We had a wonderful time staying at Wietske's place! The apartment had everything we needed for ourselves and even things we'd forgotten about but ended up needing for our toddler (like a high chair)! The apartment is tastefully designed, everything feels modern and high-end, and the beds were super comfy. It is centrally located, right in the middle of the Midstraat and super walkable to everything, yet it is very quiet - we never heard anything from neighbors our outside. Wietske was very responsive and checked in on us a couple of time to ensure we had what we needed. She also notified us that there were games in the dresser in the kitchen, including lots of toys and puzzles that our son enjoyed. Thank you Wietske - we would happily stay at your place again! :)

We really enjoyed the hospitality and the beautiful accommodation. All rooms were very spacious. In the kitchen, everything was really present. Jan-Warner's apartment in one word: great! A bright, light-flooded, tasteful, modern, furnished apartment. Of course, everything was clean and functional. For example, we have never found such a well-equipped kitchen in a vacation apartment. The whole apartment is furnished with a sense of detail. But the location surpasses everything! Right on the Sneeker Meer, on the corner of Princess Margret Canal and Starter Eiland. And in the apartment or on the terrace, an unobstructed view of the colorful hustle and bustle of the sailing and motor boats, as well as the commercial shipping. Even in bad weather, it was never boring with this view. Beautiful tours through the Frisian villages and lakes are possible by bike in the immediate vicinity. Sneek itself is just 15-20 minutes by bike.

It was really a lovely cottage, I am 19 myself and I was there with my boyfriend so it was nice to have that independence. The only thing that was a little more difficult was the lights. We didn't quite understand that and we struggled with it for a while. Personally, I also missed some bigger mugs, they were quite small. But for the rest, great. definitely recommended. Also very sweet people :)
