Lynley’s holiday home is spacious and perfect for large families/groups. The home is well presented and well designed. It is a lovely place to relax and has excellent spots for everyone to come together.

Amazing, breathtaking view. Best place for me and bridesmaids before went to my wedding at Don Rowland. The only downfall is that the dam was closed at the time, it would have been a 5 minute drive but had to go right around via motorway (20 min) but the house itself was well worth it! Had everything we needed and more!!! I would consider going again just for a normal weekend. The hosts were accommodating in every way, we had access to kayaks, best coffee machine, comfy couches and beds, clean showers, a nice bbq, beautiful flowers, awesome neighbours, parking for about 3 cars and extra blankets and towels. 10/10 from us!

The unit have all the stuff we need for the trip. It was last minute to book it in and the host responded to my queries real quick. They gave us clear instructions regarding the unit. The place itself was near to waihi beach which was fabulous and my dog Tella really loved the place. It had rain too and even if we needed to stay inside we can still chill indoors with board games etc. The place was really big and it can accommodate a bigger family too. Had a lovely stay here. House was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable, nice sheets and towels. Great to be able to bring our dog with us, fully fenced garden was perfect. Lots of board games, books and things to keep us busy on the rainy days. Tanya was lovely and met us at the door, we were given a tour and all the info we needed, including a quick rundown on the local restaurants and shops. Location was very good, close to everything but far enough away to be quiet. We appreciated being able to put the car in the garage as well. Would definitely recommend staying here 😊

Great location near the beach and family friendly house with a backyard full of toys. Also near great coffee/lunch spots. Comfortable beds and good curtains. Outside deck and the house overall could use an upgrade as its all outdated and worn thin.

Loved this little spot. The home was a well maintained Bach with thoughtful design of furnishings and accessories. Very clean and tidy. Great linen, comfy beds. Stephanie was quick to answer any communications prior. Despite disappointing weather, meaning we couldn’t be out on the water or taking walks nearby, it was a cozy cottage to be settled in for the weekend for relaxation.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The place was beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We especially loved the pool—it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The hosts were fantastic—friendly, responsive, and made sure everything was just right. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Quirky fun layout. Very practical & roomy enough for 9 guests. The kids loved that the pool was available even though it was Easter weekend. Roszarri was very helpful and welcoming.

This is my happiest experience. The host is very nice, considerate, kind, and the service is good. The room is clean and hygienic. The host cleans the room every day. Her dog is also very cute. Anyway, we are very satisfied. We will choose this place again next time.

Catherine's place exceeded all expectations. The space itself was incredibly roomy, making it perfect for relaxing, spending time with others, or just enjoying some quiet downtime. There were plenty of things to do, which kept everyone entertained throughout the stay—whether it was exploring the surroundings or enjoying the pool, reading books and playing the piano. What really stood out, though, was Catherine's hospitality. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, leaving a handwritten note and some thoughtful snacks for us to enjoy upon arrival. It's those personal touches that really make a difference and show how much she cares about her guests’ experience. Everything about the stay was smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. I honestly can’t think of a single downside. I’d wholeheartedly recommend Catherine’s place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-hosted getaway.

Yana has been amazing, our team stayed for two weeks at her lovely accommodation, she was very easy going and pleasant to deal with, we will be back in the area soon and are hoping we can stay again. The team were very pleased with the accommodation too, the spa bath was a lovely addition after a hard day's work, they also enjoyed watching the stars and listening to the birds - it was a perfect escape from the busy day on the road. We highly recommend Yana's hideaway to anyone!

Five of us spent two nights here and it was fantastic. Lovely home, lots of space for everyone to spread out, amazing location- we walked to the beach easily, and to the shops and restaurants in The Mount. Would 100% stay here again! Also, Sienna was extremely helpful and easy to reach. Loved everything about our stay.

We had a great time with our puppy at Alison and Alan’s place. Beautiful property for our pup to run around without any worries. Room was clean and comfy with good amenities. Highly recommend staying at Pyes Pa Rural Retreat! Thanks Alison and Alan for your friendly hospitality

Hilary and Rob are fantastic hosts. Hilary is super friendly and accommodating. I simply inquired if there is a microwave at the place to heat up takeaway food (no big deal if there isn’t one), she went out of her way -and bought a brand new one before we checked in. We were amazed by her kindness and effort, we really appreciated it. The place is very peaceful with stunning view, highly recommended! Just when we thought Airbnb hosts couldn’t get any better, we spent our King’s weekend at the Harbour Drive Hide Out. Paul & Fiona are the best yet! They made their home so welcoming to us from the moment we stepped in the door, it was unforgettable. They even prepared treats and a doggie bed for our paw-baby! Thank you so much!!! We will be back next year so please have your massage chair ready!! 🥹🥰

We loved our stay at Shaw Cottage. The check-in was very easy and everything was open for us when we arrived. The cottage was just like the pictures, super clean and had all the amenities we needed. The hosts even provided the ability to wash our clothes. Highlights: Communication: Marie responded immediately and kindly to anything we needed Location: The cottage is a bit out of the way, but that is what we were looking for. Very quiet and private - beautiful county scenery. We were looking for something situated between the coast (Te Puke) and Rotorua and this fit the bill perfectly. Comfortability: The cottage was cozy and all the windows made for a bright and warm atmosphere. Bed, couches, chairs were very comfortable. Cleanliness: Everything was clean, neat, and well kept up. We would definitely stay here again!

A fabulous little sanctuary so close to the beach. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t quite what we hoped, but that didn’t really matter as the place was so comfortable with great sofas a large Smart TV and fast Wi-Fi. The fully fenced garden made it a dream for our little fur baby, who loved zooming around the grass. The kitchen is well stocked with good quality pans and crockery and the plumbed fridge freezer with ice maker was great for G&T time! Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay & will certainly be booking again. The house was really well set up & warm on the cooler winter evenings. Everything was clean, well organized & easy to find spare blankets etc. Tania was easily contactable & friendly. We all left saying it was the best air bnb house we've stayed in by far!

Really enjoyed our time here! The host was great and proactive with communication. Check-in was a breeze, no stress at all. The place is in such a good location, close to all the tourist spots and really easy to get around. Perfect if you just want a smooth, comfy stay while exploring the area. Would definitely come back!
