The river is ideal for swimming, fishing, kayaking, gold panning. We are located halfway between Christchurch and Nelson, enjoy a relaxing stop off on your journey or bring the family and enjoy a fantastic rural get away. Bike tracks, walks, including the Lake Daniel's day track are in the Buller area

Set on the grounds of Murchison Motorhome Park is this Queen bed cabin suitable for one or two adults only (no pets, children, or Additional guests). Guests will have access to the kitchen and bathrooms in the main building which includes a log fire and hot showers and coined operated laundry. If joining us in summer, you will love our walking track and outside garden area with access to some of the best river swimming spots in the area. Bring your own breakfast. LATEST check-in time is 8pm.

Nine Mile Beach Cottage

Kick back and relax in this private, peaceful space. Nine Mile Beach is a short stroll across the garden, with your own easy beach access. Sometimes you may be the only person on the beach. A very calming place to be. Lots of tuis, bellbirds, fantails, wax eyes, wekas, hawks and seabirds. Walking, cycling, kayaking and horse riding are all possible. Punakaiki (Pancake Rocks), Paparoa National Park, Caving, Denniston plateau, Constant Bay, Truman Track, and a Seal Colony are all close.

It is a 5 minute drive to Greymouth and a 1 km to the start of the Point Elizabeth scenic bush walk. This is a great bush walk mainly sheltered with good native bush cover. The main bedroom has great sea views and an ensuite. Plenty of parking space is available behind the house.
