Vacation rentals with a kayak in Vättern

We had some wonderful days in Eva's beautiful house, where we enjoyed the rural charm and tranquility. We walked to the nearby lake and swam, enjoyed the bright summer evenings in the lovely garden, where the children played soccer and swung while we adults enjoyed nature and had cozy moments indoors in the spacious and well-equipped house, where there was plenty of entertainment for all ages. In addition, we went on day trips to Astrid Lindgren's World, Kathultt and Bulderby, all of which were within a 25-minute drive. We were 10 people: two families with children with 4 children in total, as well as a set of grandparents and we had plenty of space! It was really nice that each family unit could have a large room with its own seating, where you could retreat when you needed peace ☺️

We had a great stay. The house is located at a beautiful lake. It's perfect for enjoying the swedish nature. Especially the sauna by the lake was our favorite. Odd was a great host, answering to any questions very fast.

If you are looking for the authentic 'Swedish idyll,' this is the place to be! The Torp is even more beautiful than the pictures and furnished with so much attention to detail. Tomaz and his family welcomed us warmly, provided us with plenty of information about the region and always had an open ear. We had a great week and felt very comfortable! A highlight was the joint BBQ by the campfire incl. baking bread and collecting wood with the kids. We recommend the place without reservation and will be happy to come back any time!

Like the previous times, it was again a very nice stay with Erik. If we are nearby again, we will be happy to come back.

We spent two weeks in August with our two children in Gunilla's beautiful house and had a great time. We were very lucky with the weather and were able to enjoy the great garden, the beautiful terrace and above all the wonderful lake. It's just a few steps to swim. The children could play in nature without hesitation and it was wonderfully quiet and relaxed overall. We loved it and would definitely come back.

We had a nice evening at Anna-Karin's house. It was clean and nice and had a nice location with lake view and pool. The area was quiet and Anna-Karin was quick to help us if we had questions. Recommends this accommodation :)

Great place, here we had access to bikes, canoe, sauna, hot tub, trampoline, slide,swing and a game room in the basement. The host was quick to respond and welcomed us and was given a tour 😊 Thank you for a great stay 😊

We were allowed to spend our first Christmas and New Year's Eve in Sweden at Johann's and felt very comfortable. We were there with four adults, 2 kids and a dog. The house was large enough for that. Johan decorated the house for Christmas especially for us. Everything was ready when we arrived. You could feel right at home. He was always available for questions and small problems and when the coffee maker was defective, he quickly brought us a new one. The area is beautiful and you have many opportunities to do something even in winter, whether it's exploring small villages in the area or hiking in national parks.

Unique location by a beautiful lake, modern really nice cabin that had everything you could want and then some. Clear and easy instructions on everything you need. We are more than happy to return here. Maria as a host responds quickly, is very nice and helpful. Recommenders highly!

Cathrine and Kenth share their little paradise with you. You can feel right at home from the start. The house is comfortably furnished, at the top of the hill you always get the sun. This is very cozy !!!

We shone older generation with children and children for a small mini break. We ate well around Karin's large generous table, both inside and out. We appreciated the many outdoor spots. There was always a place in shelter! We all felt welcome, even the dog. Walked during the days. In the evenings we put an intricate puzzle that was in the cabin. We'd love to come back!

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful house! We really felt very comfortable here, both in the house and in the magnificent surroundings. We were out on the lake by boat and could even catch fish which was a real highlight. In addition, we made beautiful excursions in the area and slept wonderfully every night. The fresh eggs from the chickens were great, and we really enjoyed spending time with the cats, dog Ronja, the chickens and of course your lovely cows. We particularly liked the loving little things in and around the house, and as a little extra we even found a geocache nearby. Thanks to the warm temperatures, we also dared to go swimming! Above all, we were able to fully relax and now feel wonderfully relaxed. We're already looking forward to coming back. Warm regards, Julia

We had three beautiful days on the small island. Especially the kids enjoyed the stay very much. In the evening we could make fires and enjoy the tranquility. Unfortunately, there were also many mosquitoes, but we were prepared for that. The location is very nice and quiet. The accommodation itself is very simple, but with everything you need. Refrigerator, gas stove, etc. worked perfectly. The outdoor shower also serves its purpose. Communication with Peter was great and very fast. Definitely to be recommended.

The description “dream house” was extremely accurate! If you are looking for a perfect time at a quiet lake this is the place to go. We will definitely come back

We stayed with our dogs over Christmas and New Year's Eve in the cottage of Conny & Carina. The house is beautifully located on the edge of the forest and is very tastefully decorated with attention to detail. Conny & Carina are wonderful hosts who always made sure that we had everything we needed and that we felt comfortable. Conny even made it possible for us to load our car, although we could not drive into his garage due to the roof box. We felt welcome and at home from the first minute to the last minute and would recommend the cottage 100%. It was a wonderful, quiet vacation. A thousand thanks to Conny and Carina!! We will be happy to come back. 😀

We had a very nice week. The view of the lake every day was great. Surroundings are very beautiful and invites you to take long walks. The cottage itself is comfortably furnished and very well equipped (especially the kitchen). 🌲🫎😊

Great place to stay, close to amazing nature for hiking, biking and kayaking.

This cottage totally met our expectations. The tranquility and nature were very relaxing. Ellinor was a super great host: communicative, helpful, friendly, quickly accessible and she gave us good tips for the area. We felt very comfortable. Their animals were also very likeable to us. We had a great time at the cabin and on the island especially. Definitely something different going by boat as a primary means of transport, overall great experience, shot out and special thanks to Per Arne for the great introductions :)

It is a lovely place where you really can slow down and enjoy the quiet and beautiful nature. The cabin is cozy and it is just perfect to be able to use the canoes. Leif was very welcoming.

We spent almost two weeks in Alvasjö with a family of 8. The place is nothing less than magic. A lovely house, renovated just the way it should be, leaving the historic parts and gently adding modern needs. Sara and Ed were really helpful, always there when needed and very easy to contact. Excellent communication. The area is beautiful, went canoeing, rowing, fishing, mountainbiking, SUP, hiking, Sauna ob the lake, mushroom and blueberry picking. It was not „just another holiday“, it was more than what we all dreamed of when it comes to „holiday in Sweden“. Will certainly come back, a must go when you want to experience a comfortable and exciting holiday in the middle of wonderful swedish nature. Many many thanks for everything, Sara and Ed!

Beautiful cottage, cozy decor and stunning views. Peaceful area and perfect for children, with toys and high chair.

We had a great stay at Axels cottage. We stayed for 7 days and enjoyed swimming, sauna, bbq and the surrounding area. The cottage is located right by a bigger road so there is no easy way to go for shorter walks. We are very happy with our stay 😁
