stay in this home with 3 kids aged preschool and younger, this time 5 days. We love how close (walkable) the place is to the best park in town. It’s an older house with lots of character. But it’s a great value. Would recommend and would stay again if in town.

This property is absolutely wonderful. It is great for a long stay and you want peace and quiet away from town. The bed is very comfortable, and I had everything I needed there to work and rest. I will be staying there again and I highly, recommend it. Gabriella is a very responsive and excellent host. She goes out of her way to accommodate guests as much as she can.

My husband and I were there for State Track and loved staying on the farm!! So beautiful and peaceful! We loved Dexter the doggo and baby duck and chicks and turkeys!!

This is the second time we have stayed at this home, and we would stay there again. It’s a beautiful neighborhood and close to downtown. The people in the neighborhood would say or wave Hi when where we were at running. Overall, a hidden little treasure for those that know.

Debbie's place was nice and the location is perfect for a nice walk and easy to find a restaurant near by. Very spacious and private. The bed was comfy, but the pullout couch was not so much. There is A/C in the apartment but it wasn't enough to circulate to the bedroom making a bit too warm at night. Overall it was a good stay and we had a great time in the river and visiting town. Will keep in mind for future visits.

Our Bridmar Apt. #206 was easy to find and exactly what we were looking for our weekend getaway: quiet, super clean and comfy bed. Communication with Diane was easy and quick. Entry codes were provided in advance and entry was easy. Top tip: to use the elevator enter via the right door. When entering through the left door, there’s a lovely waft of clean herbal scents from the adjacent soap store. We were not cooking lavish meals so the provided kitchen equipment fit the bill and the apt-sized dishwasher was a nice perk! There were a couple of restaurants within easy walking distance and we were comfortable walking at night. Parking was a little restrictive right in front of the building (be sure to read the signage) but we found convenient, free, parking a block away near the Franz Bakery. The only negative we have is the shower curtain liner should probably be replaced. We’d definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay here and will absolutely keep it in mind for our next visit.

We were super happy to find Gaylene's place last-minute. Everything was great-comfy beds, very clean bathroom, plenty of hot water, air conditioning was essential this week and the laundry facilities were a nice bonus. Lots of extra touches were added to make this cute place feel like home. We would definitely stay here again if we were coming to a concert at the gorge.

We had a little trouble finding the entrance and Ben was very responsive and helpful getting us pointed in the right direction. You can tell a lot of thought was put into the space and it was very comfortable and cozy. The shower had AMAZING water pressure and the temperature control was on the opposite side as the shower head which allowed for easy adjustment while the water was heating up, a very underrated amenity. You can really tell the attention to detail in this place. 10/10 highly recommend a stay at Ben’s place if you are looking in the Yakima area.

We loved how we could walk everywhere and enjoy the views of town from the large windows. We also got to take in the parade that happened that day from the comfort of our place.

It’s well furnished condo. I spent 5 nights with my wife while visiting family in Tri-Cities. Mariela has everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom. It felt like my home. The next door neighbor seems nice too. He was chatty and cool to me.

The location was perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet close to everything we needed. Our host was incredibly responsive and welcoming, making check-in and communication a breeze. You can really tell they care about making sure guests feel at home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We stayed at Nickey’s place with our three kids and one dog. We found it to have plenty of room for all of us and probably the best amenities I’ve ever experienced from an AirBnB. The coffee maker was so good I’m going to buy one for myself. I’d also be very curious to know what soap (shampoo, conditioner, body, and face) they use because it was so good and didn’t flare up my eczema. We played multiple of the board games and ate some really delicious cookies that the host provided. The lock mechanism was simple to use and felt very secure. This was just an awesome home base for us in between our adventures. Might I recommend for any families visiting that you be sure to check Lake Lenore Caves, the Moses Lake Aquatic Center, and Blue Heron Park? Just killer spots to take the family. Thanks for having us, Nickey! You’re a wonderful host.

The condo was well equipped, especially with kitchenware and dishes, and had a spectacular view of the lake. The grill was handy too and we could eat outside. Jordan was super-responsive to all inquiries and provided useful advice. Unfortunately, we never got to try the hot tub because the temperature was in the 90s.

Roger and Karly were very responsive, helped accommodate all our needs promptly and without hesitation! We will definitely book this rental again next year!

Tons of space. High ceilings and new construction. Beautiful view of the lake, especially from the upstairs balcony.

We loved staying here! Check in was so easy and the place was immaculate! The space was so well designed with many fine design touches and thoughtful additions. We had a great time hosting our grandkids during our stay. Our four year granddaughter old loved blowing bubbles Rachell provided and running through the sprinkler in the nice grassy backyard. We totally enjoyed our stay and plan to use it as a home base the next time we come to Yakima!
