“I would highly recommend The Douglas it is ideally located on Uddingston Main Street among the many shoos, cafes , pubs and restaurants. The flat is very stylishly furnished and impeccably clean. The owners Ann and Graham are a lovely couple who are on hand to help if and when needed. I will book The Douglas again as my son is at University in Glasgow so I will be returning to Scotland a couple of times a year. Kind regards Michelle”
My place is 2.5 miles from city centre.Just 15 minutes on bus. Train is only 2 stops and station 5 minutes away from my place. Ideal for business , or sightseeing. Free parking outside house. I have 2 friendly dogs,and you can be guaranteed to find my home clean and relaxing. Your room is quiet and the bed super comfy! Breakfast coffee,tea, and eggs, if my hens are laying! NO CLEANING FEE!! My place is ideal for unwinding and I'd like you to think of it as a home from home.
“Highly recommend staying with Gary! He is absolutely delightful! Very polite, respectful, helpful and funny! I was a little nervous travelling on my own especially given I hadn’t been to Scotland prior to. Gary was so helpful with providing tips on “must see” locations and some local knowledge that helped me jam the sights of the highlands and castle to Glasgow into just a few days. His home is warm and loving. His chickens provided us eggs and Gary wiped up the best breakfast to fuel the day!! Very gnarly bloke to spend some having a chat over a viola. And his fur family Rusty and Nina are super cute and wonderful souls!!”
My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). The property is ideally situated for commuting to Glasgow and Edinburgh. The flat is close to restaurants, bars shops and fast food. Being in Motherwell centre it had has access to local amenities, leisure facilities including the Aquatec Complex, Pure Gym and local education facilities. Strathclyde Country park and North Lanarkshire Civic Centre and Theatre are all close by.
“This was one of the best self-catering places I've stayed in, and I've stayed in dozens! Absolutely spotlessly clean, modern, well appointed with thoughtful touches like tea, coffee, fresh milk and orange juice in the fridge plus the basics in the cupboard like salt, pepper, vinegar etc. Absolutely brilliant contact with Sue and she very kindly let me get in early as I arrived in the morning on the night train. First class all round, thoroughly recommended.”
