Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Uri

Very welcoming, tidy host. The place is very clean with new renovations and a nice view. Free parking downstairs. Lots of hiking trails, 1km is nice Lake Golzensee. All bedrooms in the house are separate, two bathrooms. And a nice, nice energy that contributes to the recuperation of strength and spirit

This was a great, eventful week in a great house! The newly built wooden house is cozy, exudes the charm of a mountain hut - but is also modern and very comfortable. It doesn't get any better than that, you can't build a better accommodation like this! We took some hikes in the immediate vicinity (on Christoph's friendly recommendation) and can recommend the house and Christoph as a host without restriction. If we vacation at Lake Lucerne once again, we will certainly return here.

We only stayed here two nights, but will definitely be back. The Airbnb is perfect for families or friends. We didn't notice that there was no Wi-Fi, but I think it was even more fun without the Internet. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, and there is a large terrace for grilling and relaxing.

Very nice and spacious home. Extremely lovingly furnished. There's nothing missing. There are many cozy seats, games and even a piano. We enjoyed the large terrace and the beautiful garden with herbs, strawberries, currants and cherries with our four children. We could even see a golden eagle. Josef gave us great tips for varied excursions in the Surselva. And there was plenty to discover: alphorn blowers, marmots, hiking, toboggan run, a herd of donkeys, modern art, a procession and medieval chapels. In short: We highly recommend the house and would be happy to come back. Thank you very much for everything Josef!!

The cottage is located above a slope with nice mountain view like the rest of the cottages. Engelberg station, walk 5 mins flat ground, another 3 mins up a short slope with 2 curve road (not much car passing thru). The surrounding is peaceful and quiet. There are many shops, coop supermarket, avec, restaurants, post office etc. 45 mins train ride from Luzern. Town people are friendly here. Going to Mt Titlis is also easy as there is free shuttle bus, 1 stop to base station. We also walked to Abbey. The cottage is 2 storey, basement where dryer and washer (no detergent) is. 2 toilets with bathroom towels, no shower gel or shampoo. 1 thing bad was communication with keyholder. we did email her timing prior. When we arrived, we waited 1 hr for her and contacted airbnb support as Irene was not responsive. When she came, she's only fluent with German and took a while to figure out the key combination box to retrieve the key. She also not familiar with google translate when we tried to talk.

Very nice house in front of a great backdrop. Beat and family were incredibly friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the weather was not on our side, but we used the hot tub and the fireplace in front of the house all the more extensively. We can only recommend staying with Beat to everyone.

Exceeded expectations! Fantastic location with amazing views. Wonderful access to hiking and activities. So much to do within 10 minutes drive. Complete privacy. Comfortable home with washer and dryer, dishwasher, comfortable beds, balcony, and nice shower. View of the surrounding valley, including the waterfall. Amazing host - provided fantastic ideas for hiking, bakeries, and other activities. Wish we had more than five days and hope to return. Worked very well with 4 people for a larger family. The deck and outdoor space was fantastic. An amazing part of the country made even better by a wonderful place to stay.

Already for the third time we come and experience a great holiday on the slopes and in the evening in a cozy cabin. Thank you so much for letting us come and everything is as uncomplicated and friendly as possible. Until next time;-)

Me and my boyfriend André spent 4 days here. The apartment location is amazing and the apartment itself had everything we needed! The check in process was easy and the communication with our host Martin was quick via the airbnb app. We are so pleased with our stay here! We highly recommend it to others.

Engelberg was absolutely gorgeous, and Andrea's apartment is in an ideal location. It's close enough to walk to the train station and grocery stores, but far enough away from the main area that it's very quiet and peaceful even when the town itself is quite busy. The hiking trails in the area are really fabulous and the apartment made a perfect basecamp. We also had basically everything we needed in the apartment -- the fridge was spacious enough for groceries for a week; there's a plethora of utensils, pots, and pans for cooking; and so we were able to cook for ourselves throughout our stay. Andrea was also very helpful -- he gave extremely detailed instructions on how to get into the apartment and nice recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. Overall, this is a truly wonderful little apartment in a magnificent part of Switzerland!

Patrick's place was a lovely home nestled in the mountains. It is fully equipped with everything you'd need - especially if you are with family. The kitchen has all the necessary cookware and utensils, with a proper dishwasher. The washer and dryer were very welcome with unpredictable weather. Lastly the small touches like the Sonos speakers for your own dance party or the charging station such that you didn't need to fuss too much with adapters made the stay so much more pleasant and worry free. Check-in and check-out were seamless and Patrick was flexible and accomodating to all our needs. Absolutely recommend this place for folks visiting the lovely country and you will not regret it.

We had a wonderful stay in Disentis!! The apartment was spotless clean and the kitchen was equipped with everything you need and more. Nothing was missing! The location of the apartment was perfect! In walking distance to the cable car which takes you up the mountain and to a large Coop + some restaurants. The communication with the host was great! We received very detailed information about our stay upfront. In addition they checked if we arrived safely and asked if everything was okay. And also during our stay they reached out again. THANK YOU!!

This is a very sweet place, close to the train station and to the Titlis lifts. Pictures and description are accurate, and communication with Sandra was great. Engelberg has lots to offer. Highly recommended.

Great location. Great atmosphere. If you're going by train, there's a station 100 meters away. If you are driving, there is a parking space in the underground garage that gives access to the elevator that goes to the Studio's door. There's a COOP supermarket next door, it's got everything. There is a laundry nearby. Restaurant under the building, small square in front, Mount Titlis facing the balcony. Anyway, a sensation only felt by being in the place. And finally, a polite and helpful host. Thank you, Matthias!

Comfortable and clean apartment with very friendly and helpful hosts. We’re very grateful for their suggestion to drive through the Gottthard Pass on our way from Altdorf to Lake Como - such a scenic drive! Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

That stay at Alice's was amazing. On the mountains, beautiful views the property is located in a peaceful and quite location. The apartment itself is well maintained, good heating and had all amenities. Its suitable for 2 families, although one bathroom could be a little challenging. Alice is a wonderful host, she was always available, shared helpful instructions and was very accommodating. Will definitely come back whenever possible. One last thing, the road to the property is a little tricky, since i was driving a van it was challenging. Reach out to Alice for advice on how to reach the property, especially if you are driving in the dark.

Everything tip top, everything worked out great. Very pleasant apartment, enough space for 2 people, very well-equipped kitchen, beautiful spacious sun terrace. James is very helpful and friendly, has helpful tips and responds quickly. Thank you for the good care, we felt very much at home. Good starting point for our bike tours in the area. Supermarket and restaurants right around the corner. Only the bell tower next door rings very loudly and very frequently (every quarter of an hour) and at 7 am also very long. The Bimmel program runs between 5 a.m. and midnight. If you are a light sleeper, it's a little annoying :-)

Friendly greeting with a small gift. Nicole and Stefan are very nice, helpful and know a lot about the area. I enjoyed the stay very much. The studio is super clean, quiet and it has everything. The location is ideal: close to public transport, supermarket, farm shops, cable car, mountains, lake, forest. I'll be back!

We had the best stay in Engelberg. This stay had the most beautiful views and the sweetest touches inside. We were walkable distance to everything we needed. I loved our stay so much and hope to return one day!

Ideal apartment for hikers and peace seekers. There were two of us staying for 3 nights in this modern apartment. The well-equipped kitchen, the immediate feeling of well-being and the practical underground parking with lift access impressed us.
