This little gem is worth five stars in every category. Laurence was a kind, helpful and generous host and the Gite was immaculate - a little oasis with the most lovely, tranquil gardens giving shade and privacy on hot days. The bike routes out of the back door were wonderful. Thankyou Laurence!!

If we could give more than 5 stars we would, this was a great stay, made even better by a very nice host! Whilst we didn’t speak French, the host was very accommodating and helpful and it was easy to communicate over message and small talk. The host let us use their bike for my dad to travel round the area when supporting us do an Ironman in the area so this was very helpful! There has also been a heat wave and very hot weather and the host offered us use of their pool and garden facilities to clean our bikes - again very kind and helpful! The apartment was very clean and did have all the kitchen utensils-facilities you would need for eating in! Overall a very good stay and host also allowed a flexible check out which was a great help as we had a late flight home! Overall great value for money and great host! Thank you very much and we would recommend this accommodation to people visiting the area!

We spent 3 nights in the accommodation. This stay was very pleasant, we were able to enjoy the spa. The host is very friendly and accessible. The city is pleasant (activities, many shops, a beach accessible to dogs, medieval castle, nature area for walking...). However, we stayed with our dog and it was a little awkward in the sense that the accommodation, being semi-private with a small grassy area, was not fully fenced. Our dog was able to pass through the bushes and ended up on the road, fortunately our dog is not a runner. This is the only downside. Apart from that, the stay was very pleasant, we recommend it.

Marie welcomed us very warmly. Impeccable location. There's nothing missing. We spent a week without taking the car, everything is within walking distance, market, restaurant, beach, city center. We highly recommend it. Thanks again to Marie for the sweet treats for our 1st breakfast and her tips for our stay. We will be back no problem.

We had a great family vacation at Nathalie's place. Very reachable and responsive when we had questions beforehand, very good hosting with small gifts. Really great! Really ideal location with respect to the sea. I recommend it without so much as a second thought!

Great stay at Cathy and Marco's! The place is beautiful, peaceful and perfect for nature lovers. Birdsong replaces the sound of cars, as few vehicles drive nearby. A true haven of peace! The hosts are warm, flexible and available. The house is full of charm and reflects the personality of its owners! Well-equipped, cooking there is a pleasure. The jacuzzi works well, is very clean and well appointed in a closable glass roof. The view adds to the SPA experience! The outdoor area and garden is very pleasant: covered table, sun loungers and ping pong are available. Our cat also enjoyed it a lot, and it was safe even outside! Very responsive host. Listing as described, quiet. We only stayed one night but the house is very well equipped and functional. Ideal location for a short or long stay.

A little piece of heaven! Quiet, close to the lake and good restaurants, the accommodation is perfect for a few days of disconnection and relaxation. Swimming pool, children's playground, sun loungers, there is something for the whole family. The accommodation is impeccable, spacious and very well equipped. Of course, we'll be back...

Very nice house tastefully decorated. You feel at home there. Perfect for 6 people with a beautiful garden. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the pool due to the weather! Amandine is very welcoming and responsive. Dogs are welcome (be careful though, there is a small turtle in the garden). I highly recommend it! We'll come back sometime!

We had a perfect short stay at Christelle's apartment. The setting is beautiful, quiet and green, with a beautiful view of the golf course from the terrace. The apartment is very nice, bright, clean and perfectly equipped, ideal for relaxing. Christelle was a welcoming and responsive host. We highly recommend this address and would not hesitate to return!

Great apartment with great views, a large pool is located in the complex, the private secure parking is worth a lot. Elisabeth was always reachable. Most restaurants on this side of the harbor are about a 15-minute walk. On the other side, you can simply take a ferry in a few minutes for €1.10 per trip or €3 for the day ticket with any number of trips.

We spent 4 absolutely perfect days and 3 nights in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie. The apartment is ideally located with an amazing view of the sea, even more beautiful than in the photos! Everything is perfectly thought out in the accommodation: clean, well-equipped, comfortable — nothing missing. It's a real cocoon, very relaxing. We'll be happy to go back. We had a wonderful weekend discovering the charms of the Marais and northern Vendée. The setting is peaceful and rejuvenating, with plenty of activities nearby. We enjoyed local specialties like brioche and oysters, and ended our stay with fun pool games at the property — a real treat!
