Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Whidbey Island

We came here for a special occasion as part of our book club retreat, and truly enjoyed every waking moment in this beautiful space and the surroundings. There were stunning views and beach access, a fire pit area, hot tub and a deck where we gathered and crafted and even danced. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds were super comfy. Art supplies were a nice touch and a great addition for our group. We want to come back and make it an annual affair!

We absolutely love staying in this beautiful house and come back whenever we can, but this was a special visit because we got to bring our little one-year-old and other family for the first time. Marnie was so kind and accommodating as always! This is really a magical place for quiet days watching the tides come and go, strolling on the beach, and spotting bald eagles nesting close by.

This house was amazing. The view was epic. We sat on the porch and watched the seals and otters for hours. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed including some spices for making some dinner and breakfasts. Donna was an excellent host! Will stay again when I’m in the area.

This place made for a very peaceful, relaxing vacation for us- exactly the kind we were hoping for. The house has gorgeous views of the sea from the living room, kitchen and master bedroom, and is located in a very quiet green neighborhood surrounded by trees with a nice front yard where they have planted flowers such as azaleas, roses etc. We enjoyed spending time with our dogs sitting in the patio furniture in the front yard in the sun enjoying the views watching deers, eagles, hummingbirds, baby island, the sea. The private beach is right across from the house at 5 mins walking distance, which made it easy for us to enjoy the beach multiple times. The house has expansive books on nature, painting, photography and various other subjects which we loved exploring. The hosts are one of the best we have come across so far ( we have stayed in a lot of nice airbnbs) who went out of their way to accommodate our needs.

We loved this house! The view and beach front location were amazing. The home was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, very clean and well stocked. I appreciated the small details that made the house very kid friendly (stools in the bathrooms, kid dishes, kid beach and indoor toys and books). Aileen was very helpful and responsive. We definitely plan to stay here again.

The Home in Langley was incredible. The photos didn’t do it justice. Walking in to the bright, clean, open but cozy space and being greeted by a wall of ocean view was well worth the trip out to Washington. Ha is an excellent host. We were pleasantly surprised by the amenities and attention to detail that made our stay extra comfy. It felt like a home away from home. The bed was so comfortable we’re inspired to find something similar! We enjoyed spending our mornings and evenings on the deck watching the water, looking for seals, and enjoying the sea breeze. The well stocked kitchen allowed us to cook a couple meals at the house and enjoy a hot cup of coffee each morning. Thank you for an outstanding stay. We can’t wait to come back.

Great place! Right off the ferry- 10 min drive from local restaurants and hikes. Well stocked with a full kitchen, towels, bathroom products, games, blankets. Comfy beds! Would recommend to all kinds of groups. To note it sleeps 10 well but is a bite tight inside on dining for 10. Plenty of outdoor space.

This was our second stay at the Roost. It was clean, quiet, and as pictured on listing with great location close to shops and restaurants in Langley. Tamar and Gene are wonderfully communicative. The extra touches are appreciated. Definitely a home away from home.

It was a beautiful space! Lots of natural light, thoughtfully decorated and stocked. More spacious than expected. We hope to come back again and again!

This was a fantastic place to stay in Port Townsend! Very close to shops and restaurants in the uptown area and an easy walk to the water front. It was spacious, comfortable, and nicely decorated. I would stay again!

Peggys was such a wonderful host and a great communicator. The studio was very clem and the location was spot on. It was very close to everything especially the ferry harbor, which was super convenient for us since island hopped everyday. Would recommend and definitely would stay again.

The place is an absolute gem! Out in a quiet neighborhood tucked into a forest of trees. The surrounding is quiet, tranquil, and a great place to relax. Amenities are clean and comfortable. Cozy! Amy was super proactive in messaging me about how to get in. Check in and out was a breeze! A great property, will definitely be on my list of places to stay again if I take another trip to Whidbey Island.

This is the second time we have stayed here. We have been vacationing as a large family for over 20 years. And this place checks all the boxes for us! Quiet rooms, private bathrooms, good bedding, multiple gathering areas, a large outdoor space with firepit. We all were able to relax and unwind. We plan to return!

Exceeded all expectations. Home was extremely sizable, very well maintained, and in a great area in close proximity to quite a few conveniences.

This is my 2nd time staying here. Had a great time and can't wait to come back again!

Absolutely beautiful space that has been wonderfully preserved for history

What a beautiful property! My friends and I had the best time enjoying the stunning views, gorgeous house and the relaxing hottub. It was perfect for a girl’s trip. The host was kind and helpful as well. We would love to come back someday!

We loved our stay at this location. The views are spectacular, including the water, the mountains, the eagles soaring by and one humpback whale! The kitchen includes everything you could possibly want or need--even knives that are sharp! The bedrooms are comfortable as are the common areas. The pool was a major high point for all of us, and the house comes with lots of other fun toys for indoors and out. We plan to return!
