Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Unguja North Region

The apartment is perfect for walking to restaurants and enjoying the beautiful beach. Different to most airbnbs we’ve stayed at - Not totally private as it is more of a family hospitality feeling rather than hotel style airbnb. We appreciated the local recommendations and daily clean, comfortable bed, breakfast, meals on request, and the onsite general manager. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and flexible for timings. It is Zanzibar so expect some small hiccups such as short power/wifi/water cuts - a small price to pay for paradise.

Room was right on the beach! We were treated very well and the host replied quickly when we had questions.

The best place i would recommend.. Its the peaceful heaven i would have say... Mr.Boris... my man... he is always there for you... Olga is super friendly couldn't see her directly... but she helped me a lot though immediate response over the chat. The place is the best for the price and consist of 2 pools.

We stayed for a month. The place is nice and clean, situated in the village. The local guy, Saidi, who is always at the property is very helpful and kind.

What a relief to have a Dutch host – so nice when you understand each other right away! David sensed that I was mainly coming for my peace of mind. And I found it: a generous swimming pool, a private kitchen to fry an egg, and as a cherry on top – David himself, who also cooks deliciously. The beach is within a nice walking distance, but without crowds: ideal for those who want to decide for themselves when (and with whom) they visit the sea. David's place is quiet, spacious and relaxing. Booklet by the pool, or on the road with one of his fun excursion tips. He speaks Swahili, loves a chat, and is a great host. Recommended for solo adventurers like me, but also for couples in love or families. The villas are spacious, stylish and… well, you don't really want to leave.

The villa more or less meets the description, needs some renovation. Close to the beach and kids loved the pool. The surrounding is not so nice because of construction all around. Very nice communication from Eliasa, thank you very much!

Great place to stay in Northern Zanzibar. My family of four had plenty of space in the house and we really enjoyed the pool and the beautiful sunsets. I recommend!

Beautiful location on the beach of Kiwengwa in Cairo in front of the sandy tongue. Very well restored house, it keeps the African taste intact with the right comforts . Excellent cuisine nearby and also wanting at home with the good Ramma, as well as a driver also as a cook. I loved the varied landscapes of the tides that created beautiful natural pools. Highly recommend. I'll definitely be back.

This little pad was perfect. Quiet, secure and basically in the heart of Nungwi beach. Beach and restaurants were a 2 minute walk. Supermarkets a 1 minute walk. The accommodation has two amazing bedrooms each with ceiling fan and AC. Hot showers. Also you get an amazing breakfast with the stay. Fresh mangoes, pineapples and Avacado. Eggs on toast and an endless supply of coffee. Maurizio being the Italian host lent me his perculator and Lavazza coffee from the old country. Any minor issues Maurizio and Priska attended to asap and were an absolute pleasure. We stayed for three weeks and did not want to leave. Thanks again Maurizio and Priska

Very nice place to stay! I enjoyed the views of the ocean and you’re directly off the beach. It’s actually the best villa over there. Restaurant is a couple steps away and has good food but the chef is also talented. I’d definitely stay again.

Raul’s place was amazing, we had a great time there during our stay, the Villa is walkable distance to Nungwi beach and some places to eat around there. Staff was all very friendly and helpful Mr. Medi, Faki, Meki and Islam were all very kind, responsive and made our stay extremely comfortable. Would highly reccomend staying at this property again!

Small cozy house, comfortable bed, clean enough. Very hospitable and friendly host, sincerely ready to help with any issue. Good location, close to a wonderful beach. But, most importantly, don't expect European living conditions and you won't be disappointed.

Kudra was a lovely host. The place looks just like the pictures. It's very clean and spacious and quite close to Kendwa beach. Kudra was also really accomodating with our check-in and check out times as both times our flight times were changed by the airline. Would highly recommend.

The place is so nice and so center,it’s so easy to access all the important needs like restaurants,bars and beaches,we really enjoy it.

We stayed 7 weeks at Saids place and liked it very much. From the beginning we had 2 people whom we could anytime ask for help. We felt very safe at Saids place and did not even shut the appartment with a key since there is a big fence around the buildung. The area in which the appartment is located is rather quiet the village ist about 5 minutes walk away and there are not many tourists around. The walking distance to the beach and a very nice resort called Waikiki is about 5 minutes away. Said himself was very helpful and friendly. He invited us for a great homemade dinner (the best we had in Zanzibar) and repaired Christians bicycle. We would be glad to come back stay there and meet Said again.

I stayed at the Monolo apartment for two weeks. The apartment was beyond my expectations. I felt like I was at home and had no trouble with getting around. Everything was to my standard and Abdulkarim made sure everything was accessible and had no trouble. The place was sparkling clean and everything was in working order. I had no troubles with electricity and water throughout my stay. Abdulkareem shared he’s Netflix account too which was very kind of him to do so. The WiFi was very fast and had good connection. The security system was top notch. I would recommend this apartment to anyone that’s looking for a clean, private and home away from home. The apartment was very affordable and worth the pay. Thank you Abdulkareem for the lovely experience. I would definitely love to stay at your apartment whenever I’ll be in Tanzania if you’ll have me 😊

Sheila was very kind and always cleaned our apartment perfectly. The location is excellent for accessing shopping options or the beach. The complex is clean, safe, and beautiful, with a great pool area. We will definitely come back again.
