Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Vecchiano

We hebben een week doorgebracht in het huis van Stella en Tessa. Het is een sfeervol en authentiek ingericht appartement. Het ligt tussen de bergen omringd door olijfbomen maar steden zoals Lucca en Florence liggen niet ver weg. Het huis was heel schoon en lekker koel bij warme temperaturen. Er is voldoende schaduw rondom het huis. We hebben een kookles bij Stella gevolgd, dit was leerzaam en heel gezellig. Stella bedankt voor je vriendelijkheid, de heerlijke Italiaanse gerechten en je tips over de omgeving. Groeten, Margret en Toin

Posto tranquillo e rilassante, perfetto per una rigenerazione. In quei luoghi si torna indietro nel tempo a quando eravamo piccoli, il tempo rallenta ed é piacevole apprezzare stupendi panorami e le architetture del paese. La casa é ben tenuta, pulita e carina e la signora Claudia molto disponibile. Torneremo.

Whether you’re heading to Florence, Pisa, or the charming hill towns, everything is within easy reach. House: Well-equipped and comfortable, with all the listed amenities in perfect working order. After long days of sightseeing, the pool was a refreshing retreat. The panoramic view over the valley is truly breathtaking. Host: Lorenzo is an outstanding host — friendly, responsive, and fluent in English. He was proactive and helpful throughout our stay. The house includes a detailed guidebook he created with handpicked recommendations for local shops, markets, restaurants, farms, and sights. It made planning our days effortless. Bottom line: If this listing is available — don’t hesitate. Book it. 10/10 would recommend!

Alloggio splendido! ci è piaciuto molto come è arredato l'interno e l'esterno. Il giardino mi è piaciuto particolarmente. tanti angoli suggestivi da scoprire, con statue nascoste nel verde e piccoli tavolini. Location ideale per passare un weekend nel verde in relax lontano dalla città.

Hier ist die überarbeitete Version mit dem Zusatz zur Umgebung und dem Wunsch, wiederzukommen: ⸻ Die Unterkunft liegt in einer ruhigen, idyllischen Gegend und ist perfekt, um abzuschalten und zu entspannen. Das Haus war sauber und die Küche mit allem ausgestattet, was man im Alltag braucht. Die Kommunikation mit Ilaria war jederzeit freundlich und unkompliziert – alles hat super geklappt. Das Highlight ist der große, sehr gepflegte Garten mit vielen verschiedenen Pflanzen – ein richtig schönes, grünes Paradies. Der Pool macht das Ganze noch besser. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren für knapp drei Wochen mit unserer 10 Monate alten Tochter in der Wohnung von Franco und Gracia und hatten eine großartige Zeit dort. Das Haus liegt günstig für Ausflüge im Norden der toscana, gleichzeitig aber ruhig und friedlich an einem Berg in der Natur; man hat einen tollen Blick und einen tollen Garten! Die Wohnung selber ist genau wie auf den Bildern beschrieben; gemütlich, mit ausreichendem Platz und einer wirklich gut ausgestatteten Küche. Mit dem eigenen Garten hat man viel privaten Raum. Franco und seine Frau waren herausragende Gastgeber. Sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Auch die Anweisungen, um die Wohnung zu erreichen, waren klar und verständlich. Einziger kleiner Nachteil an der tollen Lage am Berg ist, dass man schlecht zu Fuß (gerade mit Kinderwagen) von dort wegkommt, sondern immer mit dem Auto fahren muss. Insgesamt sind wir absolut zufrieden und können diesen Geheimtipp voll und ganz empfehlen; wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub

Cristina is the perfect host and the house is beautiful. The surroundings are amazing and the views......wow! All through the booking and our stay there Cristina was swift to answer any questions we had and also was happy to offer suggestions on places to go and where to eat. We had a perfect week there and I wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend her place to anyone else. Cristina and her sister met us at the house and showed us round, clearly pointing out all the relevant bits that we would need to know. Thank you so much for making our week in Italy so special and enjoyable......we are already looking to come back!

Heerlijke accommodatie met fantastisch uitzicht. Elias en Egle hebben ons goed geholpen met nuttige tips in de omgeving. Ook kwamen ze ons ophalen bij aankomst zodat wij achter ze aan konden rijden en we direct goed zouden rijden, erg gewaardeerd. Absoluut een aanrader!

Clara war eine wunderbare Gastgeberin - freundlich, hat beim verspäteten Check-in auf uns gewartet, alles in der Wohnung erklärt. Die Wohnung ist wie beschrieben - super Lage, um die Stadt zu erkunden, die Terrasse ist zu jeder Tageszeit nutzbar, weil es zwei Schirme gibt. Und drin ist es gemütlich, sauber, genug Schränke - alles da. Sehr gern kommen wir wieder, wenn wir mal in der Nähe sind.

Pistoia, la petite Florence, vous invite à prendre le temps de vivre tout en vous dévoilant la beauté de la renaissance Toscane. Dans cette ville, un palais du 16ème siècle abrite un magnifique appartement. Son intérieur, rythmé par les croisées d'ogives rappelant son histoire, vous accueille à bras ouvert après une journée de visite. Les anciens escaliers de service dans la buanderie, rappellent qu'à l'époque, cet endroit était la cuisine de cette noble famille habitant le palais. Ces traces du passé laissent sans problème la place à la modernité et l'aménagement du lieu mêle design et authenticité. À moins d'une heure de Florence, Pise, Lucca, Vinci ou de la mer, Pistoia est sans nul doute extrêmement bien située. Top locatie, met prima voorzieningen. Het uitzicht is prachtig en een dikke plus voor de privé kookles! Niet twijfelen, gewoon boeken.

