A detailed view of a spider web clings to a wooden post, with dew droplets adding a subtle sparkle against a blurred background of grassy fields. The web’s intricate pattern is highlighted by the soft morning light.

Darjelyn Lodge-Tranquil mountain retreat

HelenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lynn’s place was the perfect place for us to spend a peaceful and relaxing long weekend. The house is so spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to come together or have some quiet time apart. There were lots of games and activities for both kids and adults, a well stocked lovely kitchen, comfy beds (all with electric blankets and lovely linen) and the scenery outside was beautiful. We didn’t need to, or want to, leave all weekend!

Magnificent Heritage Homestead

What a wonderful historical property and so grateful that you are sharing it for others to enjoy. It was the perfect place to accommodate our 3 generation Easter family catch-up. The swimming pool was used alot along with and the beautiful gardens around the home which were all manicured. It will be great if/when the tennis/basketball area is fixed up but we made great use of the Great Victorian Bike track at the back of the property. There are views from every window in the home which makes every room a little special but our favourite was the main dinning room looking down to the Goulburn River. A special thanks to Kelvin who is very responsive and friendly. We also appreciated the opportunity of an earlier check-in and late check-out. Would highly recommend this property.

Break O'Day View - Flowerdale

Awesome place with amazing scenery. Pictures don’t do the place justice, it’s quite new and super clean. Had all the basics covered and the fireplace created a great ambience. It’s not really near anything but that’s what we liked about it as was tranquil and peaceful. Perfect for a weekend get away, I highly recommend.

Mimosa Spahouse is so incredible. If possible, the pictures don't even do it justice. I went for an extended stay, a 7 night winter escape, and being surrounded by peace and beauty was soul-filling. The spahouse felt so luxurious. The bed was very comfortable, the rain pitter-pattering on those gorgeous huge bay windows was so peaceful, the underfloor heating was delightful. The glasshouse was so cute too. I went for many walks on moss-covered paths, and it felt so private and peaceful getting lost amongst the birds. I honestly can't sing the praises of this place enough, it is stunning. And the hosts have thought of everything! There wasn't really anywhere to cook (other than the bbq but it was too cold for that for me), but I had pre-prepared some meals, brought them with me and popped them in the mini bar fridge and used the glasshouse microwave, so all good there. Thank you so much for having me, I hope to be back sometime soon!

Highland Ten - Luxury Rustic Retreat

It was a brilliant stay! The house is much better than in photos and our expectations. Everything was very well equipped, very tastefully decorated and very well thought out. The surrounding area is very beautiful as well, we enjoyed having the horses in our backyard. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, serene and magical escape.

Cathedral Views by Tiny Away

We had such a wonderful time during our staycation at this peaceful lakeside and mountainside farm retreat! From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by the calming beauty of nature, quiet lake views on one side and majestic mountains on the other. It was the perfect setting to unwind, relax, and enjoy the fresh country air. One of the highlights of our trip was the bonfire at night. Gathering around the fire under the stars, sharing stories, laughing, and drinking wine, it was such a cozy and memorable experience. It really brought us closer together and added a magical touch to our evenings. The farm itself was charming and serene. We loved taking slow walks by the lake. The combination of lake, mountain, and farmland made this getaway truly special. We had so much fun and left feeling recharged and refreshed. If you're looking for a quiet, scenic escape with a bit of everything, lakeside and mountain views.
