We recently acquired the house we live in which has an efficiency apartment in the back. It is cozy and private. The house is old and unique. It was previously a long term rental. We wanted to provide a restful space in the heart of Maine Highlands, the crossroads of Central Maine. We enjoy the scenic area with beautiful lakes rivers, multiuse trail systems and trail head of the 100 mile wilderness of the Appalachian Trail, Moosehead lake, Maine's largest lake, and State Parks.

Elise was great throughout the entire stay! We had a little hiccup with a broken bathroom line which was totally not at all Elise's fault but she was sooooo amazing throughout the entire process and such a sweetheart! 💜💜 Elise's cabin was so cute and amazing! I definitely would say that the wood stove was an added bonus on the colddddd Maine nights! We would definitely 100% recommend staying here!! We loved the peace and tranquility at the cabin and the amount of ácreage in the area!! Thank you again Elise for sharing your place!!!

The cabin was amazing , I highly recommend it. It matched the description and pictures, the place if beautiful, private and cozy, we found it easily with Google Maps. Just make sure to arrive via Highland Ave - our navigation suggested a "shorter" route via Halls Ave and that's not a good idea. Cabin was fully equipped - kitchen, bathrooms, washing machine, dryer, etc. There was also a manual for recommendations and local tips (the lake was amazing at the sunset) and even little details were great - lots of USB-C/Lightning chargers, or wireless chargers for phone/watch next to the bed.

Overall, we had a very peaceful and smooth stay at this beautiful cabin! We found it with no troubles, hosts were very responsive, and the boats and board games were nice touches. We had a few minor issues (coffee container was empty and firewood costs were a bit steep), but we’d recommend the cabin and would love to come back.

Unforgettable Sunrises On Sebec Lake

This is the third time our group has stayed at the lake house and it was once again a wonderful trip. We rented a boat from Tim Merrill and docked it at the house. It rained a bit but that didn’t stop us from getting out there and fishing. Stacey and Tom were wonderful hosts, friendly and available if we needed anything or to ask questions.

Kyle was phenomenal. He really takes pride in making sure his guests are all set. He checked in with me several times to make sure everything was going well, and if I had any questions. I was here for a full month with work, and he was very easy to work with. The place is great for 1-2 people. Very clean and the place has a lot of character. I would HIGHLY recommend this place! Very clean and private! Dealing with a very nice person is a bonus as well!
