Pet-friendly vacation rentals in West Alton

Owners were helpful and kind letting us check in early. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We were very comfortable there with our dog. Close to everything. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

The home was beautiful. It fit us nicely. Mitchell was super responsive and was even able to accommodate us for an extra night when our plans changed. We will definitely look to stay at the property again the next time we are in town.

A great place for my little family to stay within a few minutes from the zoo! It was nice to have a place close to everything we wanted to see and do but to also be tucked back out of the way at the same time. The area was very nice and the place was even better than described. Frank has a nice place nestled in a nice quiet little neighborhood. There is a park across the road that was convenient with having a kid. Will stay again next time we’re in STL.

Our family (kids, baby, and grandparents) LOVED our stay at Sara and Dan’s house. The kids especially loved playing in the backyard and the rest of us were so impressed by the safe, beautiful neighborhood. We came with a busy agenda, as the house is an easy drive to many great places in St Louis. We wish we would have had more time to walk to the nearby coffee shops and restaurants that Sara recommended!

Cozy home in a charming neighborhood … Fabulous hosts!!

Me and my friends booked this space for a concert that was in town. We are from out of town and wanted to enjoy St Louis. We wanted something different, something out of the box. This space was just that and soooooo much more. With a rare blend of unique, comfort, and quirky. It set the bar really high for the rest of the vacation. We are the type to stay on the go and not be in our room when on vacation. This place challenged that as it was so hard to leave sometimes. Host is just as amazing. Im not the best with modern tech and stuff of that nature. The host went out of their way to help. The host was accommodating in more ways than one. They provided some really solid recommendations for the city upon our request. Thats another thing, the host is probably one of the nicest, most responsive, helpful host Ive ever had. "The Dawg House" as we called it is now a staple in our travel plans to St. Louis. Do yourself a favor and book this place now before you miss out.

This Air b&b offered a beautiful weekend of much needed rest and relaxation. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, with easy access and the comforts of home. We enjoyed coffee and waffles for breakfast! Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice, relaxing place for you and your family to enjoy while you are in the area!

My family and I LOVED are short stay at this beautiful location! It was extremely peaceful and just as it was stated in the description. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We cannot wait to stay here again.

We vacationed in many condos and homes. Mostly off an alternative site. This place was in the tops. Great neighborhood the Hills. Fantastic restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance. Would stay here again if ever in the area again.

I can’t say enough good things about Our Fathers Farm! We loved every second we spent there. Feeding the animals, relaxing by the fire, fishing, and just exploring the whole property. The personal touches Steve has made to the place are incredible, we felt like we knew him and his family before leaving even though we only spent 5 min with him. Can’t wait to go back!

This place is just so thoroughly thought out!! From the common spaces to the suite itself. It had absolutely everything you could ask for and kept all kids f all ages entertained while we were there. Next St. Louis visit will be sure to be staying there again! It’s such a cute space even if you wanted to have an even there. Well thought out. Great job!!

the place was very clean and secluded. could barely hear any noise from the city. had a slight issue with the wi-fi but the outlets just needed to be reset.

This place was a very fun and unique stay. The converted school house has interesting history. The apartment is very spacious and very clean. The beds are comfortable. The coffee shop downstairs has a very fun and funky atmosphere and great drinks. The available homemade pastries and quiche looked amazing too! It’s conveniently located to shopping and sightseeing. Highly recommend staying here if you get the opportunity. The one downside i can come up with is there are 3 locked doors to go through in order to get into the apartment upstairs. Not a big deal though.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, offering clear check-in instructions. The bed was super comfortable, the amenities were top-notch (loved the coffee station and fast Wi-Fi), and the location was perfect—quiet, safe, and close to everything I needed. Beautiful restoration of a historic building! It was cozy and well-appointed, but uncluttered. Location was perfect for our needs (exploring the area for a possible relocation from another state). In a historic home, there aren’t as many power outlets as some newer home but the host(s) has strategically placed extension cords in a few locations which was really handy (eg. plugging in cell phone chargers by the bed). Great place, great host, great location, and great experience. Highly recommended!
