Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Tunbridge Wells District

We enjoyed our stay here very much. We did have a little difficulty finding it, but it was rush hour and there was lots of traffic blocking our view. We phoned Mark and he helped us straight away. His communication has been brilliant. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the facilities in the kitchen and bathroom were excellent. Everything you wanted was there. It was exactly as the photos portrayed. I would recommend it for a stay and I cannot praise Mark highly enough.

We stayed here for a week during our cycling trip in Kent and East Sussex. What a great choice! A perfect starting point for beautiful walks and cycling day trips. Also a very quiet and pretty environment to relax. A wonderful courtyard with stunning climbing rose bushes and verbena. Sheep, cattle, chickens and koy fish around, and of course the dogs. The cottage is spacious and has everything you need. It is one of the very few holiday homes we've been with a perfect shower, high quality kitchen equipment, good quality pots and pans in all sizes and numbers, really sharp knives etc. And if you still miss anything, just ask James. We were happy with the provided essential breakfast stuff on arrival. And flowers. James, a perfect host who made us feel very welcome.

Polly's house was everything we had hoped for. We were thrilled when we opened the door and saw the warm welcoming cottage. Polly had left some basic supplies and the accommodation was full of many homely touches We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Polly's cottage.

We stayed here 4 nights. Altho the temperatures outside we quite high it remained really nice and cool inside, which we liked a lot. The garden is really cozy and provides both sun and shadow which makes it a pleasant place to relax. Everything was as described and the flowers and milk provided were welcoming extras. The only criticism we have is that the countertop felt a bit sticky and that the cupboards are quite cluttered and we had to search sometimes to find what we needed. Overal we would definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely cozy place to stay with the added bonus of a log burner. Comfy stay and clear instructions from our host.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - location suitable for our dog as very peaceful rural setting. The kitchen was also well stocked and the lounge comfortable. Also ideally situated to visit local National Trust properties in this part of Kent - information regarding local pubs shops etc very helpful - we would consider returning .

Location was perfect and the airbnb was exactly how Angela described it. Lots of places to visit and smack bang in the middle of all the activity. Really enjoyed our stay.

Gorgeous flat on the seafront, with two super comfy bedrooms and beautifully curated art throughout the house - would 100% stay again if I’m ever back in St Leonard’s!

We absolutely loved our week at Benny’s place :-)! Amazing views, super peaceful and surrounded by wonderful old oak trees! Also a super comfy and large bed (super king)! Benny and her husband were really friendly, helpful and welcoming, we’d definitely recommend staying here :-)

The apartment is stylish, comfortable and very clean. We loved the view and the space was great, high ceilings and period features. Having been to St Leonards before we knew that our favourite restaurants were walkable too. Moyra was a great host and very helpful and considerate about check in time, much appreciated.

We had a truly wonderful stay! The studio had everything you might need and was very clean, cozy, and comfortable—just perfect for a relaxing getaway. A huge thank you for all the thoughtful tips and recommendations—they really made our trip special. We especially loved the scenic walk from Firehills View along the cliffs, followed by a delicious lunch in the garden at the Two Sawyers. Taking the East Hill lift in the afternoon and spending time on the pebble beach in Hastings was the perfect way to round out the day. Perfect. Chosen for location closer to family who live in london who could join us for the day, lunch in Pooh corner cafe, walk in hundred ache woods. Then as a couple we had a couple of days visiting local sites including Hever castle. Good nights sleep 💤 in comfy king bed. Great shower and just all around what we needed for our break.

This was the second time I am choosing one of Sean’s places. Such a great host, I totally recommend.

Simon was really helpful and available at all times for any queries. He gave great recommendations for local restaurants etc and the place is central with free parking opposite.

We had a lovely stay in Tunbridge Wells. The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was very quick to respond and informative, providing clear instructions and helpful local tips, which made the stay even smoother. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and would be happy to stay again.

Our first Airbnb, it was AMAZING. Sadly only able to stay for two nights. The accommodation was perfect in every way. We didn’t require any of the facilities other than two mugs, a kettle, a bed, and a bathroom as we were in the area to visit relatives for a function, however, there was everything supplied that could possibly be needed for a long holiday. The bedding, and everything else, was spotless. Not a speck of dust anywhere, beautiful white towels. Could not find a single fault at all, and I’m not an easy person to please! Such a peaceful area. Really enjoyed our stay at Steven’s place, perfect location and really lovely homely flat. Definitely recommend!

What a perfect getaway spot. We wished we had booked a longer stay! Alison has thought of everything to create a welcoming, stylish and comfortable experience inside and out! Highlights were strolling to the pretty pond area, private fire-pit area, blissfully comfy beds, views of fields and beautiful gardens. Added bonus was the on-site blacksmith’s traditional forge run by Alison’s son and husband!! Highly recommended. Thank you Alison!

We absolutely loved our stay here over a long weekend! The accommodation was spotless and very comfortable, with beautiful views to wake up to. We have just arrived home after a wonderful short break at Seascape, celebrating my husband’s 70th birthday. Seascape is a beautiful apartment. Spotlessly clean and it felt like it had been newly decorated and furnished. It’s great to have two levels and two bathrooms. Felt very spacious and incredibly peaceful with the most glorious view. We spotted dolphins out in the bay from the balcony. Highly recommended. By far the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in. We also enjoyed the cafes and restaurants in St Leonard’s and the walk to Bexhill. Really didn’t want to return to 30 degrees heat in London. Thank you!
