Vacation rentals with lake access in Winona County

The clean & roomy house was great for short notice availability needed for only one night. We appreciate one night minimum for event in Lacrosse, WI nearby. We would not have booked if two night minimum, like other rentals. Friendly host that communicated promptly to messages & helpful with tips. Thank you!

This place is huge! Three floors of usable space and four large bedrooms plus an office space. It’s very quiet and peaceful with lots of natural light. It is a little far from town but that can be a plus if that’s what you are looking for. It was very family friendly. If you are traveling with someone who has mobility issues, there is a bathroom and bedroom on the main floor but no shower. There was a washer and dryer available for use. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for the use of your property!

This house was perfect for our event. So many great amenities and has everything you need! Highly recommend

The property was absolutely beautiful with many extras such as games, books, movies, and more. There were multiple baby/kid items such as a crib in the master bedroom, pack-n-play portable crib, high chairs, activity bouncy seat, and lots of toys! All the rooms were large wih big closets. We were a group of 12 traveling for a long family wedding wknd so it was nice to have closets in each room to hang dresses, suits, etc... Kitchen was very spacious and well stocked with cookware, bakeware, spices, coffee, crockpot, air fryer, just to name a few. The huge pantry was a bonus to hold our overflow items. If youre looking for a peaceful location for a large group, this house will meet your needs!!

Andrew’s River Retreat was a wonderful place for our bachelor’s party. We utilized the smoker and spacious kitchen for all of our meals and spent lots of time down at the beach playing spike all and floating down the river. The location is quiet (hardly any cars drove by), the scenery is beautiful, and there is so much to do in La Crosse and La Crescent. Andrew was very responsive and left a long list of recommendations and guidance for our stay. It is a very ‘lived-in’ cabin, in other words, the couch was very comfortable instead of just looking pretty, plus there were plenty of different utensils for cooking and grilling. The loft and layout of the place made us feel like kids again and is very communal. Highly recommend for any getaways with friends or families!

We had a family girls weekend at Megan’s place. We enjoyed every minute. It was Winona’s steam boat days and we were worried about noise and lots of people around but it was perfect. Far enough from the events but still close that we could enjoy too! The stairs were difficult for my grandmother but it worked out that she a bedroom downstairs as well for her! We had a great time and will definitely come again!

The place is nice, quiet and even though the neighbors are pretty close you still feel very private. The only issue I had was the steps leading down to the dock/water area are a bit treacherous and I couldn’t get the elderly in laws down there but it was still a very nice stay and definitely stay again.

Angie’s place was a beautiful home & stay! we traveled for a wedding in the area, and Angie’s cottage was perfect! She was so kind and responsive as well with any questions!

Very clean, well outfitted, great location a block from the beautiful lake, very responsive host. She provided coffee, granola bars and cereal/milk for breakfast which was a nice touch. The living room has several comfy recliners for relaxing and the mattresses on the beds are very comfortable. The only downside is I’m a light sleeper and there is traffic and train noise. Also, the pillows were all taller which isn’t as comfortable for my neck as a side sleeper. I would stay again and bring my own pillow. Overall it was a great place to stay.

This lovely lake home was a pleasure to stay at. The location has beautiful surroundings, and is very quiet and peaceful. The hosts are great...very responsive and helpful. And the home was very clean and full of everything I needed. I hope to return. Overall - 5 stars!

We stayed at Abbie's cabin for a peaceful relaxing weekend. She has kayaks available for the lake and was prompt and easy going with her communication. The cabin is in a group of cabins that have dock access and has a beautifully restored prairie with walking trails across the road. It also has a private deck for relaxation.
