Villa vacation rentals in Vaxholm Municipality

Martin ist ein sehr netter und zuvorkommender Gastgeber, der uns einen besonderen Empfang bereitet hat. Das Haus ist neu und modern ausgestattet. Es liegt in einer ruhigen Nachbarschaft, das Wasser ist in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Dort kann man auch baden. Vaxholm ist mit dem Auto 20 Minuten entfernt, von dort kann man mit dem Schiff in die Schären und nach Stockholm fahren. Wir haben uns super wohlgefühlt!

We had such a great week in Johan’s house and were particularly grateful for the helpful suggestions about the locale which really helped us get the most out of our stay. It really is an idyllic setting with gorgeous swimming spots nearby and great running routes from the doorstep. The house is very comfortable and Johan was a super kind and helpful host. We were travelling without a car and it’s very easy to zip about from the house via Sweden’s fantastic and unbelievably cheap public transport- bus & train to Stockholm centre, ferries to the beautiful archipelago, safe and easy cycling everywhere. Our teenagers enjoyed exploring the new and very cool ‘Gasworks’ area around Ropsten. 100% recommend!

Dejligt hus! Dejlig have! Roligt område, hvor det er nemt at komme til bus og indkøb. Alt var, som det så ud på billederne, og kommunikationen med Patrik kan der ikke sættes en finger på. Hvis vi skal til Stockholm igen, kunne vi sagtens finde på at booke Patriks hus igen.

Autentisk, rar og ideel bolig for en større familie der vil opleve skærgårdens fortræffeligheder. Vi følte os straks godt hjemme i boligen og på grunden. Masser af plads og et smukt autentisk område. Michelles instruktioner om vandreruter, badesteder mm gjorde at vi fik så mange skønne oplevelser. Bl.a. at sejle til Stockholm med afgang / ankomst blot 200 m fra boligen.

Notre séjour était parfait ! Cecilia et son mari nous ont extrêmement bien accueilli. Ils nous ont aussi donné de bons conseils sur les choses à voir dans la région. La maison est magnifique, encore plus belle en vrai que sur les photos. La décoration est splendide et le jardin est également très beau et bien entretenu. La maison est très bien équipée. Nous étions avec notre fille de 2 ans et c était génial d avoir beaucoup de jouets pour elle. Il y a en a pour tous les âges : des legos, une dînette avec petite cuisinière, un trampoline, des ballons, des livres, des jouets pour la plage, etc. C était vraiment super pour notre fille d avoir de nouveaux jouets !! Du coté des adultes, nous avons aimé prendre l apéro sur le salon de jardin, manger sur la terrasse et plus, tard, profiter de l ambiance cosy de l intérieur !! La maison est située dans un magnifique quartier, très calme et où il fait bon se balader. Nous avons trouvé très pratique l épicerie située à quelques minutes à pieds de la maison. Je recommande sans hésiter ce logement. Merci Cecilia!

Jessicas house is so amazing. It was comfortable, clean, enormous and so beautiful. Everything you would need was provided. I travelled from Australia with my family and it catered so well for 3 generations. My grandchildren loved the games cupboard and the millions of books. Everyone had space to sit and read or watch tv or chat. The island is beautiful and has easy access by ferry to Vaxholm and Stockholm. I would come back in a second. I highly recommend a stay at this amazing property.

Carl-Oscar’s place was very nice! The house had everything we needed and felt cozy. It was a big plus with so much outdoor space for playing with the kids. Oscar was very helpful and sent us a very informative welcome letter as well as some useful tips about the area beforehand. We had a great time and would highly recommend it for a peaceful get away from the city ☺️

We stayed at Kalle’s place in 8 - 2 families with teenagers. The house was perfect, the kids enjoyed the pool and the SUP (as well as we did!). Great evenings on the terrace and at the fireplace, barbecues every night… Kalle is an excellent host, extremely helpful, full of resources and advice. He suggested a concert in the neighborhood, a swimming sauna and boat trip which we enjoyed a lot! We found ourselves part of a neighborhood of very welcoming people. Alternating visits of Stockholm and days by/on the water was ideal for our group and nearby Waxholm is a great starting point for exploring the arcipelago. We strongly recommend the place and were very sorry to leave!

Wir waren mit großen Kindern da und das Grundstück, die Insel und das Haus hat allen sehr gefallen. Alle sind sich einig, wir wollen wieder kommen.

