“Janice and Peanut made our stay so special. After traveling the country for weeks, this was the highlight of our trip. We have stayed all over the world in BnB’s, and Janice and Peanut were absolutely the most hospitable hosts we have ever experienced. I would recommend them to anyone who wants quiet with some of the kindest people. We loved our time here.”
"MY PLACE" is a warm, sunny family home which I share with my cat Casper. Handy to restaurants, pub, club and Four Square. Within walking distance of the township, bush walks, fishing and the playground. Only a one hour drive to either Te Anau or Invercargill.
“Gail is an excellent host! She is friendly and welcoming. She’s happy to have a chat if you want but also gives you your space if you want quiet time, so you always feel very relaxed and comfortable. She served us a yummy breakfast and went out of her way to accommodate our dietary requirements. She also made us reservations at a local place for a great dinner as well. The house is lovely and very clean. We recommend Gail very highly and look forward to staying with her on our next trip to Tuatapere.”
A country getaway that is nestled in the heartland of the Southern Scenic Route and near the gateway to Fiordland. This retreat is suitable for all travellers, horse lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. If you are after a real New Zealand farm experience make a booking. Depending on the time of year there will be different things to do and see on the farm. Shearing a sheep, feeding lambs or calves, horses, always something to do on the farm, no riding the horses from February 22 till March 2 thanks
“My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Suzie's place during part of our honeymoon and, like everyone else, wished we could have stayed a second night! The farmhouse is HUGE - it really can fit a lot of people comfortably, let alone the two of us - and the parlor is to die for. Traveled across NZ and the sunrise here was the best we saw anywhere. Horseback riding was relaxing, and there's so much to do nearby. A wonderful, chill, time. Suzie is a great host with an awesome sense of humor and personality. Hope to be back one day.”
