Huckleberry Hollow is a special spot surrounded by clear water, tall trees, sand beaches, woods trails, and- you guessed it... huckleberries! This is a beautiful and rustic camp right on the shores of Pleasant River Lake-- one of the most pristine places in Maine that's somehow still accessible and only lightly developed. A great place to make happy memories for campers of all ages!

Relaxing rustic cabin on the lake 25 feet from the shore. The fishing is some of the best in the state! Explore the Grand Falls Flowage which adjoins other lakes. The cabin has all amenities, a full kitchen, full bathroom, two bedrooms, a Livingroom, a screened in porch and deck. Along with free use of two kayaks, pedal boat and paddle board. There is large outdoor fireplace, a grill/flat top griddle. We do have dogs so if you have dog allergies then we do not recommend this rental for you.

The place was very comfortable and the entire family enjoyed relaxing in the house and on the deck. They also had lots of fun kayaking, swimming and fishing at the lake. Candice is a superb host. Very quick to respond if you have questions. It was such a pleasure staying at her place.

"Small Wonder Camp" on East Grand Lake

Our time at Small Wonder was nothing short of magical. This was a 25+ year trip in the making to Maine and we were so please. Traci has a beautiful camp that has all the amenities of home and beyond. It was well stocked with all that we needed and more and the property was better than any photo shown. We enjoyed the remoteness and the sense of a community within the area and would love to spend more time here and at East Grand Lake in the future. Thank you from our family to yours! My mother and I loved our stay at Tugwassa. When we weren’t exploring the nearby area, we spent our time looking out at the pond, enjoying the fire, and reading Mrs. Osborne’s poems! The cottage is beautifully decorated with a well-equipped kitchen. I loved taking the time to appreciate all the artwork and ornaments. Anne is very welcoming and hospitable - she has many great local recommendations and is nearby if you need any help. I’m looking forward to coming back again!

Little camp was perfect for me- would be great for a couple with a 1-2 young kids or just the couple. Lake is pristine. Mark was very responsive to a couple issues I had and fixed them right away. Would stay again FYI the water access is down very steep hill- just be aware. No problem for most people (or me). Just didn't see it in the listings.

This was a relaxing down-east Maine getaway location. The spacious deck overlooks a large, but quiet lake with sunset views. The cottage is new with everything you need to relax. It was nicely appointed with two bedrooms and additional accommodations downstairs that would be great for kids. The kitchen is well-appointed and we christened the new grill outside for a steak dinner. Mary is right next door for anything you need. We’ll stay here again if we are in the area.
