Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Vinton County

We had family coming in from out of town and no room at our place, so we put them up in Velvet's beautiful manor. Check in was so easy, and everything was clean and beautiful! The location is incredibly convenient, just off the main road and just a few minutes from the Dollar General and also from Lake Alma. We will definitely be back!

We had a very lovely time at The Summit. It was so peaceful and relaxing - the view is amazing. We spent most nights just sitting on the roof deck enjoying our dinner and watching the sunset. The final touches and details in the home were very nicely done. We enjoyed that The Summit is tucked away from the hustle and bustle which is a nice way to disconnect and relax. But if you are the type of person who looks to eat out each meal, expect a drive. We personally made every meal in the home and found it very easy based on what was provided!

My Wife and I had a wonderful stay! The area is easy to find and the scenery was beautiful! The home is absolutely gorgeous and the hot tub and games were a great touch! Definitely will stay here again.

This was everything we were looking for. We took 5 Girl Scout families to Hocking Hills for the weekend, and this property had everything we needed. Families who wanted to camp could, and one’s who needed to be indoors had plenty of rooms and space. We cooked on the campfire and in the kitchen, enjoyed the indoor spaces and outdoor spaces, had plenty of bathrooms and privacy and places to be together. They spent time in the hot tub and in the creek. From the home it was 45 minutes to Smoke Rise Ranch, pretty close to Lake Hope, and just a few minutes to Old Man’s Cave at Hocking Hills State park. It was truly perfect for our trip.

What a stay at the evergreen! From the start to finish, our stay at the evergreen was top notch. Theofania, our host, has put countless hours making her guest feel welcomed and safe at her air bnb. The house was beautiful and came with awesome amenities. We had a fire inside while watching a movie on the box tv from the dvd player. We felt like kids again and we truly experienced rest during our stay as well. Theofania also has many labels through out the house to help guests navigate the ins and outs of their stay. We also found out that Theofania is a musician and we looked her up. She kills it on the piano. Truly a work of art! If we ever return to the area, we will 1000% be returning to Theofania’s home.

Sarah’s place was awesome! It deserved more than 5 stars! Beautiful house, super clean, beautiful kitchen and bathrooms! Much better than the pictures. Very reliable wi fi. Amazing hot tub. Will definitely recommend!!! We will most likely go back!!!😊

Wonderful host. Always quick to respond. Place was absolutely amazing! One night stay but will definitely be back for another stay. Peaceful atmosphere- got to see a family of deer wandering from afar! Thanks for the great communication.

Seth's place was perfect. We decided last minute to get away for a few days for the holiday weekend. His place was in the perfect location with several restaurants and bars within walking distance. One was right next door. I saw that some people mentioned they were concerned it might be loud at night - it wasn't at all. They had a festival going on in town too which we were not aware of so that was a bonus for us to get some fair food and listen to music on the street. Plus Seth's place was inside the Dora area so we were able to get a Dora Cup from the bar and sip our drinks while walking back to our room. The apartment was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, he supplied all the necessities like toilet paper, coffee pods, shampoo, conditioner, towels, etc. We would most definitely stay here again if we are back down that way.

Krista was an exceptional host! This place exceeded our expectations. Pictures do not do it justice. The apartment is very spacious, bright, and cozy. Everything was immaculate. If we ever find ourselves in the area in the future we will absolutely be staying here again. Everything you may happen to forget was provided. Anything you may happen to need beyond that is nearby. Jackson is such a pleasant town to stroll through and everyone we met was so pleasant, cheerful, and helpful.

My husband and I stayed at Idyll Reserve 5 (The North) for two nights in January and had a fabulous stay! 🌲❄️ The cabin was thoughtfully designed, tastefully decorated, and very spacious for the two of us (& could accommodate a small family easily). It had all the amenities you’d need for a cozy stay — spacious, fully-stocked kitchen (with coffee & espresso maker! ☕️), comfy couch, living room with large windows & beautiful views of the surrounding woods, walk-in double shower & soaking tub, and our personal favorites — the outdoor hot tub and sauna! Laura was extremely responsive and communication regarding check-in was the best I’ve had with an Airbnb host. We could have easily stayed several more days. Hocking Hills State Park is just a ~10 minute drive away (we did some gorgeous hiking to Ash Cave, Old Man’s Cave, and Cedar Falls all within a half day). We’re already planning our next trip back with our kids! 🥰

Retire, traveled for 25 years, the bed was one of the top 5, I have enjoyed. For a century home the room was spotless, the original wood floors were beautiful. The neighbor hood is a series of century home on a quiet street. Walked to the local restaurants everything is 10 minutes close. We’re enjoyable visit.

What a wonderful retreat! I stayed by myself as a little momma get away and it was perfect. The Zucchini bread is as good as everyone says! The hot tub was wonderful! The hosts were extremely responsive whenever I needed anything and really helpful! There are even games and toys for kids/toddlers if that is what you’re doing. I of course was vacationing FROM the kids toys lol but I love that if we go back there are things for the kids. Be advised that this is a basement apartment so you’ll hear footsteps and sometimes muffled voices just like you would in any house. It didnt bother me at all! The views are spectacular and the property is just so peaceful. 10/10 would recommend for sure!!

This property is exactly what we were looking for…secluded, private & breathtakingly beautiful. We spent our 4 days relaxing outside….we used the amazing pool, hot tub & cold plunge daily. We explored the wooded trails they have marked out. At night we built a fire & made s’mores. Prior to arriving I purchased add ons & Keith or Raya responded to all my questions quickly. They set up a couples massage & an in cabin chef…both were AMAZING. When we arrived, check in was easy peasy & Todd was delightful to chat with. Once settled in, anytime we needed anything we just sent a text to the office & had a reply ASAP. But the most important thing to me is that is was SUPER CLEAN. I am OCD about the places we stay & even though we have stayed at many “luxury” hotels & resorts…I have never been so impressed with the cleanliness as I was with The Observatory. It was by far better than expected, so peaceful & we felt right at home. We love it so much it will now be our yearly anniversary getaway❤️

We have stayed here twice and loved it both times. The house is secluded but still close enough to town. It’s very peaceful and comfortable. Having the pool is amazing.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The pictures online don’t do this place justice, it was gorgeous inside and out. It was kid friendly/ private and had everything we needed. Brian was great; let us get inside a few minutes early when we arrived. We will definitely be back!

If I could give Villa Rock 100 stars I would! Brian put so much love into every single detail of this place, it was so beautiful and relaxing. We will always stay here when we are in this area from now on. Villa Rock was just a few minutes from all of the hiking trails in Hocking Hills. We would be in the trails at sunrise, get back to the Rock at around ten, enjoy the hot tub and sauna, then head back out for more hiking in the evening. My fiancée and I also got engaged down here this weekend, so thank you Brian for being a huge part of our forever memorable trip!
