If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

The house is located in Vorbasse, only 16 km from Legoland and Lalandia and 32 km from Givskud Zoo. Really well located with many activities in the nearby area and if you want a day trip to the North Sea, it is only 70 km away. Charging stations for electric cars are on the property and can be used via the Monta Charge app (4 DKK/kWh).

The house is placed in a peaceful area, surrounded by nature and close-by touristic spots: Legoland (9 km), Billund Airport (12 km), Randbøl Hede (next to), Frederikshåb Plantage (next to), Syvårssøerne (4 km). There is free parking on the premises and a bus stop (on the Bøgvadvej street) just a short walk from the house, where buses to and from Billund Airport stop.

Huset har stor dejlig sydvendt lukket gårdhave, hvor man kan nyde solen hele dagen. Der kan parkeres på gaden tæt på huset to timer gratis mellem 10-18 på hverdage og lørdag mellem 10-14. Ellers er der gratis parkering hele døgnet ca fem minutters gang fra huset
