Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Wells

We loved this home, it’s in a great location but off the beaten path. Private and peaceful with a wonderful fire pit that we enjoyed almost nightly. We traveled with my son and his fiancé so the two suites one up and one down gave us perfect personal space. There was so much to do nearby with great restaurants and shops. Emily gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant called “Earth at Hidden Pond” which was amazing for our anniversary celebration. We could not have asked for anything more, absolutely amazing!

Susan was a truly wonderful host, so gracious, thoughtful and kind. Her home was perfect for my husband and 2 young boys. House was immaculately clean. Beds were super comfy, the 2nd floor rooms had plenty of space and my boys loved the bed nooks on the 3rd floor. We enjoyed the porch chairs at night. Beautiful beach was nearby, and Susan had all the beach items ready for us to enjoy. Lots of excellent dining options within a 5-10min drive and close to Ogunquit downtown. Susan left a book of local recommendations which included all the menus from local restaurants which we found helpful in deciding where to dine. Susan shared excellent recommendations on beaches and local activities and knows the area well. Location was perfect. We would love to come back, thank you so much Susan!

We instantly felt at home! Everything we needed was there, including things that I often bring with me because they aren't usually provided. Erin has set up this house the way you would if you lived there yourself--extra pillows, blankets, bathroom and kitchen towels, kitchen and laundry detergent. Basic spices, coffee and tea, sugar and creamer, every kitchen gadget and utensil. Bath products, night lights, beach chairs and towels. Even a bluetooth speaker and use of their Netflix account! All we needed were a few groceries and some sunshine to enjoy the outdoor spaces and seasonal game room. The house is spacious and charming! Their check-in and check-out methods are easy and they left ample info on how things work in the house and local restaurant and activity recommendations. This is a great location and home. I almost wish we had brought the kids...

Wonderful host. Friendly, helpful and responsive. The house is spectacular, views are stunning. Large open plan kitchen, dining and seating area is perfect to relax with family and enjoy the views across the ocean. I would highly recommend and will be returning. Thank you!

Wonderful hideaway minutes from anywhere on Maine coast. Very-well equipped for cooking at home and relaxing outside in the sun. We used both the grill and the kitchen. Plenty of bed space and living area for 4 adults. Great spot for our doggie as well, with multiple nearby areas to explore. Blair was a great host with a charming little spot in Kennebunkport. Highly recommend.

My family and I had a serene experience staying here. Although the weather was mostly rainy or cloudy, we loved the lake location and maximized the indoor, outdoor, and nearby activity options. The hosts were so responsive, regardless of the question, and made this a truly delightful visit. This was my parents’ first Airbnb experience and it set the bar higher than I could have imagined! My family and I are already talking about coming back!!

Steven was quick to respond, the Saco river farm house was very cozy, clean well furnished with little amenities like phone chargers, coffee, fire pit, and even a mosquito zapper! it’s the little things for me! The house is well maintained inside and out, everything worked great from stove to dishwasher, wall outlets and plumbing was smooth, great atmosphere inside and out, beautiful decor super comfortable beds, i highly recommend this house to all who are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle for a weekend, great location plenty to do in the surrounding areas!

Dan was great. We happened to meet him upon arriving and he is a great person. The house was very lovely and perfect for our needs. Comfy bed and furniture. Nice towels. Quiet except gulls in the morning. 10/10 would stay again.

The loft was as nice as the photos. It was very clean and had everything you need. From towels to makeup wipes & tooth brushes. Beds & pillows were comfy. Great location. Walk right out to shops, restaurants and the harbor. Very safe area. I would highly recommend if going to Newburyport.

My dog and I had a great time here and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. We found lots of dog-friendly hikes and nature reserves nearby within 15-30 minutes . Otherwise we enjoyed the peaceful yard and small brook on the property. Beautiful and thoughtful rental, with very friendly hosts.

The 1 bedroom was exactly as described and pictured. A fun, small, well appointed roost above bustling Congress St. Check in/out was seamless and we had no difficulties connecting with Michelle. In addition to staying in a centrally-located pad, Michelle provided us with a wonderfully detailed list of restaurant recommendations and local trip destinations. We found ourselves referring to it frequently and it led us to some super meals and a fun bike ride around Peaks Island. Her parking guidance was also helpful - we ended up parking on the street without incident or ticket. While not a particular challenge for us, it's useful to know that it's quite a hike up the three floors of stairs to get to the apartment. In all, glad to have stayed there and a great spot from which to explore all that Portland has to offer.

This was a great, comfortable space and convenient to everywhere we wanted to drive in Portland! Barry’s instructions were clear and easy to understand, which made finding the house and getting in easy. There were also little details that we valued, like leaving out bowls for our pup travel companion :)

My fiancé and I had a great time staying at this Airbnb. It was clean, cozy, and relaxing space. It was in a nice quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the beach and 2 lighthouses, but still had great access to the old port and other parts of Cape Elizabeth.

Carolyn was a warm and generous host. She left beers chips eggs and half and half for our use amongst other things. I have never experienced that before. It was a beautiful touch. Her place is cosy warm and comfortable. It’s better than the pic to be honest. Totally recommend it.

Absolutely loved the place! More than we expected! So spacious and accommodating. Plenty of room and amenities. Perfect for my work days before exploring the city. Location is perfect for all things Portland and even took a quick trip to Freeport!

My husband and I stayed here for our baby moon and it was perfect! The location couldn’t have been better and the airbnb was stocked with everything we needed. Nick was super responsive and made sure our stay was wonderful. We will absolutely be back!!!

This was the perfect house for a girls trip! It was a quick drive to shops and restaurants and a short walk to the Echo Lake trails. The house was beautiful and exactly as described/pictured. Amalie was super responsive to questions and I would absolutely stay here again!

Matt’s place was welcoming comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. Matt was always responsive within a few minutes. Matt’s place was conveniently located to Portland with restaurants and shops. Spent A day at Cape Elizabeth, Peaks island and dinner in Naple….. previous visit was to Boothbay Botanical garden Really a great state to visit!!!
