Farmstay vacation rentals in Tyrrhenian Sea

This was an incredible and relaxing getaway—we honestly wish we had stayed longer. The tower is just as magical as the photos, and the views, olive grove, and pool were even better than expected. The surrounding town is darling and quiet, with just a couple of small restaurants and markets, which made it feel like a true escape. Luca was kind and responsive throughout our stay. Just a few things to note: there are a lot of stairs, and you’ll want a smaller car to navigate the narrow roads leading up to the tower. It’s a real castle, so it’s older and rustic—but full of charm and clearly loved. The only downside was that the hot tub on the roof no longer works, which was a bit of a letdown. Still, we absolutely loved our time here and would highly recommend it.

Hands down one of my best Airbnb experiences. Mario was super communicative from the beginning and checked in on us to make sure the stay was great. The owners, Michele and Anna, were wonderful. It felt like home away from home. They really went out of their way to make sure we felt like we were at home. I would 100% recommend the fish dinner. Anna is an amazing chef! Aside from the perfect stay, be sure to rent a car, scooter, or bike for convenient transportation. Book this place, you won’t regret it!

Raffaella deserves an extra star on the reviews. She is a wonderful host, very welcoming and very responsive. She went out of her way to make dinner reservations for us, at two wonderful restaurants - both in walking distance from her airbnb. The apartment was quiet, clean, with beautiful views. We did a lovely bike ride from town and enjoyed the beauty and quiet at Raffaella’s place. And her regional breakfast was such a treat!!! We hope to come back!

We spent 4 nights at Francesco’s farmhouse and loved every minute. The upstairs apartment is spacious with high ceilings and a great space to relax. There was a basket of toys for the kids to enjoy and Francesco kindly provided some of the amazing wines and olive oil from the farm. The location of the farmhouse is absolutely stunning, with incredible views of the surrounding Tuscan countryside. The pool is beautiful and the perfect place to relax and enjoy the view while the kids loved meeting the dog and cats. The location is perfect and an hours drive to most attractions in Tuscany. We went on a number of day trips during our stay including Florence, Cinque Terre & Pisa, as well as smaller villages like San Miniato & Palaia itself. Francesco is a fantastic host and I’m sure we’ll be back one day!

Wir haben mit Antonio kommuniziert. Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen wirklich übertroffen. Das Haus Ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Antonio hat uns an unserem ersten Abend ein wundervolles Menü gekocht zu einem absolut fairen Preis. Er war jederzeit ansprechbar, wenn wir eine Frage hatten und hat uns auch tolle Tipps gegeben. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder dort hingehen sollte ich noch mal in der Gegend sein. Es ist eine Oase der Ruhe an der sonst recht trubeligen Amalfiküste.

Ein Ort, um zu entspannen und runterzukommen! Die Unterkunft liegt etwas außerhalb, aber es ist traumhaft ruhig und man hat auf der Terrasse einen wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können das Airbnb von Paolo uneingeschränkt empfehlen :)

What an amazing region and an amazing view from this peaceful and beautiful house! This charming place has all you need to enjoy your stay. It was very clean, very comfortable, very pleasant. Petra, your host, is super nice and will welcome you and give you loads of recommendations for wjat to do and where to eat. You will sleep so peacfully there! If there is anything negative to say is that we thought we wouldn't have anyone around, but the Petra and her family live right next to this house, and there are other houses a little bit furthe, also rented out. That being said, this didnt disturb us and Petra's family was super respectful of the guests and quiet. All in all, it we had an amazing stay in this house and in Tuscany.

We had the absolute pleasure of spending three unforgettable days at Paolo and Monica’s 800-year-old farmhouse — and it was hands down the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. The home itself is stunning: full of history, character, and comfort, with every amenity thoughtfully provided. Each morning, Paolo and Monica prepared a beautiful, fresh breakfast spread complete with homemade cakes and warm, delicious options that started our days off with so much care and joy. The hospitality was truly beyond compare — Paolo and Monica are salt-of-the-earth people with hearts of gold. One of the highlights of our stay was visiting with the many animals they lovingly care for. From eagles and owls to donkeys, horses, peacocks, ducks, and sheep — it felt like something out of a storybook. Monica’s passion for rescuing and training animals is inspiring, and added such a special, personal touch to the experience. Thier home is filled with beauty, warmth, and heart. Such a beautiful, peaceful place to spend a few days! It was central to many tours and activities, great for exploring! Luca was a wonderful host and ensured we were happy and had everything we needed. The restaurant was great! I can’t think of anything that would have made our stay better! Completely exceeded our expectations!

