Vacation rentals with a kayak in Tusten

both Laura and Scott were incredibly hospitable and welcoming to their home. my family and I felt very comfortable and it gave us an immense amount of ease knowing that we could always reach out and within minutes we'd have a response to any questions we could have come up with. the location was absolutely stunning and had breathtaking views. in all honesty, the only thing I could possibly complain about was not having had a second bathroom which is not their fault. I've dealt with a handful of hosts before but never someone as easy and inviting as Laura and Scott have been. we are already looking at our calendars to see when we can come back

Dave's place is absolutely phenomenal. The house is immaculate and fully stocked. Dave was very responsive and friendly. It was a great experience and I will definitely recommend this place to friends when they're in the vicinity.

We had an amazing weekend in the Catskills thanks to The Nest at Swiss. We brought five kids and 5 adults and we had the greatest time. Plenty of room to spread out while also a ton to do. We watched movies, played cards, made pop corn, built fires, smoked meat, went fishing, kayaking, played endless games of manhunt and monopoly. The Nest was set up for everything. We really enjoyed the short walks into Jeffersonville and hanging out on the decks. Even though the weather wasn’t perfect for Memorial Day weekend it did not matter to us. The Nest is also really close to Bethel Woods and we took him to concert on Saturday night super convenient location. The house was fully stocked and had everything we can think of. Clean and comfortable cottage across the street from a lovely small lake. Good communication, easy to find. Enjoyed walking the pups around the lake. Plenty of wildlife (deer, ducks) around.

Nora’s house stands out as one of the best that I have stayed in. It feels like visiting the home of a relative who has taken care to ensure modern comforts while preserving the character and history of the home. It’s full of antique furniture and special treasures from china plates to vintage games. The views are breathtaking from indoors or out, and the covered deck allows for grilling or lounging even in the rain. One note: the pull-down stairs to the loft are quite steep. We used it as a daytime clubhouse until our kids, ages 9 and 10, got the courage to sleep up there on our last night. We loved hiking along the creek and visiting the farm animals. Bring tall wading boots if you are visiting in cool weather! Although we could see the adorable pigs and goats from the living room, we thankfully couldn’t smell or hear them unless we went down the hill to say hello. Nora was helpful, responsive, and friendly. I am grateful to her for making our stay so special. Highly recommended!

This was a second stay at Chris's place because our family so enjoyed it the first time. Interestingly, our grandkids remembered it but had a completely different experience as they are older. This time they were old enough to enjoy the kayaks and paddle boards on Lake Huntington! And now there are foosball tournaments! We shared meals, campfire, games and laughs. Hope to enjoy The Fox's Den again. Thanks Chris

We had an amazing three-night stay at this lovely house on Lake Greenwood. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, and we enjoyed every moment. The house provided great comfort, and we had some of the best nights of sleep. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway!

Great stay for my family of four and dog at this property on a beautiful part of the lake! Michael was super responsive at all times. House had everything we needed. Overall, a lovely home with a gorgeous view. Loved kayaking on the lake. At times no one else was there! Very peaceful!

Peaceful surroundings, beautiful lake, wonderful house and amazing hosts! Had an absolute ball kayaking, fishing, and enjoying nature. This was my second trip and can’t wait to go back again.

Everything was just right and matched what is in the photos. The guide book provided was so helpful to know how everything worked in the house and how to access the lake. The property was easy to find, full of wildlife to watch, clean inside, and had all the amenities of home.

The cabin and surrounding area was so beautiful and Karan was a dream host! Would absolutely stay here again and again.

This was our third time staying! This cabin is heavenly - peaceful, quiet, and lots to do! Great fishing! The cabin is clean, and they have everything ready for you. It’s one of our favorite vacations, and we already booked for next year! Mike and Dan are lovely and accommodating. Highly recommend! Great for kids and adults alike. I can’t say enough great things!

