We had a truly wonderful stay at Sonya’s place! The studio is cozy, clean, and full of thoughtful details that made our time in Waikiki especially enjoyable. One of the highlights was the beautiful mountain view from the windows — a peaceful and refreshing sight every day. The apartment is well-equipped with lots of useful items for guests, including beach chairs, beach towels, and many other things that made our stay more comfortable. You can really feel the care and attention Sonya has put into making the space welcoming and practical. Check-in and check-out were very smooth and easy, and Sonya’s communication was warm, clear, and personal throughout. She’s a truly attentive and thoughtful host. The bed was soft and very comfortable, and the studio itself has a peaceful, homey feel — perfect for relaxing after a day of adventures. We’d happily stay here again and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable, clean, and well-located spot in Waikiki.

Everything about this stay was wonderful! Loved the aesthetic of the whole apartment. The location was wonderful, very close to everything we wanted to do in Waikiki. It was close to Beach access, close to shopping centers and close to lots of good food. I especially like the fact that it was towards the more secluded end of Waikiki and not a lot of tourists were in the area. The kitchen convection oven was really great to use and the French press coffee was phenomenal every morning. There was great instructions on the side, coming from a beginner who had never made a French press coffee before. Overall, we had a very wonderful stay

This was our first visit to Honolulu and staying at Kurts place made our stay that much more special. Allowing us to have an early check in when we realised we had to be off our cruise ship very early that morning made our first day much easier. The apartment has stunning views of Waikiki - waking up to them each morning was very special. The apartment is across from the zoo where you can see flamingos from the window of the apartment which we loved. The apartment has beach gear provided making days at the beach a breeze and there are plenty of fabulous restaurants nearby. Our favorites were Lulu's Waikiki and Hawaiian Aroma!

Peter's place was perfect for our 5 day stay. You are right on the beach with nothing between you and the ocean. You are on the 12th floor with beyond amazing views of the ocean, sunsets, boats, turtles and we even saw a moon rise the last morning. The beach is one of the most pristine beaches I have ever seen. The water is clear, the sand is thick with absolutely zero seaweed. The beach appeared to be about 1/4 -1/2 mile long which I loved to just walk. The sand was so thick that it was a workout to just walk. Even the wet sand was thick! The beach is quiet with just a handful of folks on it at any time. Be aware that the west side of Oahu is the "poorer" section of the island. There are homeless encampments on the public beaches. Since this is a private gated community with 24/7 security there are no issues with homeless folks. We had a car and did lots of sightseeing during the day on the North, South and East side of Oahu. I came for the beach and it did not disappoint.

A peaceful, beautiful, secure, and remote location not in a high-traffic tourist area. This location requires a rental car to explore any island locations of interest for your trip. The pools and landscaping are well-maintained. Tennis courts are located right on site. The A/C works great, and the king-size bed is comfortable. We noted that the porch and entry lights needed replacement, and even with instructions, we couldn't figure out how to work the TV remote. Some remaining food was left in the cupboards and refrigerator upon our arrival, and the garbage disposal worked off and on. Upkeep and deep cleaning would be beneficial. There were provided beach towels, coolers, and other beach amenities, which made our stay much more enjoyable. The chosen hair dryer works very well. There is a convenient washer/dryer unit in this condo. We knew that we could reach out for anything we needed. Overall, we would gladly stay there again.

Fantastic location if you are wanting a relaxed north shore trip! We were able to walks to sharks cove, sunset beach, pipeline, a pillbox hike, and a food truck area just to name a few! Logged that there’s an outdoor shower for post beach wash off and an in door shower with full sized shampoo, conditioner, and body wash! The back porch was great for hanging out on at night. Overall great location and would stay there again!

I had an amazing time. The view from the window was amazing as well. I never closed the drapes not even once. I made some really cool friends in the building as well and at some of the businesses nearby. People were friendly. This location is situated by several of the city’s bus routes making travel a breeze. This is the perfect location for 1 or 2 people to stay at!! Mahalo. I will stay again!!

We had a wonderful stay in Haleiwa in June 2025. The beach front property is beautiful and is actually larger inside than the photos show. I was worried our pack n play crib wouldn’t fit in the room with the bed but there was enough room. Everything in the house is nicely redone and the beach chairs, surfboards, and kayaks are a nice addition. It is about a 20 minute walk to Haleiwa bowls and coffee in town. Overall, it was the perfect one bedroom for our stay on the north shore.

