Beachfront vacation rentals in Upplands-Bro Municipality

Ellenor's house is located outside the small village of Ekerö, just 40 minutes (approx.) by car to Stockholm (if you want, there is a nice boat from Ekerö that goes to the city centre). The house is clean, and has everything you need for a cozy stay: a well equipped kitchen, TV, Wi-Fi, a large deck terrace, a well kept garden, where our little dog Lina loved to run free. We were two couple of friends and we really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, the walks in the area (200m. there's the lake) and the dinners on the deck terrace. If you love Stockholm but you prefer to live in the nature not so far from the city, this is the place to stay. Ellenor is a good host and she is always available in case of need.

Our family of 3 had a wonderful week. The house is quiet, spacious, and beautiful. Lake Mälaren was just a couple of minutes walk from the door. Our 9 year-old enjoyed the trampoline in the back garden, braving a swim from the private jetty, and regularly seeing deer and horses nearby. We also enjoyed the guitar, because we could play it outside with nobody close enough to be annoyed by it! For somewhere that feels remote, it was easy to drive to Stockholm (1 hour). There’s an old steamboat that picks up from another jetty less than 10 minutes walk from the house, which took us to the pretty town of Mariefred. We also had an afternoon in a canoe on another lake, about 40 mins away, which we’d highly recommend. (Search 'kanotkungen sedan 1975'.) Jennifer was the perfect host — generous and excellent at communication. She met us on arrival, showed us around the house, and shared lots of great tips for places to visit, things to do, and where to get great cakes and food.

Really nice place for a chilled vacation right next to the water

Have visited this place several times, and it's perfect for the purpose. The large space on the third floor is as made for purposes that need a lot of space. The kitchen is social, and the bedrooms are comfortable and dark.

Vincenzo’s place was perfect for our visiting family. He was very responsive to any questions and made us feel very welcome. It felt like a home away from home. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Thanks for an excellent stay.

We spent six days at Alberto's place in Stockholm last week, and everything was exactly as Alberto described. We were extremely satisfied with our stay at his home and with Alberto, who was incredibly helpful. The location was fantastic; being within walking distance to the metro made getting around super easy, and being right next to the forest gave us peaceful and enjoyable moments. I booked this home for my in laws to stay for our wedding and they absolutely loved everything. My father in law even wanted to move in 😂

This is an amazing home . Better than the photos . Emelie was really helpful and they have created a beautiful home with a great pool , Sauna , Sun Room , Cinema room , balconies etc. ( all as listed ). Great base for a vacation near Stockholm . Families of deer coming right up to the garden and red squirrels in the trees . We had a car but got a taxi a couple of times and Uber , 20 mins approx was €14/€16 to centre of Stockholm. Plenty of supermarkets a short drive away . Given how nice the home is and the pool area ,small children would need to be supervised . We were concerned that the house would not live up to the photos ,but it exceeded our expectations. We had a great vacation and this is really a unique and special place . Thanks again to Emelie and Magnus for making us feel so welcome and they even left lots of food for us when we arrived . Which was really thoughtful and a nice start to the vacation.

Helena's house met our expectations in every way. It is located in a residential area, very nice and quiet. We even had the chance to spot a rabbit in the garden😊. Stockholm city center is very quickly accessible, the tram passes just down the street. We enjoyed the quality of the amenities, the space in the house and the neat decoration, with beautiful pieces of Scandinavian design. We also had a great time in the garden: morning coffee on the terrace, lunch in the sun and end of the day in the spa It's a very nice place that we recommend without reservation. Helena was always responsive and attentive to the comfort of our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Stefan's house. The house is really amazing - super well done with a lot of attention to detail. We are a family of four and had lots of space (more than enough). The terasse is great for having dinners 7 barbecues outside (with a fixed installed grill station). The garden is nice and of course there is a trampoline for the kids. The lake is just over the fence for swiming and a small beach nearby. Travelling to downtown is convenient (bus station right outside the door), but takes around 35-40 min. Definitely a great place for families, that want to get some nature. If you look for the Stockholm downtown experience with tons of restaurants around the corner maybe not the ideal place, but feasible as well. Really nice and laid back hosts! Great villa in a small town with nice swimming pool and jacuzzi. A really wonderful place to relax. And yust ten minutes walk to a station that brings you to the centre of Stockholm. Sometimes there are planes coming over but I was the only one in my family noticing them. The host Simon does everything he can to give you and your family a wonderful stay. My kids loved this place, for them it was the best of Sweden.

Beautiful house, in a fabulous location. When we arrived, the house was all lit up with Christmas lights - it felt really cosy, warm and inviting. Jani was there to meet us when we got there to show us around the house and the facilities (hot tub and saunas). As we were there for Christmas, we were delighted to see the kitchen had all the pots and pans needed, plus loads of serving dishes. It was perfect! It’s a beautiful house, and one which we look forward to visiting in the summer some year to make use of the swimming pool.

If you could give 10 stars, we would. The place is fantastic. Even nicer than in the pictures. Helena and Magnus are wonderful hosts who leave nothing to be desired. Whether sauna, a hot bath in the Jacuzzi or the best tips for the area, you get everything from them. For us an absolute plus: the cozy construction trailer, a few meters to the lake and - oh - just everything.

We had a fantastic time on Tramholmen. Idyllic, peaceful island living with beach and pool swimming and private paddleboarding, yet within easy access (although does require planning with the boat times from Ropsten - sl .se is your friend here) to the centre of Stockholm. Highlights for us were swimming on Sodermalm, Gronalund theme park and a day trip to Birka. Annelie and Hans were truly amazing hosts! They went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and enjoyed every moment of our stay. The island itself was absolutely charming, surrounded by beautiful nature and offering a peaceful escape from the city. One of the highlights was that Annelie and Hans came to pick us up by boat—even making multiple trips to accommodate us, and helped with everything they could while we stayed there. I’ve never experienced such warm and generous hospitality in airbnb. Its a rental where we really felt like at home and part of the island community. This was an authentic Swedish island experience and by far the best stay I’ve ever had on Airbnb! I would love to come back again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat by the water in Stockholm. You won’t regret it—staying here will be one of the best decisions you make!

We had a lovely 5 day stay at Nina and Bjorn’s place . Very comfortable and as advertised. About 30 -40 minutes to the centre of Stockholm . Regular local bus and good connections to the Metro . Lovely local beach to walk around . So many things to see in Stockholm and the archipelago. Nina and Bjorn were excellent hosts . We hope to return. Lidingo a nice island.

Perfect place! Everything was nice and just as described.

Marlené and Christofer were very friendly and extremely helpful with clear communication. The cabin is in lovely surroundings with plenty of nature. We were lucky to see the deer in the garden. The bed was very comfortable. Transport links are easy to navigate and within easy walking distance. I will definitely stay here again

Fabulous house, beautifully restored and decorated. Great location by the water to watch the boats go by and for a morning swim :) Very well equipped kitchen. Börje is a great host, greeted us at check-in and took time to explain everything. Always quick to respond to messages.