Debra and Mike were great hosts and have created a very warm, inviting and comfortable place for those seeking to explore the Catskills. It's a home away from home! There's a grill available which we made great use of, a fire pit to enjoy nature and star gazing, and their two dogs Luna and Roxy are extremely friendly. Highly recommend their place!

Our family loves staying here! Everything needed for a fun long weekend is right here. We love kayaking and swimming in the lake, warming up in the hot tub (we always go a little off season), and having marshmallows at the fire pit. Jo is responsive, the house is clean, and neighbors leave us alone, or kindly throw a beach ball back to the kids.

My husband and I stayed at Kevin’s place for a couple days in early June for a quick city getaway. Kevin was super responsive from the beginning all the way to check out and was a pleasure to communicate with! He is a fascinating well-travelled host with lots of cool souvenirs around the cabin from his travels and sports accomplishments. His place was very relaxing and was exactly what we were looking for with its lake front access and cosy interior. We travel for work and are constantly staying in nice hotels, and we had the most amazing sleeps in the memory foam bed with sheepskin duvet and agreed it was better than any hotel sleep we had recently. So peaceful! We canoed to a Mexican restaurant across the river for lunch which was a fun mini adventure and very delicious! When we checked out we got to meet Bodie, Kevins Golden Retriever that is in the listing photos. Was an awesome experience! We look forward to returning sometime back to Kevin’s Cabin!

Bianks place was cute and exactly as pictures. The beds were quite comfortable. The house was right across the lake for fishing! Kitchen was stocked well with spices, grill had propane, and toiletries were left for us. The jacuzzi came in Handy especially since MDW ended up being quite cool. Overall our stay was good!

Such a beautiful Airbnb!! Very homey, clean, and a lot of amenities are provided! It is also in a great location. 2 minute drive from the lake, 4 minute drive from mini-golf, 5 minute drive from a beautiful park / hiking trail, a 25 minute drive downtown, and about a 15 minute drive to stores (aldi, walmart, lowe’s) and places to eat. Good home, surrounded by good locations. Host is fantastic, and always communicative. Responds fast, answers all questions, and even left us some vital things such as sunscreen and extra bath towels! A 10/10 experience for me and my girls.

Very cozy, private, clean and feellikehome spot. Beautiful house on the lake with everything you need. Definitely would stay there again and recommend to everyone who is looking forward for a little getaway from busy life. Emily’s place is beautiful! Quite, close to the lake and very close to stores and things to do. I love the towel fold on each bed and the drawing pads in the kitchen and bedrooms a cute little trinket we didn’t even know was so much fun lol. The heated floor in the kitchen is AMAZING and I love that they think about the little things like seasonings in the cabinets! The extra kids toys were great for the littles and I love that you thought to put them in a place a 2 year old would definitely open looking to get into trouble lol I appreciate your proactivity! This was the best place to unplug and relax with family or friends! Thank you for your hospitality Emily!

We had a wonderful stay! It was the perfect place to do our 'digital detox' in a lovely cabin with plenty to do (ping pong, fire pit, hot tub and canoeing), and it was well situated to do short drives to hikes, the organic market, horseback riding and more. The house had everything we needed and we were very comfortable reading, playing board games, cooking and relaxing there. (The bedding was comfortable, too!) The hosts were friendly and gave great recommendations. We would definitely stay there again.

This was a great place to stay for a few days just wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle! Quick responses and everything as expected!

My friends and I had a great time during the MDW weekend at Danny’s. The place was just as described and there was plenty of space for the 9 of us. We really enjoyed the game room with all the arcade games and the pool table. Would definitely come back and also recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing trip on a beautiful lake.

The adults and kids had a great time fishing, hiking and relaxing. Anna thought of everything and we loved all of the little extras, like coloring pages of the map of the land and colored pencils for the kids. The kitchen was well stocked and the two fire areas had plenty of wood and everything you could think of to start the fire. We will definitely be back!
