Many varieties of birds come to perch on the branches & feast at the bird feeders just outside the kitchen nook window. A sure Bird lovers Delight. Relish in an occasional backyard sunset from the back Patio or Spa, or unwind at the 27” Fire Pit, as you share stories, and enjoy a glass of sweet tea or wine. So many charming features to this sweet Nest.

Shasta Ski Park, swimming holes, and rainbow trout fly fishing. Vintage-style bikes are available for cruising around town.

Dunsmuir charmer located just across the Sacramento River. Just a short walking distance away you'll find Dunsmuir's best eclectic restaurants, coffee shops, and the local brewery. Whether you spend the day hiking to the peak of Castle Crags or snowboarding at Mt. Shasta Ski Park, you'll come home to a cozy wood-burning stove. The PCT is an 8 minute drive, Mt. Shasta City is a 8-10 min drive, and McCloud/Mt. Shasta Ski Park is just a 20-25 beautiful drive.

Our yurt is a place of tranquility & fun in the round. It’s a perfect for a romantic getaway or family vacation. You have private river access located next to the Strawhouse Cafe’ across the street where you can swim, fish, relax, and/or hike nearby trails. The kitchen has a mini fridge, air fryer, toaster oven, induction plate & microwave and is stocked with cups, plates, silverware, etc. Charcoal BBQ is in share area outside.
