“We were greeted warmly by very kind couples. This time, 4 friends stayed 3 days and 2 nights, but the room was very clean and comfortable. Also, you can walk to convenience stores and supermarkets, and there are cooking utensils, so it was very convenient to cook your own meals. I want to bother you next time.”

“Never, never EVER have we experienced such amazing hospitality and kindness as we have with Kyoko and her unbelievably beautiful home. This was EXACTLY what we needed on our last night in Japan, after a long month of travelling. After we booked, Kyoko provided clear instructions on where she would pick us up from the airport. When she arrived, it became clear how enthusiastic and kind she was, and as we drove to her home, she offered to take us to grocery stores, etc. We told her that we would like to go out to a restaurant later, implying that we’d call a taxi, but Kyoko asked us what we’d like, drove us to a restaurant, sat with us while we ordered (as restaurant was in rural area, and menu was entirely in Japanese.) She made sure we got what we needed and made arrangements for owner of restaurant to notify her when we were finished our meals, so she could pick us up! Kyoko drove us to a convenience store afterwards, so we could get some drinks and supplies to take home, and then we went home to enjoy a much needed soak in her private, outdoors onsen( that’s mineral water fed hot tubs to North American folks!) This was magnificent, and probably the most piping hot soak We had ever set foot in, but as we adjusted, aches and pains ebbed away as we watched the steam rise to a navy blue night sky, peppered with stars. After a perfect sleep in the most comfortable mattresses ever, Kyoko prepared a beautiful western breakfast for us, with homemade bread, jam, as well as homegrown organic vegetables from her beautiful garden, and home prepared bacon. There was so much food, we couldn’t finish it all! We could’ve stayed forever, but sadly, we had to leave. Kyoko drove us to the airport and hugged us goodbye. I cannot recommend this bnb more, as the house, the experience, and the host is absolutely top notch. Kyoko, from the bottom of our hearts, arigatou...you made our last night in Japan a beautiful one.”
