Lynley’s holiday home is spacious and perfect for large families/groups. The home is well presented and well designed. It is a lovely place to relax and has excellent spots for everyone to come together.

Amazing, breathtaking view. Best place for me and bridesmaids before went to my wedding at Don Rowland. The only downfall is that the dam was closed at the time, it would have been a 5 minute drive but had to go right around via motorway (20 min) but the house itself was well worth it! Had everything we needed and more!!! I would consider going again just for a normal weekend. The hosts were accommodating in every way, we had access to kayaks, best coffee machine, comfy couches and beds, clean showers, a nice bbq, beautiful flowers, awesome neighbours, parking for about 3 cars and extra blankets and towels. 10/10 from us!

We had a lovely stay at Kristie’s place, it was exactly as described and lovely quick run across to the beach for beautiful sunsets. Kristie was very helpful and responsive.

The unit have all the stuff we need for the trip. It was last minute to book it in and the host responded to my queries real quick. They gave us clear instructions regarding the unit. The place itself was near to waihi beach which was fabulous and my dog Tella really loved the place. It had rain too and even if we needed to stay inside we can still chill indoors with board games etc. The place was really big and it can accommodate a bigger family too. Great location near the beach and family friendly house with a backyard full of toys. Also near great coffee/lunch spots. Comfortable beds and good curtains. Outside deck and the house overall could use an upgrade as its all outdated and worn thin.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The place was beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We especially loved the pool—it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The hosts were fantastic—friendly, responsive, and made sure everything was just right. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Catherine's place exceeded all expectations. The space itself was incredibly roomy, making it perfect for relaxing, spending time with others, or just enjoying some quiet downtime. There were plenty of things to do, which kept everyone entertained throughout the stay—whether it was exploring the surroundings or enjoying the pool, reading books and playing the piano. What really stood out, though, was Catherine's hospitality. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, leaving a handwritten note and some thoughtful snacks for us to enjoy upon arrival. It's those personal touches that really make a difference and show how much she cares about her guests’ experience. Everything about the stay was smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. I honestly can’t think of a single downside. I’d wholeheartedly recommend Catherine’s place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-hosted getaway.

Yana has been amazing, our team stayed for two weeks at her lovely accommodation, she was very easy going and pleasant to deal with, we will be back in the area soon and are hoping we can stay again. The team were very pleased with the accommodation too, the spa bath was a lovely addition after a hard day's work, they also enjoyed watching the stars and listening to the birds - it was a perfect escape from the busy day on the road. We highly recommend Yana's hideaway to anyone!

Nicola went above and beyond for me and my friends for my 40th birthday. The house has so much character and so much to do. The tennis court and swimming pool were an added bonus on top of everything else. The house had everything we needed. Great place for everyone to enjoy.

Five of us spent two nights here and it was fantastic. Lovely home, lots of space for everyone to spread out, amazing location- we walked to the beach easily, and to the shops and restaurants in The Mount. Would 100% stay here again! Also, Sienna was extremely helpful and easy to reach. Loved everything about our stay.

Danielle’s home was immaculate, peaceful and way bigger than the photos make the house look! There was plenty of space to lounge around and the swimming pool and well kept grounds were an added bonus.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Craig & Jens Place. It was easy to find and in such a beautiful location, Every thing you could think of had been catered for. Craig was so lovely and really enthusiastic about showing us around, felt very honored to meet and play with Major and Parker ( the 2 dogs) We would love to come back in the warmer months for a swim in the stream.

We couldn’t have picked a more perfect spot for our mini-moon! From the moment we arrived, we were in love—gorgeous flower gardens, dreamy hydrangeas, and the most charming vintage decor that was so our vibe. Every little detail was thoughtful and welcoming. Our small dog, Hazel, was just as happy as we were, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and exploring the garden. It felt like a cosy, romantic escape while still having all the comforts of home. We truly didn’t want to leave! Love, love, love—would stay again in a heartbeat! 💕✨🐾

It was our first time doing something like this with our young family of 5 and we had an amazing time. The setup was perfect for a family getaway. It was comfortable, clean, and surrounded by nature. Stephanie was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The kids had a blast, and so did we. Just when we thought Airbnb hosts couldn’t get any better, we spent our King’s weekend at the Harbour Drive Hide Out. Paul & Fiona are the best yet! They made their home so welcoming to us from the moment we stepped in the door, it was unforgettable. They even prepared treats and a doggie bed for our paw-baby! Thank you so much!!! We will be back next year so please have your massage chair ready!! 🥹🥰

We had a great time at Robyn’s place, everything is perfect! Robyn is a wonderful host, easy to communicate throughout our staying. And we accidentally left some marks on the dinning table by oven tray but Robyn was understanding and gracious about that, which we really appreciated.