Wir haben 7 wunderbare Tage in dem schönen Gästehaus von Andrea und Ralph verbracht. Strategisch sehr günstig gelegen, kamen wir innerhalb von 15-40 Minuten (Autofahrt) in schöne kleine Orte wie Tempio, St. Teresa und Palau sowie an eine Vielzahl schöner Sandstrände und traumhafter felsiger Buchten. Als krönenden Abschluss unseres Aufenthalts konnten wir mit Andrea und Ralph und zwei weiteren freundlichen Gästen eine Segeltour nach Korsika unternehmen (sehr zu empfehlen!). Die Unterkunft entsprach exakt der Beschreibung und den sehr guten Bewertungen unserer Vormieter. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundlichkeit, wir kommen gerne wieder! LG, A&P

We had the best week in Nada’s home with our friends who travelled from Australia. The villa was so cute and cosy and had everything you would need. Nada is a great host who was very responsive and extremely friendly, it was just a shame we didn’t get to meet her in person. The main highlight for us was when Viola (Nada’s daughter) came to the villa and did a cooking class with us. It was fantastic and one not to be missed! We made bruschetta, homemade pasta and sauce and a lemon tiramisu. We made pasta and bruschetta literally every night after as it was just so good. From the villa we travelled around in our hire cars and saw the delightful towns/villages such as San Giginano, Certaldo, Siena, Greve in Chianti, climbed up the hill to Montefioralle, Radda in Chianti, Volpaia and the local village of Barberino Val D’Elsa. I highly recommend you visit each as all close enough for a day out it combine a couple in a day. You will not be disappointed at Casa Di Nada. We loved it 😊

Tommaso und Marta sind wunderbare Gastgeber. Wir wurden mit selbstgemachten Kuchen und Brot empfangen. Es gibt einen SPA Bereich, den Pool haben wir ein paar Mal genutzt. Ein Highlight für unsere Tochter war der Besuch der fattoria, das wir Familien mit Kind sehr empfehlen. Sogar einen Kindersitz für die E-Bikes hat Tommaso montiert. Es war wunderbar. Wir empfehlen es weiter!

Quelle aventure extraordinaire Leonie et Nico nous ont permis de vivre. La vie dans la campagne de Toscane à son meilleure . De plus, à chacun de nos besoins, ils étaient au petits soins et étaient très généreux de leurs conseils. Breathtaking location with views that are exactly what you want in the Chianti region. It was a beautiful place and was very nicely setup. Extremely responsive and helpful host. He provided recommendations and was quick to respond to questions. The house is centered nicely within the region and allows access to many different villages, wineries, and restaurants. An amazing experience and I highly recommend!

Magnifique endroit qui nous a tout de suite charmé, avec vue splendide sur la toscane et sur Sienne qui fait rêver. L’accueil était chaleureux et tout était très beau et très propre. Nous reviendrons!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le cottage de Clarissa et Antonio qui est situé dans un endroit magnifique et au calme mais proche du centre du village de Radicofani. On peut s’y rendre à pied et l’on y trouve de petits commerces et de bons restaurants. Le cottage est bien équipé, propre et très agréable. Nous avons été accueillis par Sara et Marcello qui sont très avenant et très sympathiques. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les petites attentions de bienvenue. Le cottage est très bien situé géographiquement pour visiter les principaux villages de Toscane et profiter de magnifiques paysages. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine en fin de séjour ce qui a été très appréciable. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir séjourner chez Clarissa et Antonio.

What a lovely spot to stay! The rental is quite large, with a spacious downstairs and a nice bedroom upstairs, and the views are amazing. It is located in a gorgeous part of Tuscany. Hosts were friendly. I especially appreciated the hot tub!

Massimo beschreibt den Weg zur Unterkunft sehr gut, das Häuschen liegt etwa 20 min südlich von Florenz mitten in den Weinbergen, sehr ruhig und malerisch in den toskanischen Hügeln. Wir waren zu dritt bei Massimo und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt! Ob Stadtbesichtigung von Siena& Florenz, Weinverkostung oder einfach die Ruhe am Haus genießen: für alles das perfekt geeignet! Das Haus ist typisch toskanisch, Massimo und Beatrice haben viel Arbeit reingesteckt um ihren Gästen einen authentischen Aufenthalt zu bieten: trotzdem aber modern mit Klimaanlage- im Sommer geht’s auch kaum ohne! Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit!

Wer sich auf diese Behausung einlässt, erlebt Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit in einem ursprünglichen Sinne. Sehr erholsam für Geist und Seele. Man sollte sich mindestens 3 Tage Zeit nehmen, wir hatten leider nur zwei. Die Wohnung ist perfekt ausgestattet. Entsprechend der besonderen Lage (mitten in einem alten Dorfkern) eher dunkel, was in den heissen Sommermonaten von grossem Vorteil sein kann. Die Aussicht von dieser Idylle auf dem Berg ist spektakulär. Man wünscht dann schon mal eine Terrasse, aber das ist der einzige Verzicht, der mir einfallen würde. Mit mehr Zeit komme ich gerne wieder. Gerne auch zu zweit. Mit Kindern stelle ich mir den Aufenthalt eher herausfordernd vor. Aber wer weiss, vielleicht entdeckt eine Familie auch neue Seiten im Umgang miteinander.

Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful Airbnb which was thoughtfully restored to reflect the history of the area. You won’t want to leave. We explored Certaldo Alto and Montefioralle- both amazing sites. The pool area was perfection and we couldn’t get enough of the landscape! Couldn’t stayed a week!!!
