Ockerman Brook A-Frame Glamping

NicholasRating, 5 stars3 days ago
The host was friendly and quick to reply to questions. The A frame was easy to find and is nicer than pictured. Bed was firm but comfy. Lots of portable lighting to help navigate the property when it’s dark.. I really enjoyed the multiple seating options to catch the wild life (deer, birds, rabbits) and do some star gazing. there is also a walking trail worth checking out. Overall a peaceful retreat from the busy week. I will return.

Mimi’s Place

Our stay was brief but we felt instantly at home. So comfy, with some very thoughtful touches. And Marian was so great about communicating and making us feel welcome. Great bargain, too, by the way.
A view from the deck shows a flowing river bordered by trees and grass. Sunlight casts shadows on the deck railing, and clouds hover in a clear blue sky. A gentle breeze is suggested by the movement of branches in the foreground.

Riverside- King size master, high speed internet

I came up from FL to visit family for a week in NY. Amy’s place was affordable and perfect for what we were needing. A little old timey cabin in the mountains. Close to good food, stores, and the river!
A compact kitchen area with wooden cabinetry and modern appliances is visible, featuring a refrigerator, stove, and sink. A small dining table with two black chairs is positioned nearby. The warm wood paneling creates a cohesive and inviting ambiance throughout the space.

Cozy Country Cabin

JohnRating, 5 stars3 days ago
They truly went above and beyond with this place. We genuinely just needed a quiet place off the beaten path to sleep for the night, but we were absolutely blown away by the amount of consideration that has been put in to ensure a good stay. We usually use my wife’s account so my profile doesn’t reflect this, but together we have stayed at over 50 bnbs in the last 5 years every where from southern Florida to middlebury Vermont and have not encountered so many personal touches, included amenities, and the little binder actually had useful and helpful information as opposed to just the WiFi password and a few brochures.

Peaceful Cabin w/Sacred personal healing space!

JenniferRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We had an absolutely peaceful and lovely stay at Julie’s guesthouse: an oasis for folks who need a break from the chaos of life! The property was stunning, with trails for walking, a pond with a dock, and beautiful nature to behold. We even borrowed a couple of bikes and took a nice ride around the area to Melody Lake. Julie has an incredible barn on her property that is used for yoga and other meditation activities. We were lucky enough to participate in a special sound healing with members of the local community and can’t wait to see what develops there. We plan to return any time we need a getaway + reset. The home itself is immaculate and incredibly cozy. The deck off the upstairs bedroom was perfect for morning coffee and SUPER star-gazing at night. The kitchen is well-equipped and the bathroom is perfect. We can’t say enough about our few blissful days! All of that aside, the best part was getting to know Julie. She is a special person and we are grateful our paths have crossed.

This place is all about relaxation and quiet. The two horses B and Lee are both very nice and friendly! We really enjoyed feeding them apples!! Daryl is really great and is around if you’re in need of anything!! Looking forward to a return next summer!!

Adorable Cottage in the Woods

RyanRating, 5 stars8 months ago
The Cottage in the woods was exactly what we had hoped it would be, a peaceful getaway from busy life. There were so many things to like such as the friendliness that Amy and Josh displayed, or the chickens and turkeys that kept us company. Speaking of company, Maggie was a fun-loving pup who we threw a stick for and got to walk with. Meanwhile, the house was large but homey and we had lots of fun playing ping pong and enjoying the creek in the porch area. The house was also a bit chilly in the fall, but Amy and Josh were accommodating and had a space heater that made it feel much warmer. I should add that we had the pleasure of visiting during the Applefest a Greene town festival where we got to see 96 artisans and craft tents and enjoy plenty of fall food. Lastly, I just wanted to say that if you are looking to get away and have a weekend or week for yourself or with a partner then this is the place to go!