We had an unforgettable stay ! The location was perfect—just minutes from the beach and tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. Waking up to mountains breezes and birdsong each morning was absolute paradise. The home itself was spotless and beautifully decorated with local touches. The kitchen was well-equipped. The host provided everything we needed—beach chairs, snorkel gear. Communication with the host was excellent—super responsive and helpful with local recommendations. We especially appreciated the personal touches like a welcome note and a list of nearby hidden gems (we discovered a great poke spot because of it!). We felt safe, comfortable.

We loved this place! It was definitely one of the more reasonable cost rentals in the Lanikai neighborhood but it didn’t disappoint. A few things of note: - the appliances are high end KitchenAide and Bosch. The cooktop is a two burner induction that you can put away when not in use. Toaster oven as well. Compact dishwasher and fridge is a one drawer fridge/ one drawer freezer that fits under counter - ample beach towels. Also beach chairs and umbrellas. - the pool was wonderful - less than 10 min walk to Lanikai Beach - do the pillbox hike up the ridge behind you if you want a good workout! We loved our week here. Always planned to cook out on the Weber grill but didn’t end up doing so. The patio was awesome at the end of each day and for morning coffee. Neighborhood was safe. Met the pest control guy and the pool guy while we were here- both really friendly. Would definitely choose this place again.

Brooke’s place was perfect for my partner and I plus daughter and niece. We were able to cook in the kitchen with sharp knives other good kitchen amenities but also appreciated that there were plenty of dining out options very close by. Kailua and adjacent beaches are clean, friendly and beautiful! It felt safe for the teenagers to spend hours on their own. All around great experience with Brooke being very easy to reach and helpful with recommendations for hikes, shops and restaurants.

Great location to keep the family together. Close to great beaches. Private location that felt safe. Host communicated great as well and helped with any issues that came up.

Loved Lindsay’s little cozy spot near the beach! It was great for my family of 5!(all young kids I should say) walking distance to some amazing food trucks and beach views! We will definitely stay there again over a busy hotel :) Very responsive and timely ! Clean! Stocked with everything we needed! And the WiFi was faster than our previous hotels which my working husband was thankful for!

In one word, AMAZING!!! Everything was exceptional, the only negative thing I can say is that now I have to buy a new bed at home because the bed at this place was incredible. The home was exactly as advertised, the views of the ocean were sensational. There were even extras for the beach such as coolers, snorkels, umbrellas, boogie boards and much more. Friendly and responsive hosts were there for us, even before we needed them. As long as you know where you are staying and are prepared for the drive, this place is a premium slice of heaven in heaven. Thank you for being part of our adventure.

Alex was very responsive when I needed help with some things. Taught me a trick with the shower. Reading their rule binder gave me a warm welcome vibe. I recommend if you’re staying around for a quick getaway.

We (2 adults + 2 kids aged 8 and 4) really enjoyed our stay at this very comfortable apartment. It has a lot of personality and everything is above average, from the construction materials to the cutlery and appliances. In spite of the heat, it was nice and cool inside. The environment is also pretty much impossible to beat. The beaches in this area are world class but keiki beach is a stand out and only a short walk across the green. Sunset drinks and dining at the hotel is also a short walk. In short, certainly wouldn't mind going back.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOST!!! I would stay in any of their homes. They were impeccable host. I felt welcomed. I could tell they prepared for my arrival. The hospitality could be felt instantly. I travel frequently for work and this was by far my BEST experience. THANK YOU FOR THE THOUGHTFUL DETAILS THAT WENT INTO MAKING US FEEL SO WELCOMED 😊

Jordan’s place was terrific , spotless and clean , great air con and was stocked with all we needed ,including beach towels and beach gear to use . Has a great time there and wouldn’t hesitate to return again next chance we get

We had a great stay. Everything was as described in the listing. Terra was very responsive and communicated clearly. She even offered a late checkout, which was a big help. This is a great place on the north shore, close to a number of amazing beaches.

Good unit at a great location for a family friendly stay. Construction noise wasn't too bad since I think they are almost done and are the end of the building. This place has everything a family would need including pack and play, high chair, beach chairs, etc.

This place is an absolute slice of heaven, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!! The location is legitimately unbeatable, we woke up and walked out from the lanai to the beach every morning and spent our days completely enjoying the water until sundown. Being able to come and go as we pleased (or needed to) from the beach, within a few seconds, is a dream.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mike and Kate’s place! The location on the North Shore is unbeatable—just a short walk to Turtle Bay, where we spent time on the beach and enjoyed the resort’s great restaurants. It’s also perfectly situated for easy drives to all the other highlights the North Shore has to offer. The condo was spotless, well-equipped, and spacious—perfect for two people. One of our favorite parts was enjoying breakfast each morning on the patio, with peaceful views of the golf course. Mike and Kate were great hosts, and we can’t wait to return!
