What can I say about Crow’s Hermitage that the other reviews haven’t already captured? If you’re considering other options—stop looking. You’ve found the perfect place. As many others have noted, the photos can’t possibly convey the enchantment that settles over you the moment you arrive. From the character of the home to the serene outdoor spaces to the thousand-year-old parish next door, it feels like stepping into the pages of a fairytale. When it comes to hosts, Colm is in a league of his own. He went above and beyond with directions, thoughtful recommendations, and any request we made. By the end of our stay, we didn’t just feel cared for—we felt like family.

Fiddlestone lodge is a stunning property. We went as a family of 14 and felt we all had our own privacy, as the house is so spacious. The outdoor area by the hot tub is an amazing social area - we spent most of our time there. The games area was well used too. The barbecue was top of the range and had the whole family fed in no time!! Nick is so accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be back again. Highly recommend anyone to stay here, you won’t be disappointed.

This house provides a great location for a visit to Northern Ireland. 5 minute drive to the stunning beaches such as Ballygally and Drains Bay. Equally as easy to get into Belfast. 30 minutes easy drive. The house is very well equipped, with everything you need. Very comfortable. Good local supermarket nearby.

Visited Julie and Steve’s place with the girls for my best friends 30th, they were amazing hosts very responsive, clear check in instructions and great recommendations for takeaways close by. The house was beautiful and the surroundings were also beautiful. The hot tub was an added bonus and they even added extra touches for my friend’s birthday which was lovely. We had a ball and would definitely recommend! Thank you Julie and Steve!

We stayed here with our two sons and our dog. The house was so comfortable and cosy. The space was perfect and so well designed and maintained. The gardens were fab and very secure so the dog could potter around and we could leave the door open. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen was easy to use. I’d highly recommend this house to anyone travelling this direction. As an aside, the local area is stunning. We completed many walks and many cafes etc were dog friendly so we could bring her inside which was so easy when the weather was bad. This is my new favourite location in Ireland as it was just so easy and every single person we met was so nice. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this house to friends and family!

Great accomodation for group of adults, very spacious. Bedrooms beautifully decorated, loved the white linen and curtains. Plenty of car parking.

Everything was perfect, nice jacuzzi, very spacious house, everything what you need to stay included (pans, pots, cups..), very clean inside. One thing what wasn’t perfect was smell from cows farm which is very close to house (not whole day, just from time to time), if somebody don’t have a problem with that and like “country side vibes) I’ll say its 10/10 👍

Jill and Alistair could not have been better hosts. From initial booking inquiry through checkout, they were incredibly helpful, responsive, friendly, and went the extra mile without any prompt. Directions to the stay were crystal clear, the property is immaculate, beautiful, private, and well located for the exploration of Finad and all of Donegal. Rathmullan is a wonderful town, and I can not recommend enough a stay with Jill, and Alistair, and especially their wonderful dogs. Alistair was extra helpful in navigating the area, providing recommendations, asking for feedback, and saving a few strokes up at Portsalon Golf Club. If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay well within reach of some of Ireland's most beautiful drives, landmarks, and scenery, this is the place to be. We have travelled quite a bit over the last few years, and this stay was the best we have experienced due to not only location, but the hospitality of Jill and Alistair. A review of 5 stars is too few.

Nice place to stay. map location took me a little further up the hill but turned around and found the place with a quick phone call.

Just back from our stay the apartment was spotless and had everything you could need and more. It was easy to find and clear instructions for access. Walking into the apartment it was so homely and warm and the view was amazing. The beds were lovely and comfortable. We had 2 dogs with us and the outside patio and grass area were so handy and closed in. The apartment is so handy for nearby amenities shop , coffee shops etc. We couldn't fault the apartment and John's gift of wheaten bread was appreciated. We would definitely return and couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Grahams place was lovely, beautiful surroundings. Very close to the town of Letterkenny only 10 min drive. Place was lovely very comfortable, hot tub was amazing great addition for the price your paying great deal . Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to come to Donegal

This is a fantastic apartment in a really lovely part of Donegal. The apartment was spotlessly clean, airy, and beautifully furnished with a well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and powerful showers. We loved the outdoor terrace with a fire pit and the most amazing views of Portnablagh harbour and bay. Cove restaurant is just across the road and Dunfanaghy (with grocery store, pubs, restaurants and coffee shops) is a 3 minute drive. This is the perfect location for exploring the beaches, castles, and forest parks of North Donegal. Also the perfect location for just chilling out on the terrace and enjoying the views. Hilary, Alan and Joanne are excellent hosts, great communication and a warm welcome on arrival. Lot's of nice touches to make you as comfortable as possible during your stay. Highly recommend this property.

Prime location and impressive bnb. would live to come down again

We had a lovely 2-night stay at Sleepy Hollow while in town for a friend’s wedding. Ron and Iris were fantastic hosts, so kind, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. We’d happily stay again and highly recommend it to others!

We had lovely stay at the leafy loft, Gillian was a great host very helpful & friendly. The place itself was just beautiful, very private area to enjoy hot tub area. Would definitely come back here again!

This is one of the most beautiful rentals that I have ever experienced. The location is fantastic with mesmerizing views of the ocean and is very peaceful. A wonderful place to relax. The apartment itself is 5-star. Beautifully furnished, of a high standard and extremely clean. All amenities available. Jill and Michael are great hosts ensuring that all is well with their guests.

The cabin was lovely - a beautiful, private place to stay in the north coast. Would definitely go back.

Really enjoyed the stay! Location is lovely. Lots of historical sites within a short distance. Very close to shops, pubs and restaurants. House is gorgeous and in a lovely setting. Would definitely recommend!

One of the best stay we had. Paul was very responsive to all the messages. Clear instructions were given about the check-in and also about the direction to reach the property. Gina was so welcoming. Everything was clean, with all amenities provided that one would need. The cabin was so cosy. It's located in a serene surrounding. The hot tub was too good. Our kid enjoyed playing with the cute dogs and cats, and also in the dedicated play area - so definitely kid friendly too. This place is definitely recommended for those who prefer a calm, quiet and relaxing space.

Great place to stay, only 20 mins to Letterkenny city. Great views from the hot tub. Place was kept very clean. Everything we needed was provided. Instructions on everything, kitchen utensils, toiletries, etc. all in all a very comfy and welcoming place to stay. Very easy to find . Host was very communicative and was always happy to help.

We travelled from Ballycastle just for the weekend for two days for my mum birthday and we had the best time, the weather was gorgeous, the house was really well cleaned and was gorgeous, Hot Tub was the best and we all had a great wee time and would highly recommend without hesitation and Georgia was really helpful and gave all the instructions and will definitely be back again. 🥰🥰

we had a beautiful time my son and I. It made my Father's day very special. The house is spotless clean and full functioning electronics. Bedroom bathroom spotless. Beautiful sitting room with WiFi. There's a beautiful 5min walk to the lake great for fishing. access to local shops . brilliant location. can't wait to return. Thanks Joe and family.
