Super property for couple or families as well we’re with lots of games and children’s books as well as all the amenities you could need for a long or short stay. Newtonlees Cottage-A hidden gem!

Teresa AnnRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Liz is a really great host, responded quickly to messages and was so thoughtful paying particular attention to allergies that one of our party suffered from. The cottage is cosy and although it’s small Liz has made really good use of the space and provided so many helpful bits that you may have forgotten to take with you.

Lovely cosy caravan

MichaelaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Recently stayed here and had such a lovely time. My mom flew over from Spain and myself, husband and toddler drove up to meet her (we live in the midlands) we were here visiting family. Lyns place was ideal. The location was fab, only 6 min drive to see my nanna. It’s a short walk to the beach (direct access) and the caravan itself was lovely. So clean and well looked after. Lyn had even put things in there for my toddler to play with - and a small chair for her to have her food. We couldn’t have asked for a lovelier place. Lyn was so responsive and easy to connect with. The caravan is located directly across from the entertainment hall which was brilliant for my toddler (she loved the slot machines) and there’s a restaurant too. It was very loud at night (Friday and Saturday until midnight) but we just used ear plugs and was fine!! Would deffo recommend this caravan and we will be staying here again I’m sure. Thank you xx

Honeymug, Branton

AnneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Honeymug provided the perfect backdrop for our group of six meeting up to reminisce about college days forty odd years ago! The cottage was comfortable and cosy and the welcome basket of goodies was indeed most welcome! Very comfortable beds to sleep off the long, coastal walks and swims in the indoor pool. We ate in The Bosk on our last evening and enjoyed it very much, having sampled the Friday evening pizzas too! Everyone was a fan of the outdoor jacuzzi, which we booked each evening and whirled away an hour chatting to the various local members we shared it with! Everyone was so friendly and we learned a lot about the area. Highlights were our boat trip to Inner Farne, an afternoon with the Chillingham cattle, and a day spent on the beautiful and peaceful Lindisfarne. We left feeling there was so much else to discover and we'll hope to be back to do just that! Many thanks John!

Had a lovely stay at Tumbler Rocks. The house suited our group size and young children perfectly. It was very comfortable, clean and cosy with high chairs, stair gates and a cot. The location was great too with Seahouses a short distance on foot (and stunning views along the way!) There were great options of things to do further afield too!

Luxury self-catering home

EmilyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a perfect stay at Findara, it was peaceful, spacious and beautifully decorated. The kids loved it and didn’t want to come home. We loved the open plan kitchen, living area where we could all be together but doing different things. The kids loved playing in the garden. It had everything we needed for our family of 6. Including extra bits all ready for our baby. We cant wait to go back!

The Hemmel, Old Town Farm

JoeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
If you are looking for a week off-grid then we would definitely recommend the Hemmel, it was everything we needed and more. Our favourite bits were the views, the peacefulness, and the red squirrels running across the stone wall in the garden! We can’t wait to come back again and explore more of Northumberland. Kate was an excellent host who was extremely helpful and very friendly. We based our plans off her comprehensive local guide folder and filled the rest of the time with the wide variety or board games, books, and DVDs!

Lovely Cottage, Sunny Deck, Dog Friendly, Near Pub

We stayed at the Old Post Office and had a great time. The property is full of character and was perfect for our family of two young boys. We particularly enjoyed the log fire, the chest of family games, and the selection of thoughtful touches. Everything to make our stay easy and relaxing was in place. The village is small, peaceful and perfectly located to go into Seahouses and Bambrough. We would stay here again and recommend highly. Perfect property; perfect host.

2 bedroom cottage with summer bunkhouse sleeps 4/6

LesleyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We've had the most wonderful stay at The Bastle House; spacious, stylishly furnished, well equipped with everything you need for a super comfortable stay. The sun room & garden were particular highlights for us and the cottage is an amazing retreat to return to after a lovely day exploring Northumberland. In a fantastic location with walks from the doorstep with the coast an easy 30 minutes drive away. Julia met us on arrival, showed us around the cottage to make sure we were all settled in and gave us a fantastic recommendation for dinner at a local pub, within walking distance. Julia is a stand out host who goes out of her way to make you feel that she really wants you to enjoy your time in her home and the surrounding area. There are lots of very thoughtful, personal touches that show a generosity toward guests and which we very much appreciated after a long drive from London; milk, butter, a home baked loaf of bread. The best AirBnB we have stayed in. Thank You so much Julia

Jo was super friendly, responsive and all in all a great host. We would definitely recommend staying here!
