Cabin vacation rentals in West Union

Andrea was great! Gave us good recommendations for places to eat and was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The cabin(little smokies in Blue Creek) was very clean with lots of room to stretch out and has an awesome hot tub on the new back deck. You won't go wrong with this cabin or Andrea as your host.

This was just what we needed for a relaxing weekend. We enjoyed spending time as a family playing shuffleboard and pool, fishing, walking the golf cart paths, and sitting around a bonfire. The cabin had everything we needed to cook and enjoy our meals on the deck overlooking the meadow and pond.

Great trip! Loved the town of Hillsboro and the location of the cabin. Cabin was lovely besides the stink bugs, these were a serious problem. Lots of dead ones everyone and definitely had an infestation, took about 6 live ones outside in our 3 day trip. Definitely something to look into but other than that everything else was perfect!

We went to Adams county to take in the beauty and to try our hand at doing some fishing. Frank's place is a great couples get away ! We found the cabin/house to be welcoming and very clean which is important to us. The kitchen is well equipped with up to date appliances which made cooking easy with everything we needed from skillets to steak knives. Grilling out was easy as well as Frank provided coal and wood. We also enjoyed the hot tub which does stand out as being new and easy to use. We did need the AC which wasn't as user friendly, but we did catch on without having to reach out for help with it. The shower works fine, no issues there. Frank's cabin is in a remote place so we were glad we brought everything we could think of in terms of food..... The Amish markets are nearby which were fun to browse and we did pick up a pie and had a picnic lunch there. Thank you, Frank for being a five star host !

The cabin was beautiful and the view of the local town off the porch was gorgeous!! The house was spotless when we arrived and we had everything we needed for our stay, all the listed amenities were functioning and as listed, the hot tub was awesome! Chris was very responsive and helpful, he even shut down Sunday for us so we could take our time leaving, will definitely be staying again in the future!

Everything about this air bnb was perfect. We will definitely be back in the winter!

The cabin was cute and cozy and the kitchen was well stocked with items often forgotten. During our visit we watched a buck walk through the property, loved on a very friendly kitty, watched a lot of birds and squirrels scampering around and had many Amish buggies pass by. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning sometime in the future.

I loved this stay ! It was in a beautiful location , I walked up the road and found a pear tree , behind the house there’s a beautiful open field. I will be returning ! Only thing is that there wasn’t any salt and pepper like listed . But I didn’t mind too much. Also to note I stayed during a warm season and struggle sleeping in the heat, the AC unit is in the living room so that it where I slept during my stay. Host was very responsive and friendly, there are stores nearby with everything you need. I felt very safe here and held by the beautiful surrounding nature.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The rental was very clean, reasonably priced and conveniently located near Hillsboro.

Loved our time here! The house was as advertised, spacious, lots of amenities for kiddos and adults. Comfortable beds. Clean. Very quiet and the bedrooms were DARK in the morning with all the trees. Lovely cabin in the woods.

out of all the places me and my wife have stayed, this was one of our top stays. Joe was extremely friendly and easy to talk too. he made us feel welcome and was a pleasant person to talk too. there was a lot to see and take in. I would recommend this stay too anyone! we would love to stay there again and so far we plan too! thank you, joe!

Very relaxing a peaceful stay. Cabin was a unique and different place to stay. It was exactly what I was looking for when I decided to go on a weekend getaway

McChesney Ridge is a beautiful private location with all the necessary amenities and conveniences. The property has great walking trails, an incredible covered porch (pavilion) overlooking a sizeable pond. The house is roomy and well appointed with all the conveniences necessary... coffee maker, dishwasher, washer/dryer, etc... The beds, linens, pillows are super comfortable! There's a very peaceful feel, it's quite, comfortable and super relaxing! As this is my/our 4th stay at the "Ridge" it's obvious how well we enjoy our time here.

This cabin was absolutely everything we wanted it to be! A place in the hills and sticks. We got that and much more! No cell service-which meant peaceful bliss! Our 2 kids and 2 small dogs enjoyed the acrage to explore, and they loved the creek! We loved the outdoor seating with rocking chairs, porch swing, and pavilion chairs! We needed to rest and relax, and that's exactly what we got here! And there wasn't a single thing we needed at the cabin, it had everything you needed in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms! Extremely happy with our stay!

The weather wasn't that nice, but it made us appreciate the home that much more. It was so relaxing staying indoors and watching the rain through all the windows around the house. We had a relaxing nap before going out for dinner. It's so peaceful out there. And we absolutely LOVE that shower. Thank you for sharing the home with us.

This cabin was everything we needed for a weekend away visiting my parents who had their RV parked nearby at Sandy Springs campground. It was a great size for our group of 3 adults and 3 little kids, plus 2 other adults visiting and eating meals there. The whole cabin was super clean and well-stocked with things like toilet paper and laundry and dishwasher detergent. We did have a WiFi issue when we arrived but Anita was extremely responsive and we were able to get it resolved that night. The beds were very comfortable and the setting was beautiful. We would definitely stay here again!

The cabin and property were both so peaceful and absolutely stunning. We wished we could have stayed longer. Everything was clean and the kitchen had all nice new amenities. We will definitely recommend this property and hope we can come back! Thank you

Perfect spot for a getaway. Loved ever minute. Rained much of the time and it was still beautiful. I did wish there was a cover over the porch so we could sit out and watch the rain and not get wet! It was an amazing place that we can't wait to return! Very cute decor and paintings! The outdoor area with super comfy swings....Absolutely It was so awesome!

This place is owned by a lovely older couple (with the energy of someone in their 30s!). Very friendly and welcoming. The whole property is very peaceful and there are lots of things to do. I stayed in the Cedar cabin which is roughly 14 x 20 inside (with a covered porch outside). Everything you will need is there, and if not, Ms Jan and Mr Jim were more than willing to accommodate. Great experience.

We typically try to stay in more rural settings. For being in a more congested area, the place was very quiet and surprisingly private. Keep in mind, it does back up to the pizza place parking lot - but hey! You can walk to the restaurant. The king size memory foam mattress was very comfy. Well appointed kitchen and bathroom. Even has a washer and dryer. We'd stay there again in a heart beat!

Beautiful cozy cabin atop private property offering beautiful views of the Ohio River by day and bright stars on a clear night. If you get a foggy sunrise along the river valley followed by the most sunny day ever, take a scenic drive along the river to Augusta, KY for a foodie's paradise and then to Vanceburg, and so on because there's so many wonderful small Kentucky river towns full of history and adventures awaiting for you. Slow down for the deer and chipmunks!!! Enjoy your visit to this beautiful and peaceful cabin.
