Welcome to our home. This beautiful farm in the typical Dutch countryside was built in the beginning of the last century. We bought & created this lovely place and split it into two houses and the barn next to it as a tiny conference place. The backhouse is what we offer for rent: this used to be the stables in the old days and is now a big, open space with an upstairs. The house is surrounded by a 800m2 garden, included the space under the haystack.

We liked the small house very much and we felt very comfortable. Check-in went smoothly, the house looked exactly like the pictures. The bedroom window opens directly to the neighbors' gravel parking lot - but even that was not very disturbing. The house was very lovingly furnished, impressively clean and everything we needed was there. We spent very relaxing days and would come back anytime!

The little cottage was very cozy and quiet. We enjoyed eating in front of the patio door and looking into the garden. There are a few chickens there, we had a lot of fun with them. The two cats visited us from time to time, we liked that very much. Sara and Steven were very friendly and always responded to our questions very quickly. Thank you again for that. Tienhoven is a beautiful little village, we felt very comfortable there.

We spent a relaxing week in the middle of beautiful nature. Recommended especially for bike rides and hikes. From the cities of Breukele and Woerden (each 15-20 minutes by car) you can easily and quickly get by train, for example, to Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Utrecht. Karin’s place outside of Amsterdam was a lovely stay. It is more out in the countryside so travel to the city requires a 20 minute walk, a 15 minute bus ride, and a 15-20 minute train ride, but it was very easy to navigate. The area is beautiful and quiet. Karin’s place is very spacious, clean, cozy, and well equipped for anything you might need. Checking in was easy and we were even welcomed with a fresh pastry and a glass of white wine. Karin’s communication is excellent and I rarely waited more than a few minutes for a response. Everything is clearly laid out on a booklet inside the place that includes restaurant recommendations and transportation information for getting around the area. The place is very comfortable and the private deck in the backyard is a nice touch. The town that is a 20 minute walk away was well equipped with a grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants. I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area and want a more quiet stay outside of the busy city.
