Soak up the light in the double-height living room at this stunning stone sanctuary with arched stained glass windows. Explore the independent shops in the ancient market town of Bradford on Avon, then whip up a snack in the farmhouse-style kitchen.
“This place is simply beautiful. Secluded, spacious and homely it offered exactly what I was after to surprise my partner for a lovely little romantic break away. The host sent through a welcome message with all the details on gaining entry, where to go if you wanted to eat out and the contact details if you needed anything. There was a lovely little rest of goodies on arrival (drink and shortbread) along with milk in the fridge. The bedroom in the mezzanine area is spacious and the bed very comfortable! The kitchen has everything you need and the shower room, although downstairs from the bedroom, is light and fresh and has all the toiletries. We ended up eating at The Bunch of Grapes in Bradford-on-Avon, which the food was amazing! Would definitely recommend if you’re happy to spend that little bit more. Could not fault it or the service. Following night we ate at the local village pub, The New Inn. Again lovely, decent pub food, with very good portions. Again could not fault. Will definitely look to return at some point.”
Fix breakfast in a daylight-filled kitchen with wood countertops and dine al fresco at a cosy table on the decked patio of this contemporary home. Kick back on a chaise sofa with a book in an open-layout room with potted plants and trendy decor. Ideal for couples, families or a group of friends, the newly built contemporary barns in rural Wiltshire, just 7 miles from Bath and less than 2 miles from the historic Town of Bradford on Avon are the perfect location for a relaxing countryside getaway.
“Fabulous! We spent a lovely weekend at the barn for my husbands birthday and it’s safe to say it exceeded all our expectations! Beautiful location, stunning accommodation and child friendly. We went with our two girls (age 2 & 3) and they loved it! They loved watching and feeding the horses just outside the back door and Sharky was a firm favourite! We spent one full day at Avon valley wildlife park which they loved and was only half an hours drive away. Nearby Bradford-on-Avon was great for a wander around- recommend The Teapot for doorstop sandwiches and lovely cakes! Plenty of independent shops to wander around and a fab playground to tire out little people! The barn itself is very well appointed- we cooked most of our meals there (a must with small kids!). Thank you so much! We hope to return with our dog next time!”
