Villa vacation rentals in Waadhoeke

Zilverduin is a beautiful house! The location was our favourite feature; within walking distance to a beautiful beach. Leonie was great with giving us tips about the area and things that were handy like rental bikes which got delivered straight to the house - what a luxury! A few things I would have liked to see though, would be: something to handle the mosquitos in the house and higher quality bedding items (the crib for the baby was below expectations for a house at this price point, as were the pillows). Other than that, the host was easy to reach. There is also a caretaker nearby to speak to incase of any emergency. The host also was kind enough to let us check in early and change our dates last minute all to accommodate our ferry times (which I highly suggest booking WELL in advance, ie weeks, if not months!). She also allowed my friends to bring their service dog even though we notified her late. All in all, we had a wonderful and relaxing stay with two families and our kids!

The house was great for 12 people. It was worth a trip to Esonstad to play swing golf and a day trip to Leeuwarden on Saturday.

We rented the house as a group of 16 persons. We enjoyed our stay a lot. The house is beautiful and perfect for a vacation with friends.

Wonderful stay. Beautiful, complete house that is equipped with all comforts. Beautiful, quiet location and yet all amenities are nearby.

What a great place to stay! Eric and Debby are incredibly friendly people and gave us good tips for a boat and BBQ. The rooms are sparkling clean, the kitchen well equipped and the beds sleep wonderfully. In the sun, on the deck in front of the house, having breakfast and dinner at a long table overlooking the harbor….it was a dream! We greatly enjoyed and will definitely be back.

We were received in a very friendly manner by Jeroen and he gave us some interesting information about the renovation of the church. After that, he took extensive time to show us all the functions in the kitchen / sauna, etc. We had a wonderful stay at the church. It was very clean, well maintained and nothing was missing in amenities.

I would 100% recommend this place. Contact with Gerrit was always straightforward. The house includes everything you need for a relaxing family vacation. There's nothing missing there. All the basics for cooking are provided, enough towels are provided and there are also bathrobes and free aromas for infusions for the sauna. We were 8 adults and a toddler. On request, a stair gate was installed and a high chair provided.

Nice stay. Good contact with the host. Has nice contacts in Grou and surroundings. Facilities were good. Great rooms and beds, nice large seating areas, well equipped kitchen. General hygiene could be better; surfaces were dusty and the floors a bit sandy. Definitely recommended for friends weekends, family weekends etc.

Very nice cottage and a nice price for what you get. Nice area. Definitely worth the effort!