We had a lovely week in Rindö. Great house and space for a larger group. Hot tub was a treat and we managed a couple of BBQs on the outdoor kitchen. Vaxholm is close and offers shops and restaurants. Niklas was responsive and helpful. The dishwasher was temperamental but we were warned about that. The Archipelago was gorgeous and we had a lovely week exploring, hiking and swimming.

Per’s place was delightful. From the tasteful decor, to the large yard, trampoline, Sonos speakers everywhere (including some very nice Bang and Olufsen towers), spacious rooms, well-stocked kitchen, easy-to-use steam room, comfortable beds, abundant kid toys to share, and safe, convenient location… our entire stay was wonderful! We would happily stay here again and appreciated staying in a home that was clearly lovingly curated by the family that lives here and graciously shared with summer guests. Thank you again!

Fantastic 2 bedroom getaway 30 mins car ride outside of Stockholm. Super calm and picturesque surroundings. Amazing amenities to host larger groups up to 6. Very responsive host. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful place, we had an amazing holiday. Really close to central Stockholm but totally away from it at the same time. Amazing variety of water sports included. Perfect sunsets, wake up to an amazing view. Couldn’t recommend it more

La maison de Anna est juste magnifique très confortable et très bien équipée. Située dans un très bel environnement proche de la ville. Anna est très sympathique et conciliante.

The internal arrangement worked really well for us, but we enjoyed the day bed and the pool outside too. The Sonos system was spot on, perfect for relaxing days. We had no transport, so quite a walk to the grocery store, but there was swimming in lakes and the sea within 10-15 mins in 3 directions. We didn’t meet Camilla, but her communication was excellent. In summary, would recommend.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The outdoor area was a real highlight, we loved the pool, it was perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood but still close enough to the center, with easy access via taxi or public transport. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Mikaels hus är en fantastisk tillflyktsort från Stockholms stadspuls och erbjuder en av de bästa upplevelserna som skärgården har att erbjuda. Huset var rymligt, rent och beläget på den högsta punkten med en hisnande utsikt över de omkringliggande öarna. En stor terrass, förstklassig grill, bastu och såklart poolen gjorde vår tredagarsvistelse med vänner oförglömlig. Mikael var en mycket hjälpsam värd som svarade snabbt på alla våra frågor. Jag önskar bara att jag hade råd att äga det här huset själv ;)

This was the best experience we have had with any rental anywhere. The area is in a quiet family-friendly neighborhood of single-family homes, extremely close to a bus stop to go into the city or shopping. This home stood out from other rentals we have had. It was comfortable, functional and very clean, and I have really high standards and usually clean a rental myself upon checkin. Not necessary here. The home was stocked with everything we needed while not being at all cluttered. Therese met us at checkin to go over instructions for the home and to show us where everything was. She was friendly and truly wanted our family to enjoy her home. We were all adults, two couples and my single son and each had our own bathroom. The outdoor space is beautifully landscaped and the perfect place to enjoy coffee, an afternoon drink or a meal. When returning to Nacka to visit family, this is my first choice in where to stay. Thank You Therese!!!

We absolutely loved the house, and its stunning views. Malin was very responsive, helpful and friendly. This place is quite a treat!!!

We had a wonderful stay in Marie’s house. She was so friendly and we could feel, that she really cares about the house and it’s good state. We immediately felt home because everything is so cozy and and the interior is selected with love. Thank you for this beautiful week!

Vi hade en fantastisk vistelse i detta lyxiga hus! Boendet överträffade alla våra förväntningar med sina högkvalitativa faciliteter. Huset är mycket fint och välutrustat med allt man kan önska sig, inklusive en pool och en jacuzzi som vi verkligen njöt av. Den utmärkta grillen var perfekt för våra kvällar, och närheten till naturen skapade en rogivande atmosfär. Badplatsen som ligger bara två minuters promenad bort var helt underbar och gjorde vår vistelse ännu bättre. Huset var också mycket rent och väl underhållet, och städning ingick vilket gjorde allt ännu smidigare. Vår värd, Linnea, bidrog starkt till att göra vår vistelse minnesvärd. Hon var alltid tillgänglig och otroligt flexibel, vilket uppskattades mycket. Vi kan varmt rekommendera detta boende.

Louis som hyresvärd gjorde sitt bästa och var samarbetsvillig med återbetalning som en rimlig åtgärd för lösning av ett problem.
