Barry's place is so beautiful and peaceful that we didn't want to leave. My mom said it's a haven for the visitors and we felt we were welcomed with a beautiful home with amazing mountain view, plenty of space and amenities to relax with family. Barry was very responsive and he provided us with detailed instructions and also checking with us during our stay. We'll definitely come back to visit again!

Everything was amazing from the house to the view to all the little games that are inside my fiancée and I had a wonderful time and hope to stay again in the future!

Our stay at this cabin was nothing short of magical. Nestled in a peaceful, scenic location, it was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the attention to detail—from the cozy décor to the spotless cleanliness and thoughtful touches throughout. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying coffee on the deck with breathtaking views was a highlight of our mornings. The kitchen was fully equipped and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Whether you’re looking to relax, hike, explore, or simply unplug, this cabin has it all. The hosts were incredibly responsive and kind, making the whole experience smooth and welcoming. We can’t wait to return!

The cabin was amazing. Has everything you need. Very clean and the hot tub amazing. Kate was quick to respond to questions or comments. Loved seeing the bears, we saw 5 in the 3 nights we stayed there. I highly recommend staying there, you won’t be disappointed!

Great location, close enough to everything but far enough to be able to get away and relax. We even had a bear come up to the front door on the first day!

This cabin was a perfect for our family of 5. We booked last minute which could have been a challenge for some hosts, but Nicole was quick to respond and set us up for the week. The cabin itself is extremely clean and comfortable with all amenities you’d want for a week away. The setting is secluded and very peaceful with an awesome view. Nicole is an A+ host with great communication and awesome recommendations for exploring the surrounding region. This place was a great base for us - wake up in a peaceful mountain retreat, and then each day choose our adventure: take a short-ish drive into the primary nearby commerce areas and all they have to offer, or avoid the hustle/bustle and take a short-ish drive to the many beautiful surrounding natural sites. We highly recommend Nicole’s cabin and would 100% stay here again if/when we return to the Smokies! PS for those so inclined: the nearby Red Jasper Beer Garden has to be among the most pleasant fam-friendly watering holes anywhere.

We had a great time at kittens cabin. the scenery was beautiful the drive up the mountain was easier to get to than some other places we have stayed at, that was at the top of a mountain. The host was very responsive, friendly and always helpful. The cabin was neat and clean and we would stay again. The food in Wears Valley town is so delicious, cute stores and lots to do, kid friendly. The mountain coasters are not far away from the cabin. The game room was fun! & we did see 2 bears! The pool was nice, but very crowded.

Perfect place located just outside of town, but with access to everything within 10-15 min. We also loved that Jazmin was responsive & able to accommodate an early check-in. Perfect place for two families, plus our pup!

We stayed for a long weekend and even with it being a short trip we had one of the best trips we have ever taken. Lem was very communicative and had no problem approving my dog to come as well. First of all, the property that the units are on is gorgeous. We spent the first night grilling burgers and hanging out with their very friendly horse! Lem gave us lots of great recommendations for trails in the area. There are some shops and a coffee shop within walking distance of the property, we loved walking there in the morning. It’s all very conveniently located between both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Unit was spotless as were the amenities in the main building. Can’t think of one slightly negative thing to say!! Lem was also helpful with the check out process and lent us a vacuum to clean up from our dog before we left. Every question we had during our stay Lem was very quick to respond and resolve it. We had an amazing time and want to come back here! Thank you Lem & family!!

Wonderful stay ! We didn’t not want to leave, it rained when we were there but it made the experience even better. There is a lot to do at the cabin with the arcade games, pool table and hot tub. The surroundings are beautiful with the sound of a creek near by. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

We absolutely loved our stay here at the Owl Barn Cabin. It was in a peaceful, beautiful and private location, and the cabin itself was furnished beautifully with everything needed to make the stay enjoyable. Our host went above and beyond to make our stay a good one. Would highly recommend this place.

Very well stocked and established cabin. Easy check in/ checkout process with clear instructions communicated early. Kitchen and cabin adequately equipped. Very prepared for furry friends. Made us feel welcomed and able to get right into a relaxing weekend.

Beautiful views, feeling of seclusion, and a cozy cabin for 2! Fantastic and very responsive host. Feel confident booking this cabin, it lives up to the pictures and goes beyond when you actually sit in the hot tub looking out at the view. Comfortable furnishings, indoor jacuzzi tub too, nice to have options. A few tiny things that are less than perfect here and there, none that prevent a full recommendation to book. The most accurate rating is 4.5-4.8 but given the choice was 4 or 5 stars, we’ll go with 5.

Been traveling to this area regularly for over 15 years and this is definitely the best cabin we have stayed at. The view of the sunrise over the Smokies is incredible. Beautiful cabin inside and out. Large rooms with comfortable beds and everything you truly need. The closed in back room was fun to just sit with coffee and enjoy the views or play pool with the family. If I lived in Tennessee, I could easily live in this cabin 24/7. We saw more bears and bunnies around the cabin than in Cade's Cove. Sure, you will find little things that might frustrate you, but then think about where you are. You are in the Great Smoky Mountains!

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was beautiful, very clean and well stocked. We particularly loved spending time on the porch, and my daughter loved one of the upstairs rooms with a bed built in under the window. It was a great place to read in a rainy day. The cabin wasn’t far from town but it felt like a world away. There’s plenty of wildlife around the cabin; we even saw a bear on the property. Sylvia was wonderful to work with. She responded very quickly when we had a question. We would absolutely stay at Sylvia’s home again, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

We had a great stay and loved the cabin. We have stayed in Wears Valley before and this was another great place and quick access to the Smokies. We would highly recommend a stay here. The upstairs area is like being in a huge treehouse. Loved the view and peaceful rest. Checkout was the best we have experienced. Also lots of areas to hang out in, rooms and porches.

My wife and her parents stayed 4 nights at up the creek cabin and it was nothing short of supremely relaxing. If we are to take another trip to the area this will be the first place I look to stay at. The sound of running water, the beautiful green canopy, and cool tempatures provided by the greenery made this a truly peaceful stay.

This is the perfect little cabin! We traveled with our kids and they loved having access to a pool and also the duck pond. I was pleasantly surprised with how close to Pigeon Forge we actually were, and for coffee lovers The Heavenly Bean is the cutest coffee shop only about 5 min away. Kimberly was an amazing host, everything was so clean and she gave such easy instructions. We can’t recommend enough :)

Such a wonderful place! My Family really enjoyed this home for our long weekend stay! The kids absolutely loved the backyard. It feels very private because it’s nestled in the trees. The home was spotless! We will definitely be back if we ever come to the area again.

The view of the mountains was absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunrise, and being surrounded by the quiet of the forest made it feel like a true escape. The cabin itself was spotless, beautifully designed, and felt luxurious yet cozy. We loved how peaceful and private it was—perfect for relaxing and recharging. Highly recommend if you're looking for a serene retreat.

Beautiful views, beautiful home, beautiful stay! This mountain home was as advertised and better. Quiet and peaceful but within reach of all of the recreation one could ask for as well as the local dining and attractions. We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend this wonderful property!
