In 2023, the summerhouse was completely renovated, as well as expanded with an activity room and heating source. The cottage is not rented out for parties.

All North Frisian islands (Sylt, Föhr, Amrum) and Halligen (e.g. Hooge, Gröde, Langeness) as well as the islands of Pellworm and Römö in Denmark are easily accessible by day trip by car, train or boat.

The North Sea, the ferry dock to the islands and Halligen, the train for excursions to Sylt or DK, restaurants and shops can be reached by foot in a few minutes.

For any day trips to Sylt, there is the car train on the one hand, which runs from Niebüll or the passenger train that departs from Klanxbüll. Föhr and Amrum can be reached from Dagebüll "The gate to the islands" by ferry. The Halligen can also be reached from there.
