The city of Manadas is very pretty and central to all attractions. Parking was very convenient, several people park in the narrow streets and I would never have dared to do the same. Manadas, like most cities in São Jorge, is not a pedestrian city. There are no sidewalks or shoulders, and it must be said that steep slopes can slow down our ardor. We walked to the church and it was quite sporty. So you have to take the car to go to the market, but that's the case with all the cities on the island anyway. The accommodation was in a good location, quiet, and was very comfortable. Antonio was very responsive and accommodating and provided a lot of useful information about the festivities underway and the opening of supermarkets during the holidays.

We were super well settled in Germano's house! The beds were super comfortable, we slept beautifully and woke up fresh every day. You can see the attention to detail, everything was super clean and the kitchen was super well-equipped, it had everything we needed. Germano was also impeccable in his local suggestions, he got it right, both in the places to eat and in the tours. We really feel at home. Fully recommended.

This air bnb exceeded our expectations! The inside and outside areas are pristine and beautiful! Everything looks exactly like the photos, and the home feels even bigger in person. Not only was the stay beautiful, but the owners are truly amazing people that made us feel like family. I had to take an emergency trip to the hospital and the owners offered to help my parents get to me. They even made sure we made it to the ferry okay. Great location with easy parking. The place was spacious and had the amenities listed. We really appreciated the extra towels provided, the flexibility and easy check-in and check-out process. It was also convenient and easy to walk to nearby cafes. A surprise and highlight was the super friendly horse next door.
