We felt very comfortable right away. Great apartment with everything you need. Best location on the canal and everything is within walking distance. Simply GREAT.

We loved this place and rate it 5 stars and would stay there again. My only two points for other guests are: a) like all similar narrow houses typical of the area, be prepared for steep staircases. It's a work out and balancing act with heavy cases, but as I say, quite normal for this type of property. But requires a level of fitness not everyone has. But it adds to the charm. b) the communal staircase leads directly into your kitchen and deck, ie there is no physical door to stop anyone wondering up. The ad explains you have exclusive use, and we saw never saw anyone in 'our space,' but it might worry someone more nervous than us. There IS a lockable door to the bedroom/living room. Neither of the above were issues for us; the place is cozy and quaint, the local eateries were fun and it didn't take long to stroll to the tourist centers.

Had a fantastic stay at Lester's place. Apartment is in a wonderful location with so many great bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. It was also easy to connect to public transport when we wanted to go further afield. Apartment was clean and was exactly as described. Lester was a great host. I would highly recommend a stay in this property!

Staying with Peter and his family was one of the best Airbnb experiences I ever had. Peter is friendly, helpful and very generous. The location is superb, as it gives immediate access to the city centre, but it also allows you to go the other way and explore more peaceful spots outside the city centre. I highly recommend this location for longer stays (I stayed a little over a month).
