Vacation rentals with lake access in Tunbridge Wells District

Tim was a super and very responsive host. The property is nicely furnished and centrally located. The only point I would make is that if you have toddlers / small children, you should be aware that the front door is right next to a busy road (with only about 1 metre of pavement) so attention is needed when accessing the property. Inside, the stairs to the bedrooms are rather steep, so your children should be clearly told that they are not for playing on! Thanks a lot Tim for a nice stay.

Idyllic - best description of Kathy's place in Sussex in the south of England. Kathy was a great host and the property was amazing; both the Coach House, which was huge and boasted a wonderful kitchen and common areas. We were celebrating the arrival of our first grandbaby, bringing the whole family together (7 + infant) over Christmas and really appreciated all the nice touches, including the beautiful Christmas decorations. Make no mistake, you are in the countryside - with all the peace that comes with it (there is a lively and charming little pub a short distance); and, yet, not really all that far from London and the airports; very accessible. I could go on but Kathy's place was just a perfect retreat and we feel very blessed to have been able to stay at this beautiful property. Amazing location just behind a sand dune off amber beach. Perfect place to stay with kids, lots of games and activities if it’s raining and the beach for when it’s not! Great and clean facilities - everything you could need for an escape to the seaside!

A very beautiful and unique haven in the countryside. We loved the remote woodland location and spent an idyllic couple of days here relaxing together as a small family. The accommodation had plenty of room for the four of us and we loved being close to nature for a few days enjoying woodland walks on our doorstep. We had everything we needed to cook nice meals and all slept well in the comfortables beds and quiet setting. It was lovely to wake up to the sound of ducks on the lake. James was a great host and very quick to get back to us when we had a query. We'll definitely come back.

We had a fab time perfect location to explore the beach with kids and be back home again in no time to warm up. Plenty of space inside even with four kids playing.

Property exactly as advertised. Very clean and kitchen stocked up with basics, bedrooms nicely made up and living area comfortable and a good size for the 6 of us adults and 2 infants. Chichi even called and said she forgot to stock toothpaste and offered to bring it right over which was so lovely ! I gave the check in 5 stars because although we had trouble getting in, Chichi didn’t hesitate to come over immediately and rectify it which is exactly what you want when travelling with a small child. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed for the bank holiday weekend. The area is peaceful, the only sounds we heard was the birds, which is very welcomed since we’re from London! The lake is only a few steps away and the sea in a 5 minute walk. The caravan is as described, clean and tidy and we felt very much at home. Amanda was responsive to questions, which is so helpful. The beds are super comfortable and the shower was lovely! We only cooked breakfast at the caravan but kitchen wise it has everything you could need. Our only gripe is the phone service is awful around the whole area, no signal and the WiFi wasn’t strong in the caravan, so we had a grumpy son at the start of the holiday 😆 but all in all we have such a lovely stay. We had a great time at Randall’s place. It was in a nice, safe, and quiet area. Close to the district line (15 minute walk) and Wimbledon tennis garden (10 minute walk). We did not have a car and it was easily walkable. The place was cleaned well and we felt right at home. It is on the second floor and the building has a convenient elevator. As for Randall, he was very kind. Good suggestions for grocery stores and restaurants. He was also flexible with check in which was very appreciated. We would definitely stay at Randall’s place again.

Absolutely lovely stay, very clear and exactly how it looked in the pictures, very close to everything, within walking distance. Very friendly host and great communication! Thank you Joy will definitely stay again in the future

We had a comfortable stay at Claudia's apartment. It is a brand new development. Communication with Claudia was good with quick responses. We had a minor issue upon arrival which was solved fairly quickly following a call with Claudia. Also, the check in instructions could be a little clearer for which we have provided feedback so this should be better for anyone staying after us!

We had a wonderful stay in Sally’s apartment. The location was perfect for visiting the Chelsea flower show and Sloane Square and the atmosphere around Battersea power station was vibrant with lively restaurants and bars. Sally was a very helpful and responsive host and her apartment was extremely comfortable with lovely furnishings and lots of interesting personal touches. Can’t wait for a return visit!

It was a lovely stat. The house was in well organized condition, clean & spacious. Would love to book again.

Small 2 storey annex alongside owners home, comfy and well equipped. Good walk in shower and Smart TV with Amazon stick attached so we could log in to Netflix. 5 mins walk up to local pub, restaurants and shops. Although we were unable to park on their drive as they were using it, free parking literally 20 seconds away in Nicholas Road with always plenty of room.Also gave a back route out without going on main road.

Perfect weekend get away with my partner who was visiting from Australia. Leeds castle and Hever castle within visiting distance.

Our family had a wonderful few days at the gorgeous Oast House property. Stunning setting with views across the fields. Local walks were great and maps available, along with local attractions all close by. Heather prepared an amazing meal for us which was well worth the money and the property had everything we needed for a peaceful and enjoyable few days away from the big smoke. The guest book in the property says it all about what a fantastic place this is. Highly recommend and look forward to returning soon.

Great cottage, very spacious, very clean, comfy furniture. Nice touches such as tea, coffee, dishwasher tablets, washing up sponges and lots of toilet rolls. Jo was super easy to communicate with and gave us lots of recommendations for activities for our toddler in advance which was very useful.

Our stay at the cottage was exactly what we required. The location was ideal, the surroundings and grounds were great. The accommodation was great and Jo was a very responsive host. I would recommend the cottage as a great place to stay.

Lovely accomodation! Although we were only able to stay for a short while, we still had a lovely time. We thoroughly enjoyed the woodland walk (and so did our two chihuahuas). The property was immaculate too. Thank you!

The location was great - Camber Sands beautiful beach is less than 10 mins walk away. The nearest town, Rye, is a few mins drive - it is picturesque with lots to see and some pretty, independent shops and nice restaurants. The accommodation was one of the best I’ve rented on Airbnb. It was comfortable, tastefully decorated, exceptionally clean and tidy, and spacious. Everything worked, it was well equipped, and the view out over the fields at the back of the property was awesome. The hosts were great too - proactive, welcoming, responsive and easy-going. Clearly experienced and considerate of what people are looking for from their stay. Overall 10/10 and I might go back!!

Perfect place for our family of four to stay for a peaceful and secluded retreat for a couple of nights. The cottage was lovely and the grounds and surrounding garden were beautiful. My two primary school aged daughters loved spending time in the swimming pool and even attempted to play a bit of tennis! Caroline was a brilliant host and keen to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Super friendly and always clear and responsive with communication. Would love to stay here again some time and hope we get a chance to do so!

From start to finish, this place is an absolute dream. So peaceful and relaxing, it was the perfect little weekend getaway. The house and surroundings were absolutely spotless, the ducks were adorable, and the attention to detail with providing extras needed for comfort was superb. Clare was a fantastic host. Always responsive but never intrusive. If you're looking for somewhere to stay for a few days or more with your partner - or just on your own - where you can recharge your batteries, this is it.
