This light and airy cottage is within walking distance to all the town facilities. It's a comfortable place for the whole family. You'll love the walks you can take after dinner and the rumpus room is the perfect place to sit by the Pot Belly Fire and watch a movie. If you're into mountain bikes, Melrose is one of the best attractions in South Australia. If you don't have a bike, you can hire them in town. Beautiful historic cottage with modern touches located within the grounds of the stunning Jacka Brothers Brewery. Lovely view of Mount Remarkable from the kitchen. Very friendly hosts, with great local recommendations. Easy check-in and 30seconds from the biking trails. Can’t wait to return.

Good location for exploring the Ranges. Facilities are good,clean and well set up. Ensure you have food as there is nothing in Stone Hut if bakery is closed.

Bunk on brewery was the perfect location for our friends catch up in Melrose. We had the kids and it was an easy bike ride or walk to the brewery & the main street for the cafe and bike tracks. Super quiet location. Amazing view of mount remarkable. A great weekend even in the rain 🙌🏼

The cottage was in a delightful setting and inside was cosy & charming. Loved the rustic garden. The owners have made sure everything is there that guests need & everything works as it should unlike some b & b ‘s we have stayed in. Breakfast supplies were excellent. Lovely character filled, private outdoor alfresco area. Great to have carport for car at the front door. The bathroom is spacious with great shower. There is a small step from bedroom to bathroom & small step over in to shower. Tastic heater in bathroom very effective. The host was very friendly, helpful & informative. We had a meal delivered from Fantastic Fresh - Vietnamese food in High street which was delicious with friendly service. We loved Port Germein for our 2 night stay. Thanks Tony & Marie - Claire for sharing your lovely little haven.

We found the bed super comfortable and slept well every night - which is not easy when away from home. Accommodation has a great peaceful vibe, and is overall bigger than a typical hotel room. Tea/coffee and microwave use was great. A kitchen too but we didn’t use it. Just watch out for those overhead touch lights above the bed when you are rearranging yourself during the night 😂 Very clean and tidy. Good wi-fi. Friendly hosts. Would stay again!