Emily's apartment is the perfect location to explore Lucca. She was extremely helpful when communicating and very prompt when replying to any queries.

Comfortable and well appointed apartment - linked with beautiful main family home that was spectacular. Lovely grounds with pool, table tennis and small gym. It worked well for us for 2 nights at the end of the holiday and there was a decent and very reasonable pizzeria about 1km away.

Nice and calm Apartment with a great view next to La Spezia. You have so many different options what you can do e.g. - you can visit different beaches, you Can go hiking, you Can start trips to La Spezia, Cinque Terre or even Pisa - its only one hour with the car. We stayed for one week and we recommend this Apartment!

Wir haben unsere 4 Wochen Aufenthalt in dieser wunderschönen ruhigen Unterkunft sehr genossen. Der Außen- und Poolbereich ist sehr gepflegt. Sollten im zweiten Appartement Gäste sein, kann man sich dennoch sehr gut zurück ziehen und die Stille genießen. Für Kinder gibt es genügend Spielgeräte die mit genutzt werden können. We had the most wonderful few days in the Tuscan hills. The house was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need, with plenty of space. Elena was there to greet us when we checked in, and was always responsive if we had any questions. A short drive from beautiful Lucca. The drive up to the house takes a bit of getting used to, but was all part of the charm. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Olga's villa is absolutely stunning. Our family of 9 had the most wonderful visit. We enjoyed cooking in the beautiful and well appointed kitchen, eating outside on the terrace, swimming in the pool, and relaxing outside on the terrace, enjoying the peaceful beauty and breathtaking views of Tuscany. Olga's place is truly special. Olga was very communicative, helpful and kind. We highly recommend her villa to others.

We had a fantastic stay at the Villino - it was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and really well equipped. There is lots of outdoor spaces with the small courtyard being perfect for soaking up the sun whilst the terrace provided some lovely shade when it got too warm. It really is as nice as it looks in the pictures! The Villino is situated off a quiet street, but is an easy 2km / 20 minute walk to the walls of Lucca which as great for us - not too far away that we couldn't walk into town for sightseeing or evening meals but an easy place to drive to without having to deal with the beautiful but narrow maze of streets within the walls. Local shops and a Lidl supermarket are nearby too. Enrico was a really excellent host, arranging check-in at a time that suited us and providing lots of friendly advice and recommendations for places to eat / visit. Thank you Enrico! Overall a wonderful place to stay and would highly recommend

We had an unforgettable stay at this villa for our bachelorette getaway! The host was incredibly responsive and made everything smooth from start to finish. The views were absolutely breathtaking — even better than in the pictures! The villa had everything we needed to set the perfect atmosphere: fully stocked kitchen with plates and glasses, plenty of towels, and thoughtful details throughout. We loved picking fresh lemons from the garden and finding peaceful spots around the property to read and relax. It’s incredibly private and serene — the perfect escape. While the drive-up can be a bit tricky at first, it quickly becomes second nature and is well worth it.This place exceeded all of our expectations. Highly, highly recommend — we'd come back in a heartbeat!

This Airbnb was absolutely the best. We loved it. Christina and family paid great attention to detail and were very easy to communicate with.we loved Ettore as well. It was a beautiful and comfortable retreat. My only watch out for drivers from the USA - the roads are very narrow. Apart from that everyone we met in Tuscany were really helpful and pleasant. Certainly can recommend The Old Cave.

Abbiamo passato 3 giorni fantastici nella villa di Daniele, immersa nella tranquillità della campagna toscana. Eravamo in 9 amici e la casa è stata perfetta per il nostro soggiorno: spaziosa, pulita e dotata di tutti i comfort. La piscina e la jacuzzi esterne sono state le protagoniste delle nostre giornate di relax, mentre la sauna interna ha aggiunto un tocco speciale alle serate. Gli spazi comuni sono ampi e ben organizzati e il portico esterno è ideale per fare una grigliata. Daniele è stato un host impeccabile: sempre disponibile e attento, ci ha fatto sentire subito benvenuti. Un soggiorno che consigliamo senza esitazioni, perfetto per chi cerca pace, comfort e un bel posto dove condividere momenti con gli amici.

Matteo's place is phenomenal. Lovely apartment with unbeatable views and within walking distance of the town centre, absolutely perfect for a short break in a beautiful location. re: amenities, it has an indoor jet whirlpool bath but no outdoor hot tub, and we couldn't find the safe (but the place is very secure). Be aware that taxi transfers should be reserved in advance as weekends in peak season are very busy, and make sure you're waiting on time as the apartment is on a busy one-way road so they cannot wait for long

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe von Freunden dort und hatten einen super schönen Urlaub! Der Gastgeber Juri war sehr freundlich und hat sofort auf Fragen geantwortet. Das Haus war groß und bestens ausgestattet. Im Haupthaus und im kleineren Haus am Pool gab es jeweils eine Küche. Man kann auf der Terrasse sehr schön mit allen zusammen essen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Zum nächsten Supermarkt fährt man knappe 10min, nach Lucca ins Stadtzentrum 15min und ca. 30min nach Pisa. Für uns war die Lage perfekt. Vor Ort ist es ruhig und wir hatten keine direkten Nachbarn.
