House vacation rentals in Vejby

We recently had the most wonderful summer break staying at this lovely, peaceful cottage in Melby. From the moment we walked in the front door, we felt ourselves relax. The cottage is beautifully decorated, kitchen is super well equipped and the beds are very comfortable - easily sleeping our 2 families. Outside, we loved using the pool, snoozing in the hammock and eating on the expansive deck in front of the outdoor fireplace. The cottage is a 10-15min walk to a pretty local beach and a short drive (or bike ride) to the pretty Liseleje Beach. Lots of fantastic restaurants in the area and plenty to see and do. Christian and Pernille were brilliant hosts - easy to communicate with, always responsive and gave us great tips on what to see and do in the area. Thanks for a truly fabulous stay!

It's a very cozy house. We enjoyed our stay. The sauna can fit 2/3 people comfortably, but more than that is too tight. The location is great, it's at the same time private and also close to grocery stores, the beach, and coffee shops.

We had a delightful stay. Kim is a very responsive and helpful host, and the house was clean and equipped with everything you might need for your stay. We were impressed by the attention to detail. It’s a quiet neighbourhood with beautiful surroundings. Would recommend having a car, but we managed it all on public transport and the handy bikes at the house. The only confusing bit was the light switches that took some finding! If you’re looking for a comfy space an hour outside of Copenhagen, this is a great place.

To be honest, the photos and description didn’t do the house justice - it was larger than expected. We really enjoyed the pool and outside terrace when the weather allowed it. Jennifer was very responsive to all our needs & questions! Top notch place - would strongly recommend.

A great place to stay with everything you need

The stay was optimal, great view and ambience, a beautiful house with a sweet garden and nice pool, a friendly and very dedicated landlord, a charming village and great surroundings: We will be very happy to come back

We are looking back on a wonderful Denmark vacation. Christiane is a great host who welcomed us in person and showed and explained everything on a tour. We felt right at home and were able to enjoy our break from everyday life in the cozy cottage and on the magnificent sun terrace in full and swim a few laps in the really large pool for refreshment. Everything was clean and furnished and decorated in a vintage style with a lot of style and attention to detail. Beds are very comfortable, we slept heavenly. There is nothing missing in the kitchen and you can take care of yourself very well. If you are looking for peace and quiet, proximity to nature and privacy, this is the place to be. The sea is just around the corner and there are really many great excursions and attractions in the vicinity. It will not be boring, there is always something to discover and we will be happy to come back...

We (couple with 8 year old daughter) spent a great week in the beautiful summer house. The house was actually even more beautiful than in the photos, very stylish with designer furniture and high-quality art on the walls, lovingly furnished and in an absolutely top location to the beautiful steep coast (with adventurous private stairs), where you can enjoy the picturesque sunset, but also great swimming. The kitchen is super equipped, with all that you need. The pool was the absolute highlight! It's not heated, but the sun does it wonderfully. The huge garden and peaceful surroundings were also very convincing. The area invites you to numerous activities, but you should definitely be mobile, because the local shopping is best to reach by bike or car. Janus is a very friendly and reliable host, communicating with him was always straightforward and prompt. Thank you for everything

well located place, easy to access, well equipped place like a an equipped kitchen. It has a nice garden ( Dansk : have), Yaov communicates very well and helpful.

Wonderful secluded home. Pristine condition. With everything we needed. Close to the beach and the coast within easy driving distance of Helsingør, Roskilde and Copenhagen. We loved it there.

We booked the vacation at Andreas' house very spontaneously. Nevertheless, everything worked smoothly. He always responded quickly to our messages. The place and the garden were really nice. Everything was clean. We felt so comfortable. We drove about 50 minutes to Copenhagen and were able to experience a lot there (but also on site). We would always come back!

Had such a wonderful time there with my family, a very cosy house and a lovely garden… we especially loved the record player! Mille was very quick and helpful to respond to any queries, can definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful holiday! :)

This picturesque cottage is a rare beauty in a lovely seaside town. We experienced the full spectrum of Danish weather during our weeklong stay, and this home was perfect for it all. On rainy days we enjoyed hygge with the wood-burning stove and candles. The clear days were spent enjoying the sun in the gorgeous and well-maintained yard. The town is charming with great bars, restaurants, and beaches. This home is tucked away, yet nearby everything. We walked into town for fresh pastries and coffee almost daily. Malou was a gracious and communicative host. We would love the opportunity to stay here again and again.

We had an amazing Easter in Tisvilde. The summerhouse with large garden and terrace is close to the forest with great opportunities for hiking. The forest also has amazing trails for "MTB" for those who are interested. Tisvilde is close by with cozy shops, restaurants and beach.

I can only recommend this super nice and quiet cottage! We loved our stay, and were really pleasantly surprised at how nice and cozy the decor was! Olivia was incredibly sweet and very flexible with both check-in and checkout, so only good things from here! In addition, the cottage was furnished with many sleeping places, a large garden and a large terrace all the way around the house, which just meant that there was plenty of room for all of us. Will definitely be back!

The cottage was so cozy and I slept incredibly well. The open kitchen was cozy to cook in and there was everything you needed. I was not lucky with the weather, but I think the garden is a wonderful place on the good summer days. There are small kitchen gardens and beautiful trees and plants. The hosts were also so sweet that when I needed to check out a few days early, they suggested a very nice solution, it was kind of them and I really appreciated it. A lovely little cottage with charming decor, a lovely terrace, a small botanical garden and very sweet hosts.

Very bright and nice summer house that is decorated with good taste. The house is close to the beach and the cozy village of Tisvildeleje. In the kitchen there is everything you need to cook. The terrace is large and there is possibility to eat outdoors. There were fresh flowers in the house when we arrived which made us feel very welcome. We had a very pleasant stay and would love to come back.

We had a fantastic time in Vejby! The House is located close to the beach and surrounded by nature. Loads of options for dinning in the nearby towns. The house is very cozy and private from the outside. It is placed within a very well maintained garden with loads of flavors and various different fruit trees/plants.
