Condo vacation rentals in West Suffolk District

As this was my first ever Airbnb, I didn't know what to expect. My experience of B and B places ( and owners) caused a preference to stay in hotels where an acceptable minimum standard could be taken for granted. However, my stay at The Little Thatch was a very pleasant experience, being on the edge of the village on a small quiet road, surrounded by open countryside. My stay was enhanced by the security and comfort provided by this small flat, particularly the very comfortable mattress provided in the upstairs bedroom which lulled me into a deep sleep. The attentive hosts, Beatrice Louisa and Rob were really helpful and certainly proactive in ensuring that I didn't experience any problems during my stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at St John’s Mews. Perfect position for walking into Bury St Edmund’s centre. The apartment was very neat, tidy and clean. Communication was very good and helpful when it was needed. Would definitely stay again.

Loved staying in Brett’s apartment. It was so close to everything and a lovely part of town. It was a unique place to stay with Brett’s distinctive style adding to the interest. Couldn’t recommend the apartment highly enough, and Brett was a truly great host, responding immediately if I had any queries. Will definitely be back! Thanks Brett.

A friend had already used Stephen's lodge when visiting me in a nearby Village. So I didn't hesitate booking my parents a nights stay here when they came to visit. Stephen is excellent at staying in touch before hand, & arranges a little welcome package of bread, milk etc & even contacts you beforehand to find out guests preferences (nice touch!) Really lovely setting, clean & tidy with everything needed for an overnights stay. Beautifully kept garden for my parents to sit outside, on a little patio enjoying a wine or two, looking out onto a peaceful setting. Wouldn't hesitate to book again for friends & family when they come to visit us!

Thank you Becky for a lovely stay! We absolutely loved the location and everything about the cottage. The cottage was spotless and very cosy/comfortable. Becky was on hand to answer any questions we had and quick to respond. Overall we would highly recommend anyone to come here as the location is perfect, 5 minute walk into the town centre and close to the racecourse/station. We thoroughly enjoyed being able to see the racehorses and the relaxed atmosphere of staying by the stables and horses. Staying on a working stables was an experience we won’t forget. The little touches of artwork and pictures all added to the horse racing experience. Top quality The White Company bedding added to the luxury feeling of the property. Brilliant facilities and amazing shower! We loved our experience here and it made our race weekend! We can’t wait to come back.

This flat is right in the heart of Bury St. Edmund. It is right across from the Abbey ruins and park with spectacular view of the cathedral. It is a walkable distance from great restaraunts, brewery, grocery, shopping and local market, which is held Wednesday and Saturday. The flat is on the second story of a 2 story building. The flat is two stories with quiet bedrooms and lovely bathrooms on the second floor. The kitchen had everything that we needed for cooking! We highly recommend the Mowgli restaurant!

We loved our stay at Chris's apartment! Its in a beautiful part of Norwich, lots of great places nearby and walkable to the city centre. Everything was super comfortable, the place is really cool from a design perspective and appreciated a full stocked kitchen (spices, oil etc) for cooking. A note that the light gets into the bedroom pretty easily but I always travel with an eye mask and ear plugs - so would recommend that if you're a sensitive sleeper.

The annex was easy to find with clear, helpful instructions. The surroundings were lovely and all the facilities were just as described, absolutely great. We had a fantastic nights sleep ready for our onward journey. There were lovely little extras waiting for us on arrival and one beautiful dog, Mabel who came over for cuddles. Thank you for letting us stay.

Marisol’s spacious annex apartment was a great place to stay whilst I was in Norwich for just one night. It’s very close to the hospital and UEA. Marisol was a lovely host and the check-in/out process was super easy.

The place was very spacious, clean, and accomodating. The bed was comfortable, the shower had nice water pressure, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The seating was great and we were able to accommodate guests for dinner and a nice visit. It is within walking distance to just about anything you would want to go and do. It feels like you are in the middle of town but it is quiet.

Great place in prime location on the seafront . Place was bigger than expected and had everything you could need and more for a week’s stay . Really clean and tidy . Plenty of treats left for us and the dogs . Overall really happy with apartment and location . Will definitely stay again .

A complete gem of an Airbnb and a delightful, helpful host in Fiona. The Annex is so spacious and comfortable. Fun days out exploring beautiful medieval local sites then back for drinks on the patio and a tasty supper from the amazing farm shop nearby. Our dog loved it too whizzing through the orchard fetching balls. We didn’t want to leave. Just fantastic.

Excellent communication. Clear instructions. Claire met us on our arrival and showed us around, the apartment is well appointed and spacious. Claire provided everything a guest could possibly need. The fridge was stocked with milk, juice, water, milk and soft drinks. There was tea, coffee, bread, butter selection of jams and croissants. There was a plentiful supply of hot water. Attleburgh and East Harling are closeby with plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs to choose from. We enjoyed our 3 night stay - thank you.

The flat is in a lovely, peaceful corner of central Cambridge next to the Botanic Gardens and at walking distance into town. The hosts were friendly, welcoming and responsive. The small flat is laid out over two storeys with a spacious, tastefully arranged bedroom. Would use again.

Our stay at Pond View was peaceful and relaxing. Access to the site was easy but secure. The accommodation was just right. And Christopher was a great host.

The apartment is cosy, clean and comfortable & thought has been given to what is provided. The hosts gave clear instruction with photos for how to access the property and inside about how the hot water and other things worked. it was very hot when we arrived and Mags and Laurence responded almost immediately when we requested a fan. One was delivered quickly by their cleaner and it made a huge difference to the comfort of our stay. Lovely hot shower.

Lovely clean apartment thoughtfully decorated and fitted out above the historic and charming Blue Ball Inn. A modern bathroom attached to each of the 2 sizeable bedrooms, fab views across the peaceful rural countryside, friendly staff in the pub which had a convivial atmosphere and terrific food. Five stars all round.

Julie always responded to any questions within 30 minutes. She was approachable, welcoming and friendly. We would not hesitate to stay in Julie's apartment again.
