Matt and Jody were next door and accessible which made us feel an extra level of comfort! We all would love to return with our respective families and return again for another girls trip! We traveled 4 hours to Michigan for a friend’s wedding—a special but naturally stressful time. Our original Airbnb had a power outage we weren’t warned about& upon arrival left us w/o electricity, heat, hot water, or communication(no cell service). We urgently needed a new place on extremely short notice, we were lucky to find this gem. The host was quick to respond, honest,& supportive w/o overpromising. Coming from a dark, cold house to this well-equipped home on a beautiful 5acre property felt like stepping into a dream. Finding this home felt like a massive relief. It was perfect for our group to relax, cook, fish, &enjoy quality time. We had bonfires, cooked meals,& made unforgettable memories. Though it was peaceful &surrounded by nature, we still had great phone service& could easily get deliveries, &we did not need to worry about disturbing neighbors. This home exceeded every expectation, on a scale of 0–10, this place is a 100. Come relax, recharge, & reconnect at this Airbnb.

The Blue Cottage is an excellent stay. The view is tremendous, sunsets are beautiful and the area is peaceful. The cabin is simple, clean and comfortable. I really appreciated the decor and vaulted roof, it feels like a step back in time. Sharon was great, very welcoming and communicative. Check in and check out were easy. The surrounding areas of Holland and Grand Haven are awesome to explore with some great restaurants. A great experience and we hope to be back soon!

This house is simply awesome! Makes a week at the lake easy and fun to have a private beach steps away, and a killer setup to enjoy nightly sunsets. Well-equipped kitchen and spacious for family fun. Also a great location for outings - easy to get to both grand haven and holland as well as tons of local parks and beaches. A special find!

very responsive host, place was super cozy and clean. everything was the way as listed and worked. it's a bit secluded but you're only 10-15 minutes from places to eat or the market.
