House vacation rentals in Twentynine Palms

This was such a great place to stay. A stylish, well equipped & well loved home in a really special location. Highly recommended. The only downside for us was the full moon that spoiled the star gazing!

We stayed at the Airbnb for four nights, and it was wonderful. We encountered three issues during our stay, and our host, Maggie, was very responsive either resolving the problems or offering alternative solutions. The Airbnb was clean and matched the photos provided. I appreciated all the thoughtful details and the high end pieces that the host carefully selected for the home. Before booking, as well as during our stay, Maggie was quick to respond to all of my questions. If we visit Joshua Tree again, we would definitely rebook.

We loved our stay! There was plenty of activities to do at the house and the pool and hot tub were fantastic. The location is in great proximity to Joshua Tree and close enough to town to make a quick run for something but far enough out to be relaxing and peaceful. Our host was super friendly and very responsive.

This house was a dream come true for a quick desert getaway. It feels like a direct extension of the desert landscape around it and is decorated and appointed meticulously to help you feel immersed in the calming desert scene all around you. We didn't want to do much besides drift in the pool and soak up the scenery, and it was a perfect match for our laid-back goals. Close enough to town that we could run in to get some last-minute supplies, but far enough away that town felt non-existent if you were just looking around. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in the desert.

We loved our stay in Jenny’s house and the peace and quiet of this beautiful sanctuary! It’s just as beautiful as the photos and our kids enjoyed all the amenities. Thank you so much! We’d definitely stay here again!

Amazing views and peaceful home but still close to any activity, retail or dining. Very clean & comfortable home with many seating options for privacy or small group conversations. The spa and pool were very clean and heating the spa was a quick and easy process. Ryan was very responsive and pleasant during the entire process and would not hesitate to book this home again.

This place was just like the pictures, picture perfect! The night life was lovely, the home felt so cozy I didn’t have to leave but did to explore the town. Jenn responds very quickly & helpful. When something came up she was quick to fix it. Will be recommending this bnb to friends & family!

I’ve stayed at hundreds of Airbnbs, this was by far and away the best all around experience. Lou and Nat are great hosts. Super responsive and welcoming. And their place is stunning. The house and property are amazing - but it was the little touches that made it so good. The decor, the scent, the music playing when we arrived, a bottle of rose for us, and the list goes on. The house is perfectly curated with everything you could need for a weekend away. Great cookware and supplies, chemex coffee machine, beans from Joshua tree coffee. All around super impressed and grateful.

We had a wonderful stay at this Joshua Tree home! Our family of five was very comfortable, there was plenty of space, and check-in was super easy. The house was well-stocked with amenities that made everything feel convenient and stress-free. One of the highlights for us was the game room. It had a pool table and foosball table that kept everyone entertained in the evenings. The location was also a huge plus, it was just a short drive to the north entrance of Joshua Tree National Park, which made getting in and out super convenient. Highly recommend for families or groups.

Arianna was lovely and very responsive over messages! The place was beautiful and we really appreciated how clean and close to the park it was. Would definitely recommend!

Great place - has everything we needed and more. Coffee with some extra filters (#4 cone!) was nice. Hammocks were our favorite spot at the beginning and end of the day. Fire pit was a great spot to hang in the evening with really comfortable chairs. Can’t beat the location - Would love to come again!

We absolutely adored our stay at Kashmir. The serene setting was utterly magical and the house was beautifully and thoughtfully done. We loved hanging out in the hot tub and watching the stars in the evenings and sitting on the patio drinking coffee in the mornings. The area is stunning with great views and is very private. The outdoor shower is so fun, sexy, and such a vibe. We were impressed by how conveniently located we were as well — despite feeling secluded and rural, we were 15-30min away from basically every adventure we could imagine (including Joshua Tree!). Elizabeth was incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to work with. We loved our time so much that we asked to extend our stay; while Kashmir was unavailable, Elizabeth graciously arranged for us to stay at another of her beautiful spots nearby. We really appreciate the flexibility and loved having the extra day in the area. We’re already planning our next visit!!

Year three at "our" summer home is in the books! So many fantastic new things this year, like an outdoor mural, more outdoor games, and a newly positioned and even easier to use cowboy tub. Also loved the new firepit and can't believe that we roasted hot dogs more often tham s'mores. Looking back at old pics, I had forgotten we had one year without the hot tub platform, so I'm going to give that a belated shout out too, because it's perfect for sitting on those nights you might want to just dip your toes. Anyway, as you can tell, this place only gets better, every time we come. I think one of my favorite things about it is that you truly don't have to leave at all and you can do that without feeling guilty that you aren't doing something else outside of the house. Mike and Kiera are incredibly responsive and thoughtful hosts and they make check in and check out so clear and easy. So grateful to have lucked into finding this gem of a place. Looking forward to 2026!

We had a wonderful stay and only wish we could have stayed longer! Everything was lovely and exceeded our expectations. The location was a perfect base for exploring Joshua Tree National Park. The outdoor amenities were such a nice touch for the evenings, and the AC kept the bedroom nice and cool for comfortable rest. We adored the space and would absolutely choose it again on our next visit to the area.

My fiance and I really enjoyed our stay! If you want a more private and peaceful place to stay, but still close to Joshua Tree National Park, this is a great place to stay. The host was super responsive and helpful as well :) definitely made our first visit to this area memorable.

This property was amazing. I came here with my husband and almost two year old daughter and we all had a great time. We thoroughly enjoyed the whirlpool and the fire pit. We couldn’t figure out how to use the fire pit at first but our host was very responsive and helpful. Once we figure it out, roasting marshmallows and stargazing really became the highlight of our trip. So beautiful! Definitely stay here if you are seeking a peaceful and comfortable experience!

Dylan’s place was perfect for our one night stay. Plenty of space for 2 couples. Kitchen bar area was our favorite , gorgeous wooden countertop! Everything was clean and having our own restroom was a huge plus . We were close to star gazing , JT and all the fun shopping . We will be back .

We enjoyed our stay! Place was very clean, kitchenware was in great condition, hammock was great for stargazing and the fenced yard was perfect for our dogs.

We had the BEST time in Joshua Tree and a huge part of this was Noel's place. It was the perfect combination of cozy yet not cluttered, having everything we need and being perfectly organized. Some days our girls even said they didn't want to leave the house because they had so much fun running around and playing. Being able to take our dogs somewhere on vacation can be so stressful but always ideal and this home made it SO easy. The dogs were secure in the yard, comfortable in the house, and got to make memories with us. Overall, I don't have enough nice things to say about our time here. The cost couldn't be beat (literally felt too good to be true,) the location was close enough to 29 Palms we could be there in 5 minutes so we were away from it during the day. I can't say enough good things about our time here and can't wait to come back again someday!

I absolutely loved this place! Very simple and aesthetic! Had everything we needed to be comfortable and more! Hot tub is amazing with a beautiful mountain scenery alongside a beautiful star view at night. A beautiful place.
