Very friendly host, great location and a lovely place to spend your weekend.

A great and clean house in a quiet area. With 8 people, we were fine with the rooms and bathrooms. Pool was to our satisfaction!

We felt right at home at Willem‘s place. Loved the beachy feel of the house, the individual decoration, you can see he feels at home here as well. The proximity to the city and train station came in very handy (10min walk), the bed was very comfortable, the little garden area cute and I had no issues working remotely with his internet access. The neighborhood is lively during the day and quiet during the night. The self-checkin was very convenient for our early arrival and very early departure. Haarlem has a great vibe and we would certainly return.

We chose the place because it's close to the sea and the city. Both places are easily accessible even for us who were only equipped with e-bikes. The supermarket and restaurants can also be reached on foot. The accommodation is very nice. Large house and nice outdoor space to relax. The kitchen is super stocked with everything you need. Cats are a nice add-on: they're companionship and don't bother at all.

Our family of five had a wonderful stay in this beautiful lake house. Nederhorst den Berg is a lovely little village with everything we needed. The home was well stocked with a great layout. Comfy beds, large kitchen and very nice bathrooms made the stay just perfect. The highlight was the lake! My children had a great time paddle boarding and swimming. There was lots to do in the yard, including the sport court in the front where they played every day. It is a very easy drive to just about anywhere you wish to go in The Netherlands. We enjoyed frequent visits to Weesp which was a 10 minute drive away and to Amsterdam which was about 25 minutes. Every day we rode the provided bikes and scooters into town for dinner or to pick up groceries. We also loved to walk across the street to visit the animals at the large farm. The hosts were wonderful from start to finish, always very responsive. We would highly recommend this fantastic family home!

Sander was very welcoming and responsive regarding every question we had. The house was tidy, clean and very kid-friendly. a nice garden with fruits and vegetables, very peaceful and private. If you are traveling with kids I would highly recommend Sander's home :)

What a terrific spot. Nice kitchen, comfortable bed, easy walk to the grocery store. Easy access to bike paths and terrific location for biking around Haarlem. Easy bike to Haarlem Central Station and then off we went to Amsterdam on the train. Great location overall.

Frans and Tessa have a fantastic eye for design. Especially the ground floor with light-flooded kitchen and the dining room with access to the garden were cozy and welcoming to eat there and spend nice evenings. You could relax at the jetty and the neighbors were super friendly. It's just a few minutes drive to Haarlem center. The two took a lot of time and answered all the important questions on arrival and at any time. For us, the mattress in the double bed was very soft and the nightly ventilation was a bit complicated if you don't want to leave the large windows open completely. All in all but a recommended place to stay!

A great big house. Perfect for those of us as an extended family. We felt very comfortable. Great that we could use the bikes. The house is clean and in order. Hans & Danielle were always reachable for us, despite vacation in France.

The house is homely with good amenities and is in a very nice, quiet residential area, close to the train station. For guests who appreciate a beautiful living room, no steep stairs and want a starting point for many great activities: beach, dune paradise, Amsterdam, the stay is ideal. We felt very welcome from Karin and she was always quick to respond to any questions.

Very nice home, terrific kitchen and living area, nice bedrooms, and garden. We rented bikes nearby and toured around the area like the locals! We cycled through the dunes to the beach a couple of times, one of the group had a chilly Spring swim in a nearby lake (would be much warmer in summer). Trains were within 5 minutes walk and, from there, very easy to get to Amsterdam, Utrecht and other places in the Netherlands. We really liked the local supermarket, which is also easily walkable.

We felt very comfortable here during our short trip. Everything we needed was available and the apartment is very tastefully and cozily furnished. The private seating in the small courtyard is also particularly beautiful.

We had the privilege to stay in Jeroen's family home for few days, we had a really pleasant stay. House was spacious enough to accommodate us, four adults and two kids. It was neat, well arranged and had all the amenities we required. Kitchen was well equipped as well with all the equipments we wished for. The kids had a wonderful time playing in the garden, also enough toys and games inside the house to keep them engaged.

We had a lovely stay at Thomas and Britt's place. Unfortunately, we were late due to traffic and therefore could not be received in person by the two. But they were super understanding and explained to us how to get to the accommodation. The contact was always very nice. The house is super cute and clean. The garden is also beautifully landscaped. We will be happy to come back.

A beautiful house with an amazing garden. Perfectly located to go to the beach or visit Amsterdam or other cities around. We had a wonderful stay. The atmosphere in the house with its view over the stunning garden is amazing. Our kids very much enjoyed the toys. And the bathroom is heaven. Annemarie and Daan are extremely friendly and responsive. 100% recommended.

It was wonderful walking into Dirk’s home after a very long flight and having it be so clean and comfortable. The goodies he left for us were very much appreciated as well. He was super responsive whenever I had questions, before and during our visit. It was nice having a place to park our car, and also great to be so close to the train station. We brought my 96yo mother with us so having a couch and half bath downstairs was perfect. In the couple of days we had nice weather, it was lovely sitting outside, enjoying both the sun and the neighborhood cat who visited. We had a fantastic time and wish we could have met Dirk personally. He rocks!!!!

We stayed a week in Haarlem at Bas'. Host always ready to respond to our concerns and very kind. Very welcoming and comfortable house for 4 adults. Very peaceful and beautiful area. Parking in front of the house.

It was lovely to stay in your beautiful building ‘De Oude Bakery on the small lock! With the lock of Oud-IJmuiden as views, the old facades, the watercraft (from container ships to 3 masters) that sail through it a nice experience. The B&B is nicely furnished and equipped with every comfort. Delicious breakfast, great shower and we even made use of the indoor 2-person sauna cabin. The Kennemer beach is 9 minutes by car, so nice and blown out during a beach walk. Haarlem and Amsterdam are easily accessible and with the water taxi you can get to the other side of the North Sea Canal. In the (dining)cafe diagonally opposite the B&B, you can eat well and have a nice drink. In short: definitely recommended to the hospitable and sweet hosts Christel and Myriam! And for those who love pets: the quiet old dog Doby in her basket finds a hug and pet very nice. Thank you, Bert and Willeke
