This house is much better than in the photos! Because YES: it is a whole house with two floors and garden. I have read all the reviews from other people in advance to be convinced of this, so if you read this you can be sure! It is a beautiful house, which is surprisingly bright in the morning (we arrived late). The bedroom is perfection. There are two toilets!! One downstairs and one upstairs. It is a house to stay in for much longer than one night. So I want to go back!

Unique experience in such an old historical building

Probably the cosiest Airbnb I have ever stayed at! Arthur & Ellis place is very very cozy, clean and spacious. The place has everything we needed (even things we didn’t know we needed :) ) and it has a very nice atmosphere. Arthur and Elli were very nice, helpful, welcoming and kind. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!

Had a wonderful stay with Nick. Ideal location for a family or group of friends. Very nice beds and a beautiful garden. Also enough parking spaces and it was within walking distance of downtown. So highly recommended!

We had a nice short vacation with our dog and cat in Gwen's cottage. Great location to visit Efteling. It all looked like the photos. Everything is tastefully decorated, but not cluttered. The kitchen is a bit outdated, but fits the style of the house. All the necessary equipment is available, we still had to buy a few basics like oil and baking paper. The oven is a bit temperamental, but it's enough to bake rolls or pizza if you have a little patience. 😉 The disadvantage for me was that you can't ventilate downstairs (except by opening the front door). The upper floor is beautifully renovated and bright. The large bedroom even has air conditioning. You can see the age of the bathroom in one place or another (shower wall, silicone joints), but everything was cleaned as best as possible. You have to be careful with the steep stairs. Check-in and check-out was very straightforward and flexible thanks to the key box. Gwen was always available and friendly.

Absolutely beautiful place. Clean, cosy and everything you need is there. Mattheus is quick to answer any question we had. Super place and easy walking through Zaltbommel from the house. Great little shops and restaurants on walking distance. We will be back.

We were there the second time. Great place to stay and beautiful grounds. The large pool is heated and therefore great for the whole family even in not so hot weather.

Had a very nice stay at Maurice's cottage. The weather was great (good start) and the accommodation met all expectations. Very clean and orderly and equipped with most comforts. The garden and the surrounding area is well maintained and we could optimally enjoy the tranquility. Maurice and Marion were very sympathetic and hospitable, making us feel completely at home. Thank you!

We had an amazing time at Roel’s place. It is really close to the city and was within walkable distance to most places we wanted to go to. We didn’t even need the bikes Roel kindly provided. We had our car parked right outside the door and could comfortably do our day trips. A grocery and a couple of restaurants are right down the street, so even on more stressful days we never found ourselves in need of anything. The place itself looked even better than any of the pictures! Roel herself was very nice and accommodating and overall also very responsive and very helpful with all of our needs. We’ll gladly come again to stay at Roel’s place!

Immaculate place, great communication, splendid location and wonderful very, very spacious house. It was quite good for a family of 3 and no complaints. The only issue I found was apart Ent was in 2nd floor and there were lots of stairs to climb with the luggage in the absence of lift. I would appreciate that this is mentioned so that families with little one can be prepared for the climb, other than that 10/10 ! I recommend this favor next time if I am at Eindhoven.

The spacious apartment is in the middle of the city center, which was incredibly convenient for us. The host had good tips on where to park, he had described everything clearly and responded quickly if we had any questions.

The stay at Marjolein and Michiel's was exceptionally nice and cozy. Quietly located, beautiful ambiance with private pond terrace and garden. Ideal for cycling tours to the World Heritage Site to the mills in Kinderdijk, Rotterdam, as well as to Dordrecht. The water bus is also highly recommended! Since my husband turned 60, Michiel had thoughtfully put a nice bottle of Prosecco in the fridge for us in advance. Breakfast was very tasty and extensive. The beds are very comfortable. Overall, the room could be darkened well for sleeping. The car could be parked very safely in the courtyard. Thank you so much again for the wonderful stay!! We were very kindly received. Maria gave a good tip tour of the house. It is a beautiful cottage located in a very beautiful garden that you share with the hosts. But we have experienced enough privacy. Marie and Pieter Jan are always there for you. In any case, we left with a very satisfied feeling. Rinie&Harry

Great place. We were here with our family of eight adults, a grandchild and a dog. Very spacious living/dining kitchen. Cozy wood fireplace. Everything clean and tidy. Nice theme through Decher's place. Clearly a lot of care and attention is paid to. Lovely bedrooms and a pleasant bedstee. Every room a bathroom is very nice. Recommended! We have been on beautiful days in the winter, nice walk with the dog. We would love to have the summer.

Great stay, especially for longer stays.... Very friendly and welcoming hosts... The place has all the amenities to feel right at home and then some, the true gem is the backyard porch!!

Truly a family home. Boris runs a beautiful BnB and lives on the top floor. Great living room, good kitchen, three spacious bedrooms and well equipped bathroom. It has it all, and just in case you would miss anything, Boris will get it for you! All packed in a great architectural house, beautiful and tasteful interior. You’ll enjoy this classic Dutch villa. Free parking! Location is perfect. Inner city walkable, great restaurants nearby. Truly recommend this.

A fantastic house, with plenty of space, with separate playroom for the children, at the edge of the forest. Large dining table: when can you enjoy a meal and each other with 12 or even a few more, at 1 table? We love the fireplace and the fire bowl outside. Wonderful that we could dive into made beds and communication with host went well. All in all: Highly recommended!

We had a great time. We loved the place, everything was perfect as in the photos. The cottage is cozy, comfortable and good location. We really enjoyed the amenities like sauna and bikes. The hosts are very kind and communication was easy and efficient.

A perfect little nest tucked away in a quiet corner of nature. The accommodation is perfectly appointed, extremely clean, and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped, and the location is ideal for traveling with a young child. The hosts were wonderful, incredibly welcoming, and full of helpful advice. The icing on the cake is that functional bikes with child seats are available for guests. We felt completely at home in this little cocoon, surrounded by chickens, bees, wild horses, and a beautiful lake. We recommend it without hesitation and promise to return very soon!

It is a nice house in the middle of the woods with nature around you. The villa is just as it is described. Communication with Ralph was smooth and easy. The place is big enough for 6 guests. The two work stations overlooking the garden is an absolute plus. You have everything here that you need for a relaxing holiday. The only minus was that the water of the jacuzzi was filthy (the water was green) and some kind of liquid is constantly dripping from the tree above it. Otherwise the place is great. Easily accessible. Highly equipped. With really high-end electronic devices everywhere (yes, several of them do not actually work as mentioned in some previous reviews but it was not an issue for us). Comfortable beds. Large bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen. A large garden. And birds singing around you the whole day.

We had a great stay at Villa Lambertus and Barbara was a wonderful host. Would highly recommend!
