Approx. 10 miles/25 min. from University of Notre Dame & Amish country, this rural apartment is our finished basement that we reside over. With own private walk-out entrance from back of the house, unit includes 2 BR's (one very small), full bath (shower, no tub), kitchen/family room & laundry room. Once outside, you're on 60 acres of rolling pasture + 17 acres of forest. There are cattle, sheep, chickens & dogs (+ a couple of barn cats & seasonal pigs.). Plenty of space for hiking & exploring.

This TINY studio is located in an old 4-unit apartment house, so there is some in-house sound transfer. Our neighborhood is usually quiet, but not always. Shelly makes you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door! The home is beautifully decorated, and it’s fun to check out all of the pictures and albums. The room was perfect…the bed was comfortable and it was peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was great! We really enjoyed being in her home versus a hotel plus it’s in a great location and close to all sorts of restaurants. We are so thankful she was willing to share her home with us!

If you're looking for a private, relaxing, peaceful place, this is it! This cute little house was very clean and stocked with everything you might need. We came here for our wedding anniversary and visited New Buffalo, South Haven, and Saugatuck. The views of the country side are serene and getting to visit the horses was perfect. Denise was very responsive and a perfect host. We love visiting this part of Michigan and can't wait to come back and visit this little piece of heaven.

I don't think it is humanly possible to be able to improve on the accomodations I received at Myron and Dana's. I was perfectly comfortable and content and very satisfied with my stay. Beyond that, the neighbourhood is very nice as well. Thank-you Myron and Dana for your hospitality.

This was the second time that I’ve stayed here. Beautiful, comfortable home with lots of little extras to help make the stay more comfortable. Loved the kayaks, paddle boards and other water toys. A couple from our group make use of the fishing poles that were provided. There’s a wonderful fire pit not far from the water. I’ve always had very enjoyable stays here.

I loved my two nights here in South Bend. Babina’s place is ideal if you’re going to a show at the nearby theatre and she was very helpful and communicated well. Her house was spotless and the bed was comfortable. I’ll request to stay here if I return to South Bend.
