Wonderful cosy home that is close enough to town to make exploring easy, while remote enough to be a quiet and peaceful place to relax.

We enjoyed our stay immensely 😊👍🏼 The place was cosy and clean with everything we needed. Smart TV allowed us to stream from our phone which was very convenient. There was even a selection of DVDS and an Xbox if you like gaming. Very, very comfortable beds with electric blankets was much appreciated! Magnus was a fantastic host, and was very responsive and gave easy to follow instructions 😊. Hope to stay here again next time we visit Launceston. Fully recommend!

A really classy air bnb. Many look good in pictures but Cheryl’s place is even better than the pictures. The bathroom is luxe, the lounge room is massive & everything is very thoughtfully & tastefully decorated. The pillows are divine. There’s everything you need here, including a heater that heats the spaces very quickly tucked away with beautiful views of the courtyard & its maple trees. Highly recommend

Jan's place is lovely. Spotlessly clean and Jan is a great host. Super comfy bed, lovely linen and nicely decorated. I really enjoyed my stay. Great location, very quiet. Close to shops and supermarkets. I look forward to staying at Jan's place again when I am next in Ulverstone.

Loved this place from the moment I walked in - no keys to worry about, a beautiful scent as I walked in, the most amazing mattress, beautiful linen and pillows on the bed, a wonderful bathroom with underfloor heating a great size bath to soak in, a huge rain head shower plus a small one too, a full oven ( I didn’t use !) a dishwasher, huge fridge and everything else you could possibly need. It was a very private space, right in the centre of the CBD but peaceful and quiet too, easy walking anywhere and a specialty cake shop just a few steps away ! Elizabeth and Rodney were very responsive and their place was spotless 🌟I loved my 3 night stay and will be back again soon.

Loved everything. Highly recommend for a quiet time away but only 5min walk to everything , main shopping area, great pubs and eateries and waterfront. Apartment had absolutely everything you need just like a home away from home.

The location was peaceful and convenient, making it the perfect base for our trip. Every detail was carefully considered, and we truly felt at home during our stay. Communication was easy and warm, and check-in/check-out was seamless. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality Airbnb experience. A lovely warm historical bolthole from which to explore Strahan and surrounds. On the other side of the bay to the township and right near the historic railway. Beautiful sunsets over the bay. Also highly recommend the Regatta Point tavern (very short walk) for dinner and Gordon River Cruises for an unforgettable day of history and hospitality on pristine waters. A great long weekend - thank you!

Blackwood Cottage is very special. It met all our families needs by providing all the amenities that we needed. It’s location with beautiful gardens to explore and wildlife saying hello at night. The wood fire stove was a treat as we don’t t get to light one up at home. Thank you Blackwood cottage, for being our home away from home.

Great location to base yourself to explore the Tarkine region and coastline. House and property was a breath of fresh air. Felt truely relaxed and enjoyed the wood fire, relaxing outside on the many seating options, and loved the craftsmanship of the house. Plenty of sleeping options for a large family. Will stay here again if ever visit the Tarkine again.

Amazing stay over Joe’s place! The house is soooooo beautiful and we won’t want to leave! Very beautiful place and would definitely love to visit again! Highly recommended to everyone!
